Chapter 112 My Words Don't Count?

"Do you know me?" William looked at the name tag on his chest—David Carter.

A name he had never heard before.

David said coldly, "Of course I know you! I'm Jasmine's senior! I've heard all about you!"

"I really underestimated your shamelessness! You actually dared to come to Summit Capital Solutions? Sitting here without a shred of guilt?"

"Do you think you belong here? Is this the place you should be?"

David suddenly raised his voice, starting to question William.

This caused many people to stop their work and watch the commotion.

They weren't interested in the new colleague, but who wouldn't be interested in this?

David glanced around the room and said, "Everyone working here at least graduated from prestigious universities! Some even from the world's top financial schools! Finance Masters, Finance PhDs!"

William looked at him and chuckled, "And then?"

"What qualifications does an illiterate person who hasn't even attended school have to be here?"

"Do you know you're taking someone else's spot? Summit Capital Solutions only hired one person this year. They've studied hard for over twenty years! And you took their place! Doesn't your conscience hurt?"

Hearing this, everyone was indignant, and more people gathered around to watch.

Exactly!

Everyone who got in here had worked their hardest.

And William got in so easily.

How unfair the world is!

They could even imagine the disappointed look on the person who was replaced.

Twenty years of effort, gone.

If it were any other company, it would be understandable.

But who doesn't get into a financial institution based on their own merit?

Because there's no room or opportunity for training here!

So no one comes here to train or do nothing.

It's all technical work!

And it's a relatively fair place.

But William came.

Clearly just to enjoy life.

This made everyone very angry!

"You got this opportunity through improper means! We hate people like you the most! Summit Capital Solutions doesn't want incompetent people! And definitely not parasites like you!"

"You better recognize your place and leave, don't pollute this environment! Don't join a circle that isn't yours!"

David stared intently at William.

He already hated people who used improper means, and with William's engagement to Jasmine, he hated him even more.

That's why he targeted him like this.

David's instigation made everyone around have no good feelings towards William.

Even disgust.

William still had his legs up on the desk, looking defiant.

This made David even angrier, "Put your legs down! This isn't a place for bastards like you to act recklessly!"

William looked at him and said, "I'm thirsty, go get me a glass of water!"

"What?" David almost doubted his ears.

William not only didn't reflect but arrogantly ordered him to get water?

How could he not be angry?

David shouted, "What right do you have to order me to get you water? Do you deserve it? Don't think just because you're Fiona's godson, you can do whatever you want! It doesn't work here!"

"David, what are you doing?"

Rachel rushed over upon hearing the commotion.

"Ms. Cooper, he's new here and asked me to get him water!"

David immediately complained.

Rachel's expression changed, "If he asked you to get water, then go get water!"

Hearing this, David was stunned.

Did he hear wrong?

"Ms. Cooper, how can I..."

"What? My words don't count?"

Rachel suddenly lowered her voice, looking serious.

"You!"

David glared at William fiercely and had no choice but to obediently go get water.

Although he was extremely unwilling, he had no choice.
