Including Ella and Delia.
They were both cautious, worried that Jasmine might notice something, so they didn't dare to ask for specific details. They had no idea when exactly William had left.
By the time the crowd gathered near the Watson Mansion, they found out William had already been gone for hours.
Everyone was left stunned.
Leaning on his cane, Corey immediately called Fiona.
Fiona was busy working on the launch plan for the Phoenix Breath Pill when she nearly dropped her phone at the unexpected call. She thought William had caused some major trouble.
"Uh, Mr. Brown, what's up?" she asked, her voice tinged with anxiety.
Corey carefully asked, "Has Mr. Davis... left?"
Fiona's breath quickened, and she tensed up. "Yeah! He left early this morning! Did something happen?"
"No... Do you know where he went? Has he left Starlight City?"
Corey probed.
Fiona shook her head. "I don't know. I'm not in touch with him right now."
"Okay, got it."
Corey hung up immediately.
"How strange..."
Before Fiona could shake off her confusion, another call came in. This time from Kurt.
"Ms. Fisher, has your godson left?"
Fiona was even more shocked. Another call with the same question.
"Yeah, he left! I have no idea where he went!"
Then, a string of calls from other big names followed, jewelry mogul Damon, the finance director, the chamber of commerce president, all asking the same thing: Had William left?
Fiona was completely baffled.
How could one person's departure cause such a commotion?
Eugene, standing nearby, explained, "You've underestimated your own status! Your position now is powerful enough to shift the balance in Starlight City. You notified everyone yesterday, so of course, it blew up."
Fiona thought about it and realized he had a point.
After all, Hope Pharmaceutical held an absolute dominant position in Starlight City; even the Merchants' Guild of Shadows had to give way.
She had indeed informed everyone individually yesterday, so naturally, it caused a stir.
However, she wasn't worried. Since William had left, he wouldn't cause any more trouble in her world.

Jasmine had just calmed herself when Ella and Delia called one after the other, asking where William had gone.
"He's at Kieran's place! Ella, I'm finally free! Let's have dinner tonight!"
"Delia, let's celebrate tonight!"
Jasmine's excitement was barely contained.
The Ward couple left home and headed straight into the city, quickly booking the best restaurant nearby to treat William.
