Chapter 151 You'll Never Be Qualified Without My Mom
After Ronan Peterson left, Eugene asked in surprise, "Why are there four invitations?"
Jasmine sighed, "It seems Mr. Graves values this enough to include William."
"Why should he benefit from our Watson Family? What does he have to do with this?" Eugene was extremely dissatisfied. "Besides, he's prone to causing trouble. If we take him and he says something wrong in front of Mr. Graves, it would be a big trouble."
Jasmine, however, had a stern look on her face. "But my mom wants to groom him, so she will definitely take him."
Eugene suggested, "How about this, let your grandpa take the last spot?"
Jasmine's eyes lit up. "That's a great idea! Mom can't say anything about that."
Eugene quickly informed Craig to attend Kurt's private dinner party. Craig was overjoyed.
When Fiona came back and learned about it, she didn't say anything further.
After all, Craig was already prepared to go, and it wouldn't be appropriate to replace him with William.
William returned to Azure Villas in the evening. "Fiona, let's go, we're leaving."
Jasmine frowned. "Leaving? Where to?"
William replied, "To attend Kurt's dinner party." Then he asked Fiona, "Didn't anyone invite you?"
Eugene questioned, "Mr. Graves sent someone to invite us. But what does this dinner have to do with you?"
William's face changed slightly. "What do you mean?"
Jasmine sneered, "Mr. Peterson brought four handwritten invitations from Mr. Graves. Me, my parents, and my grandpa. You're not included."
Eugene grew increasingly annoyed with William, who shamelessly tried to go himself. "William, even though you're our godson, you can't take everything. Especially Mr. Graves' private invitation, do you think you're qualified to go? Do you really think we're just going for a meal?"
Fiona's face turned livid, and she quickly said, "William, the spots are indeed full this time. Next time there's an opportunity like this, I'll take you."
William said, "Alright, Fiona, you guys go ahead."
To William, it didn't matter whether he went or not. He just wanted Fiona to meet Kurt. He actually preferred avoiding the hassle.
Soon, Craig also arrived at Azure Villas, smiling broadly. When he heard William wanted to go too, he was furious.
Before leaving, Jasmine approached William and said, "William, in the future, you need to understand your status, abilities and your place! Understand? Is this something you should be attending? You'll never be qualified without my mom."
Fiona and the three others arrived at the dinner location, an ordinary restaurant. But no one cared about the place when it was Kurt's invitation. Even drinking a glass of water would be an immense honor.
"Is that Mr. Graves?" Jasmine saw Kurt and a few others waiting at the restaurant entrance, and her heart almost jumped out of her chest.
Craig and Eugene gasped. Kurt personally welcoming them, such a high honor. If word got out, it would surely shock countless people.
"Mrs. Watson, Mr. Watson, Ms. Watson, and this is?" When Kurt and his group saw them arrive, they immediately came forward to greet them.
Kurt started to make small talk. He could recognize Eugene's family of three. But why had William been replaced by an old man?
Eugene quickly introduced, "Mr. Graves, this is my father, Craig."
Craig immediately extended his hand, flattered to greet him, "Mr. Graves, hello."
"Hello." Kurt greeted perfunctorily, but his eyes kept scanning behind them.
The others did the same. They were looking behind the group, seemingly searching for someone else.
This puzzled the Watson family greatly. Was there someone else?
Kurt suddenly asked, "No one else?"
