Chapter 78

The atmosphere became silent and awkward, seeing Samantha looking down with a gloomy face, made Aiden feel that he had now turned into a jerk who had hurt women's hearts. 

He didn't like this, it felt like he was in his father's position when he betrayed his mother. Do men always have to be like this? He loves his mother very much, that's why he is always careful when dealing with women. 

Without a word, Aiden continued on his way and let the silence last until the end. Samantha started to raise her head, although she seemed reluctant to glance at him who was sitting beside her. 

"We have arrived!" Aiden said when his car arrived in front of Samantha's house. 

"How about you stop by first?" 

"You seem to be in a bad state, you should get some rest and-" 

"Is that an excuse you made up to avoid me?" 

"No, I think if we keep this conversation going it won't end. We'll be back arguing and it's really tiring!" 

"Is she in your apartment now?" Samantha asked. Her eyes stared intently with hatred, the great ambition was clear from the glare of her sharp eyes. 

"No!" 

"Then, I want to stay at your apartment now!" 

"I can't, I already told you that tomorrow morning I'm leaving for Paris, so-" 

"Okay, how about you stay at my house? I'll prepare a room for you. You can rest and tomorrow morning, you can come home before you leave!" 

"I have a lot of things to prepare for tomorrow. I don't have time for sleepover games like this!" 

"You can take me to your apartment, I'll help you to get everything ready. Does that make you mind? Unless, of course, you have other plans with him tonight." 

"Why do you always suspect like that?" 

"It's because of your honesty and what you did to me that forced me to act like this!" 

"Hah... can we settle this matter fine? I really don't intend to fight you!" Aiden said with a sigh. 

"Then, follow me!" 

"You must be crazy-" 

"Why? Didn't you say you don't want to fight me? That means you just have to obey and-" 

"Do you think I'm that kind of guy? Do you think I don't have the courage to be strict with you?" 

"I guess not! You are too nice and naive guy, Aiden. You can't go against me!" 

"Fine, it's up to you. I want to go home now, you can come down!" 

"You're telling me to leave? You're insulting me, Aiden!" 

"Get down now and enter your house! Rest and put your mind at ease!" Aiden raised his voice, after holding in his anger for hours which he finally let out. 

He didn't expect Samantha to be this adamant, doing all sorts of ways to keep him. The things she does will only make her look like a pathetic woman, even though she has everything. 

Samantha glared, looking at him with resistance. Moments later, Samantha opened the car door and got out with the same angry expression. 

Without further ado, Aiden immediately drove the car away from Samantha who stood silently with her eyes fixed on the car that slowly left her. 

"You will pay for it, Aiden! I swear you will pay for everything!"

Aiden pressed the doorbell of his own house, acting like a guest just to see if Nina was really waiting for him. However, there was no sign of someone coming and opening the door for him. 

"Is that idiot home? Just watch out if he really does!" He muttered worriedly. 

Tin...tun... 

Aiden pressed the doorbell again to confirm his previous assumption. But there was still no sign of someone opening the door. 

"Tch damn it, it turns out she really came home! How dare she, would I-" 

"Aiden?" A voice called out to him from the end of the corridor. 

Aiden immediately turned his head and saw Nina's figure walking with a bag of groceries. Even though he was annoyed, he felt relieved because his struggle to get home tonight was not in vain. Finally, he can spend time with the banana girl. 

"You just got home?" Nina asked with a smile. Her smile made Aiden feel even warmer. 

"Where are you from?" 

"From the convenience store, buy snacks. I was sleepy earlier, so I took a walk for a while!" 

"Walking alone at this time of night is dangerous, isn't it? You idiot!" 

"Hahahaha... I just went to the convenience store across the street. It's not far!" 

"Yeah, come on in!" Aiden said while opening the door of his house. 

"You came home earlier than I thought. How was the party?" 

"Nothing is interesting!" 

"Really? If the guests were like you and Samantha it would be an amazing party." 

"You think so? But unfortunately, I'm not that fond of parties." 

"Why?" 

"I don't know, I just feel uneasy. A place that doesn't suit me." 

"So, what is the right place for you?" 

"The place where you are." 

Hearing Aiden's word, her face immediately turned red. Since when did Aiden get used to saying such sweet lines like that? it feels, not like the he that Nina knew before. 

"Hahaha... you make me laugh! Hahaha..." Even though she tried to hold it in, Nina's laughter finally broke because at the same time, she remembered the scathing and insulting words that Aiden had said before. 

"What is so funny?" 

"After all, you used to always insult and make fun of me, suddenly being cute like this makes me feel funny." 

"That's true, isn't it? Actually I prefer to insult you, because you really deserve to be insulted!" 

"Hey, I've been waiting for you for hours, what's the answer? If I know this, I'd better just go home!" 

"Why are you so angry? Didn't you ask earlier?" 

"Where did I ask that? You're just doing it like that-' 

"Hey come on, stop it! I don't want to argue with you. You wait here, I want to change first!" 

"Okay, just change your clothes there! Why should you excuse me?" 

"Your mouth really wants to be pulled, huh?" 

"Just pull it if it, ugh...it hurts! You idiot!" Nina shouted while brushing Aiden's hand away, but when Aiden granted her wish, she pulled her lips. 

"How? It hurts, right? That's why you have to watch your mouth-" 

"Couldn't it be any more gentle?" Nina asked while showing a pitiful look that made Aiden suddenly agitated with a great rumble surging through his soul. 

In an instant, he fell silent and looked at Nina with the instinct of a man who needs attention and affection from the woman he loves. 

"What about my lips?" 

"Why should I ask again?" Nina smiled spoiled, making Aiden immediately took her into his arms. 

Yes, this is what he wants. Spend the night with a woman who really understands him. Aiden's embrace grew tighter, as the scent of Nina's perfume began to fill his senses and awaken his natural instincts as a man. 

"We still have plenty of time, right? I want to try something new!" Aiden whispered softly. 

"Trying what new?" 

"I'd like to do it more roughly, but if you mind, I won't force it!" 

"I do not mind!" 

"Is that true?" 

"Yes!" 

"Then, want to warm up first?" 

"How about watching a horror movie?" 

"Sure!"
