Fiona quickly pulled William aside: "William, come out, I need to talk to you!"
"We really can't afford to mess with the Merchants' Guild of Shadows!"
"The Parker family, the Sanchez family, and the West family have a total of nine Masters of Witchcraft. And the Brown family? They have a five-hundred-strong Enchantment Suppression Army and someone close to becoming a Lord of Wizard! How can we possibly compete with that?"
Just as William was about to speak, Fiona continued, "William, I actually know that the three ancient prescriptions and the Strengthening Body Pill were all left to you by Eden!"
William was stunned.
But saying the ancient prescriptions were left to him by Eden wasn't entirely wrong.
If Eden hadn't sent him to Paradise Island, how could he have learned Martial practices and medicine?
Eden didn't leave him anything tangible, but sending him to Paradise Island was the best gift he could have given.
