Chapter 206 A Useless Person Who Achieves Nothing but Ruins Everything!
For some reason, William's words echoed in his mind: "I expect to see you in your dad's office within half an hour!"
What they had dismissed as a joke now exploded in his mind like a thunderclap!
With trembling hands, he unlocked one of his phones, trying to call back, but there were so many messages that the phone froze and wouldn't respond.
Just then, his other phone rang.
He quickly answered it.
It was Joe calling.
In the Security Office, Joe had gotten used to making calls.
Mechanically, instinctively dialing.
One after another!
But this time, it connected.
"Dad, what's wrong?" Alan's lips trembled, taking forever to get the words out.
For it to reach this point, it had to be a major catastrophe.
"Are you dead or something?! Get your ass to my office at the Security Office! Immediately! Right now! Fast, fast, fast! As quickly as possible! Hurry up! You must be here!" Joe's voice on the other end was a furious roar.
He was shouting so hard his voice went hoarse!
After yelling, Joe's body completely gave out, and he collapsed to the floor.
These past two hours felt like twenty years.
It had destroyed both his body and spirit.
He was holding on by sheer willpower, and now that there was news from Alan, he finally broke down.
Lying on the floor, Joe said to William, "Mr. Davis, my good-for-nothing son is on his way!"
"Good, I look forward to seeing you discipline him," William replied calmly, even leisurely sipping his tea.
After his father hung up, Alan knew the sky was falling!
His father's voice was like that!
Anxiety, fear, unease, madness...
In over twenty years, his father had always been calm and composed.
Never like this.
It was the first time he had seen such a situation!
Something big had happened!
Something really big!
"Head to the Security Office immediately," Alan said, trembling, to the driver.
"Wait!"
"The office?"
Alan suddenly remembered Joe had said to come directly to his office.
Didn't that mean...
Could it be that William, that clown, was telling the truth?
If so...
It was like a series of thunderbolts striking him.
He collapsed into the car seat, gasping for breath, eyes vacant, mind blank, completely unaware.
He couldn't even imagine what awaited him next.
When Jasmine and her group got home.
"Mom, Dad, hasn't William come back yet?" Not seeing William, Jasmine asked in surprise.
Ella and Delia exchanged a glance.
They both had a pretty good idea where William was.
But they didn't tell Jasmine.
Delia believed in William unconditionally; whatever he said was true.
Ella knew William's identity.
Fiona looked puzzled and said, "He hasn't come back! Wasn't he with you guys?"
Eugene, realizing something, said directly, "Did he get into trouble again?"
Jasmine nodded and replied, "Dad, you're right! He got into trouble..."
After Jasmine recounted the whole story, Eugene was furious, cursing, "That useless idiot! Can't do anything right, always screwing up!"
Fiona frowned, sighing, feeling a bit disappointed in William.
