Chapter 100

Nina swallowed hard, her soul really could not wear clothes as expensive as this. Seeing Aiden calm and relaxed, made she wonder, how has she lived her life so far? 

"N-no need, I can't wear it!" She refused reluctantly. Instead of not wanting, she felt more inappropriate. 

"Why? You don't like the style? Or the color?" Asked Aiden who was insensitive to the difficulties Nina was feeling. 

Nina glanced around, watching whether anyone was near them or not. When her condition was safe, she directed her lips to Aiden's ear and whispered. 

"Too expensive, I can't afford to wear it!" 

"What? Hahaha...what are you talking about? Don't embarrass me, you idiot! Hahaha...!" Aiden laughed out loud at this joke that he found ridiculous. 

"What's so funny? Why are you laughing?" 

"Shut up and get to the locker room, now! I don't want to hear your bullshit!" 

"B-but-" 

"Bring this and this too! Try and choose which one you like!" Aiden said as he gave five pieces of clothing to Nina's hands and pushed her towards the changing room. 

Nina who seemed to have no right to refuse, was forced to bring these clothes and try them on one by one. After the first dress was tried on, she opened the door to show the young master. 

"What do you think?" Asked Nina nervously, expensive clothes felt so foreign to her body, making her not confident. 

"Beautiful-" Aiden complimented with a sweet smile. Thanks to the power of his mind, Aiden had guessed that his choice was the best. 

After trying on the first dress, Nina put on another dress again and showed Aiden again until the last dress was tried on. But the thing is, the comments that came out of his mouth were only "Pretty" and "You look amazing" what he said made Nina even more confused to make a choice. 

"So which do you think? I'm confused! You said they all look beautiful!" 

"So, just take them all! You also need a formal suit for an internship at that TV station, right? Don't wear those shabby clothes of yours while working there! You'll only embarrass yourself!" 

"What do you mean by shabby clothes? Even though the clothes I wear are cheap, but nothing is shabby! You can go easy on yourself!" 

"Shut your rotten mouth and quickly choose what you like!" 

Nina really doesn't understand this man's way of thinking, sometimes his attitude irritates her, but more than that, Aiden is the best man she will probably only meet once in her life. 

After buying clothes, shoes and bags that Nina will wear during the internship. Nina couldn't stop smiling seeing the bags containing branded goods at high prices that she carried in her hands. 

Nina feels that right now it is as if she is living in a dream world that is too beautiful to be true. Six months ago, she was still struggling with extreme savings in order to be able to eat until the end of the month. But now, she buys luxury goods without thinking about how much money to pay. 

"He spent more than 6000 dollars to buy this all, he is really rich!"  She thought. A glimmer of regret rose in her heart, why did she ignorantly reject a man who could give her everything like this at that time? 

"I must have gone mad at that time! What was I thinking at that time? You idiot!Stupid...!" 

"What's wrong? Why does your face look so disgusting?" 

"Ah...no, it's nothing. I'm just hungry, haha..." 

"Why didn't you tell me? All right, let's eat!" 

"Uhm...Aiden!" 

"What?" 

"That, hmm...thank you-" Nina bowed her head in embarrassment. Happiness and confusion mixed into one. 

"What are you talking about? I'll give anything as long as it makes you happy!" 

She felt more and more ashamed of herself, was it still appropriate for her to try to take advantage of such a good man? but on the one hand, she again questioned her own feelings, is it true that the love she is feeling right now is genuine love?

"How? Are you full now?" Aasked Aiden who kept watching the stupid face of the woman sitting in front of him. 

"Haha..." Nina grinned after eating a portion of sushi, a bowl of spicy ramen and a portion of octopus takoyaki. 

Seeing Nina's terrible appetite, Aiden felt full before he even finished his food. Watching Nina eat is actually one of his favorite moments. 

"If you still want to eat again, just order!" 

"No, I'm full! But I could probably order some sushi for Courtney and Jessica. They'd love it!" 

"Up to you!" 

"But, why are you being so nice to me today? What happen?" 

"So, you think I've been mean all along?" 

"No, it's not like that. But today you are much better and cooler, hahaha..." 

"Nothing, it's just your feelings!" 

"Really?" 

"Yes!" 

"So, how about your mom? You left your mom alone in the apartment?" 

"My mom went out with Samantha, she go to Samantha's spa." 

"Oh, I see?" Nina suddenly felt uneasy. It turns out that Samantha is really a nimble woman. Only one day Aiden's mother came, she had issued all her strategies to get Aiden's mother's attention. 

Nina feels so far from winning, how could someone who knows how to treat the mother of the man she loves lose to someone who wastes his money instead? 

It was a bitter defeat, even as she had yet to come to the fore. Seeing Nina's suddenly gloomy face, Aiden could guess what she was thinking. 

Aiden doesn't know how to convince that she doesn't need to feel defeated or inferior. All of this is just a matter of feelings, no matter how hard a person tries to love, but if the person he loves cannot accept his love. In the end it just becomes a selfish feeling. 

"No need to think too much! What she did, won't change anything!" 

"How can you believe that?" 

"I know what makes me happy and it happens only when I'm with you." 

"I still don't understand, why did you turn down Samantha so hard? Because it seemed like you were really attracted to her!" 

"You're right, I also don't understand why my opinion of her changed. However, one thing I realized. At that time I saw nothing more than admiration, I didn't think of having a romantic relationship with feelings like that. You know? That would feel weird, because you will continue to pretend to be someone else just to make him pay attention to you." 

Nina was stunned, Aiden's words stabbed into her soul. Nina doesn't really understand what love is and what should she do for someone she loves? She worries about her complicated self and fears that her love for Aiden isn't greater than Samantha's. 

"Aiden, if I told you that I love you. Would you believe it?" 

"Of course, why not?" 

"It doesn't matter."
