Chapter 305 It Should Be the Most Regretful Day!
Jasmine was thrilled after William left.
So the dinner was on the same level as when she hosted Noah!
The most expensive VIP room at the high-end restaurant!
"Ms. Watson! What's the good news? Spending money like this?"
A few colleagues from Rose Corporation, not knowing what was going on, couldn't help but ask.
Jasmine beamed with joy, "You'll find out soon! Anyway, this is the happiest day of my life so far!"
"What is it exactly? The happiest day?"
Everyone was puzzled.
Soon after, the guests Jasmine invited arrived one by one.
Manuel and other top rich kids from Starlight City.
"Mr. Brown, welcome!"
"Why did you all come together?"
Jasmine was surprised to find that forty or fifty people came together.
"We just ran into each other, so we came together!"
Manuel smiled awkwardly.
Actually, after leaving The Golden Palate at noon, they had gathered together to discuss how to get closer to William.
"Please come in!"
Jasmine didn't think much of it.
"Ms. Jones is here? Please come in!"
Seeing Amelia, Jasmine trembled slightly.
Before, she thought that since Amelia didn't go to Central State Medical Academy, she would definitely be beneath her.
But through what she'd learned recently, Amelia was still more formidable than her.
Amelia nodded, showing a meaningful smile.
It made Jasmine feel scared.
She didn't know why.
Before she could react, Anna arrived too.
"Ms. Smith, please! You look travel-worn, you must be exhausted?"
Jasmine said with a smile.
Unlike the others who looked polished and glamorous, Anna looked quite disheveled, her hair not even fixed.
"Ah? Yes! I'm exhausted! Good thing I'm not late!"
She had been busy all day and had just dropped William off at the Jones Manor.
Where would she have time to fix herself up?
"Ms. Smith must be worn out! Come sit!"
What puzzled Jasmine even more was that Manuel and his group all stood up to welcome Anna, even offering her a seat right next to Manuel.
That's not right!
Based on the Smith family's status, Anna could only be considered second-tier, nowhere near equal to someone of Manuel's level.
What's going on?
Could there be some inside information she didn't know about?
Was the Smith family about to rise to become a first-class power?
Manuel and the others all knew that William had moved into the king's villas, with Anna hosting him.
She was someone close to William.
Never mind them. Even the richest person in the city or the mayor would have to show her respect.
Anna sat down awkwardly. "Sorry, I didn't clean up! Hope you don't mind!"
"Not at all! Ms. Smith, you're the most beautiful one here!"
"Yes! I think so too!"
Seeing everyone compliment Anna like this, Jasmine felt even more that something was off.
But she couldn't figure out exactly what.
Soon, after everyone arrived, the banquet began.
Jasmine raised her glass. "Thank you all for coming to the dinner I'm hosting!"
"Today is the happiest day of my life!"
Manuel and the others had strange expressions. They all knew what Jasmine meant.
Happiest?
Really?
Shouldn't it be the day you'll regret most!
"Jasmine, tell us why! We don't know!"
Several colleagues started egging her on.
Jasmine smiled. "I'm sure you all roughly know about my mom's godson, William Davis, right?"
She briefly explained why she disliked William. "When he was at my house, he affected my dating life, my lifestyle, and my mood..."
"He's the guy I dislike most, bar none!"
"Now he's left my house, and we have nothing to do with each other anymore! How could I not be happy?"
