Chapter 39

Aiden glared confused, looking at the two women who smiled strangely at him. While Courtney and Jennifer thought they were acting normal, unbeknownst to them, to Aiden they looked like two odd stalkers.

"Actually, who are you guys?" He asked  who was forced to put on a calm and authoritative mode in front of these two unknown women.

"We're Nina's friends , didn't she tell you?" Jennifer asked.

"Nina? What do her friends want here? What business do they have with me?" He thought.

"Erm... wait a minute, where's Aiden? She's not with you guys?"

"Ah... no, she said we just need to greet you, sit down and chat together!" Said Jennifer with a red face because too happy.

Aiden paused, trying to process what was really going on. However, no matter how hard he thought, the only thing that popped into his head right now was that he was being used.

"Then, you two may sit down!"

"Okay!" Courtney and Jennifer had the same reaction. They quickly pulled up chairs and sat opposite Aiden like they were on a blind date.

Courtney and Jennifer couldn't stop looking at Aiden's handsome face which made their hairs bristle, along with forbidden excitement when they looked at Aiden's handsome shoulders.

"Absolutely perfect, incomparable!" Jennifer muttered.

"What?" Aiden asked.

"Ah... no, nothing! Ohohoho..."

"You may order food and drink!"

"Is that true?"

"Right, please order what you want!" Aiden said by showing an angelic smile that made women who saw him unable to blink.

"Aiden, I'm your biggest fan!" Jennifer, who was shy at first, turned aggressive when her subconscious was filled with her hidden fantasies that quickly grabbed Aiden's hand and held it tightly.

"Hey, don't hold his hand! You crazy!"

"Why? Are you jealous? There's still the other hand, right?"

"Oh that's right! Hehehe... Aiden, can I hold your hand? Just a moment!" Courtney asked with a smile that made Aiden shudder.

"Agh... how about it? Haha... alright!" He answered. He felt like a fool who easily gave himself up to anyone who wanted him.

Finally, both of Aiden's hands were on the table, each being held by two strange women who were smiling horribly.

"Aiden's hands are so warm!'"

"Yes, that's right !"

"Actually, what am I doing? Why is it like this?" Aiden thought. Holding hands like this made it seem like he was performing a ritual.

A cafe maid approached their table carrying a tray containing two glasses of juice and two slices of strawberry cheesecake.

"Here's the order-" Her words trailed off as she saw the hand in hand scene before her eyes. Aiden quickly withdrew his hands because other people saw him.

The maid tried to hold back her laughter and it made him very embarrassed and annoyed. If he knew what was really going on, he would not waste his chance to escape from this place and from these two strange women.

After the maid left, he tried to keep an eye on the surroundings, to see if anyone else had noticed them.

"Uhm... can I ask something?"

"Of course you can, you can ask me anything, Aiden! My bra size, my phone number, my home address, do I have a boyfriend and-" Jennifer was so excited that she forgot herself.

"Jenny, you're just embarrassing! Aiden, forgive her, okay? She's a villager!"

"Who are you calling a villager?"

"Yes, you! Who else?"

"Just as you talk, I was born in the city!"

"But your style is very tacky, embarrassing!" Jennifer and Courtney continued to argue, making them forget that Aiden was right in front of them and forced to listen to this pointless argument.

"Erm... Ladies, I-"

"Ladies? What did you call me? Lady? Kyaaa..." Courtney screamed hysterically, making everyone in the cafe pay attention to her.

People's stares made Aiden feel worse than he thought. From the glass window, he saw Nina who was peeking by hiding behind the car.

"That fool!" Aiden said annoyed as he got up from his place.

"Aiden? What's wrong?"

"I'm going to go to the toilet for a bit, okay? Excuse me!" He said as he stepped away from Courtney and Jennifer who looked at each other.

With fast steps, he tried to catch the banana girl who was so presumptuous that he was forced to be in this ridiculous situation.

Seeing Aiden getting closer, Nina immediately ran away, running as fast as possible to avoid Aiden's anger.

"H-how did he know I was here?" Nina muttered while walking quickly through the crowd of people walking.

"Hey, don't run away!" Aiden shouted with all the anger that was unstoppable.

When the streets began to quiet, Nina immediately ran as fast as possible to save himself. Five meters behind her, Aiden was running after her.

"Aiden, I can explain-" Nina shouted as she kept running. Her breathing was erratic, while her knees were trembling because they could no longer be moved.

"Stop...! I give up...!" Aiden shouted who managed to catch up with Nina who was trapped in a dead end road bordered by a high wall and trash cans.

"It's bad! How is this?"

"Where else are you running, huh?"

"Aiden, please calm down! I can explain!"

"I don't want to hear your explanation! This time you are really outrageous!"

"I know, b-but they're my friends and they're big fans of yours. They asked to meet you and I had no choice, and-"

"Other than what?"

"Besides asking for payment!"

"Oh my god! You really are crazy? In your head there is only money, money and money, huh? You are using me to get money, you are outrageous!"

"I'm sorry, but you know how hard it is for me to collect money to pay off my debts to you? I had to do it!"

"Don't look for excuses! So far I've been too patient whenever you do whatever you want. But this time it won't be anymore, I can't forgive all of your actions. Now I ask you to pay all your debts or-"

"Or what?"

"Or I will have to drag you to the police station!"

"What? Police? Please, Aiden! Don't do that, have mercy on me!" Nina screamed hysterically while kneeling and hugging Aiden's leg.

"Hey, let me go! Don't do this again! Get away from me...!" Aiden tried to release Nina''s grip that locked him tighter. He knew exactly, this was just a subterfuge to make him melt and forgive her.

"Aiden, please! I would do anything for you, Please forgive me! Don't report me to the police!"

"No! I don't care about you anymore, let go of my feet!"

"Aiden, I'll do anything. I'll cook delicious food for you every day, do your laundry, clean your house, I'll do anything, Aiden. You can ask me to do anything!"

"Anything?"

"Yes, anything! You can ask me to do anything for you!"

Aiden smiled slyly, for some reason he thought of something interesting. Whatever that means is everything, right?

"Are you sure you won't refuse anything I ask?"

"No, I will not refuse!" She said. She could feel a glimmer of light before her eyes.

"Okay, I'm not going to report you to the police. But from now on, you have to do everything you said before. Cooking, washing my clothes, cleaning my house, toilet, swimming pool, washing dishes, shopping and you have to do all that for one year!"

"What? One year? Are you crazy?"

"Why? Want to protest? You owe so much, even one year's work won't be enough. Do you understand?"

Nina was silent, for some reason she felt sorry for begging like that. However, due to the urgency of circumstances, she had no choice.

"Okay, I understand. I will work at your house for one year."
