Chapter 77 Divorce Fiona

"Fiona, you've really crossed the line. What do you mean by staying out so long? Are you trying to end this? Fine, let's get a divorce," Eugene said.

Fiona went quiet when she heard that.

After a moment, she just said, "Alright, divorce it is. I'll sort some things out in three days, and we'll meet in court."

She didn't give Eugene a chance to respond and hung up.

As soon as she did, Fiona started crying. "He still doesn't get what he did wrong? And now he wants a divorce?"

William tried to comfort her, "It's okay. In three days, they'll regret this. They'll be begging you not to go through with it."

Fiona nodded. "Alright."

Meanwhile, Eugene was freaking out. "Mom, Dad, Fiona agreed to the divorce. She said after three days, we'll get divorced."

Craig got furious. "She's willing to divorce you over that jerk?"

Megan chimed in coldly, "Eugene, do you see her true colors now? I think she's been planning this for a while. Look at how much she's changed since that William showed up."

Jasmine was worried. "Mom must be saying that out of anger. No matter how mad she is, she wouldn't actually get a divorce. Dad, let's go find her, okay? You can't get divorced."

Craig was livid. "She wouldn't dare. Let's see if she has the guts to go through with it in three days. By then, she'll be begging Eugene not to divorce her."

Megan agreed, "Right, we can't let her get away with this. Otherwise, she'll be even more out of control when she comes back."

Eugene and Jasmine felt helpless and had to give up.

Three days later was the grand opening of Hope Pharmaceutical.

The news spread quickly.

Everyone in the pharmaceutical industry was talking about it.

All the big names got invitations. When Timothy got his, he immediately knew something was up.

The unusual activity among suppliers and distributors, plus the movements of The Serpent Gang and Victor, all pointed to someone messing with Starlight City's pharmaceutical scene.

But taking the title of The Pharmaceutical Tycoon of Starlight City from Timothy? That was simply out of the question.

As long as he had the Regenesis Ointment and Scar Removal Cream, no one could touch him.

Soon, the Watson family got an invitation to the grand opening of Hope Pharmaceutical.

Eugene was puzzled. "Whose company is this? Why is there no info about it? And it's not even a good time for Starlight City's pharmaceutical industry. Entering the market now is the worst timing. I bet it won't even get off the ground before being swallowed up by us or Hayes Pharmaceutical. Anyway, we'll go to the grand opening in three days and see who's behind this."

The Watson family was dismissive. Even they couldn't deal with Timothy. How could a newcomer surpass him?

William had everything ready in three days.

The media presence was twice as large as Timothy's last event, including several international outlets.

Sienna handled all of this, and for any media outlet that refused, she just bought them out.

As for the experts and renowned doctors, they were all invited but weren't allowed to see the products made from the ancient formulas beforehand.

William was pleased. "Alright, everything's ready, just waiting for the grand opening!"

But Aaron and Victor didn't look too happy. "Mr. Davis, there's actually one more thing!"

William asked, "What is it?"

Victor explained, "In Starlight City, there's an unwritten rule that new companies must visit the most powerful local business association."

William frowned. "Which association is that?"

Victor replied, "It's the Merchants' Guild of Shadows. It's made up of the top four powerful families and many wealthy entrepreneurs in Starlight City. Among them, Corey is the richest man in Starlight City. They control nearly two-thirds of the city's economy."
