Chapter 82

It was hard, Aiden found it really hard to leave now. He had spent 15 minutes looking at the face in front of him. Nina smiled a little, knowing exactly what he was thinking. Although actually she feels Aiden is very excessive about this temporary separation. 

"Come on, how long are you going to stare at me like this?" Asked Nina who was getting tired of maintaining her sweet smile. 

"Is it wrong if I keep looking at you?" 

"No, but do you know what time it is yourself? If you don't go, you'll miss your flight!" 

"Leave it alone, I can catch up with them alone!" 

"No, you can't be like this. Better go now. Don't be like a child!" She said, tugging at the tip of Aiden's nose. 

"Okay, my dear! Um...you won't miss me if I go?" Once again, Aiden asked the same question just to confirm the feelings of this woman in front of his eyes. 

"No! Already, go away!" Nina opened Aiden's apartment door wide and acted like this was her home. 

"You kicked me out?" 

"Yes, go ahead and let me rule your house for a while, Sir!" 

"Tsk, you cruel woman!" 

"They picked you up, right?" 

"Yes, it looks like Chloe is already waiting in front. I'll go first! Bye, honey?" 

"See you! Be careful, okay? When you arrive, give me a call!" 

"Certainly!" 

Aiden walked over while pulling his suitcase. Realizing that he had already left and that annoying face of his wasn't there for a while, made Nina feel lonely. I don't know how long she missed him. 

Because for the next few days, Aiden wasn't home. That means she has the opportunity to relax in this luxurious apartment. 

"Hahaha...at least for a while I can relax like a rich person," she muttered while laughing slyly like a villain in a tv drama.

Just when Nina was able to relax a bit by laying her back on the sofa, the sound of the bell interrupted her enjoyment. 

"Who is it that came? How is it? Aiden isn't home, what should I say?" She thought. 

Having no choice, she decided to open the door and see who the guests were. 

"Who is it?" Before she finished her sentence, the face of the person she was afraid of appeared behind the door. Stare at her with hatred. 

"S-Samantha?" 

"You were surprised? Just as I thought, you're here!" 

"W-what are you doing?" 

"What are you doing? I should be the one asking that. What were you doing at someone else's lover's house? Was Aiden the friend you meant at that time?" She asked. Her eyes flashed sharply, showing an intimidating look. Nina swallowed hard, Samantha's face looked very scary, as if ready to pounce on her alive. 

Feeling cornered, Nina just looked down and didn't know what to say. What happened to her at this time was completely beyond her expectations, who knew Samantha would come so early just to make sure no other woman stayed at her lover's house last night? 

"I want to go in!" She said as she stepped forward and forced Nina to step aside and give her a way. 

"Aiden is gone?" 

"Yeah, he left about 20 minutes ago." 

"So you stayed here last night?" 

"T-that, I-" 

"Why are you so nervous? I asked you, did you stay here last night?" Samantha started to raise her voice and that made Nina even more scared. 

What can she say? although the answer was obvious, even Samantha would have guessed it. If you have this, she feels that she has become a bad woman who has an affair with someone else's lover. 

"Turns out he lied to me. You know? Last night when I forced him to stay the night, he refused with various reasons. I already suspected that he was hiding something behind my back, but I didn't expect you to be reckless too. Don't you know that now he and I have be lovers?" 

"I already know!" 

"So, why do you still dare to approach him?" 

"T-that's because, because-" 

"Because of what? You're saying because Aiden the one who wants you, is that it?" 

Nina couldn't answer "Yes" because she knew whatever she was going to say would only be a defense for Samantha. 

Samantha took a deep breath and exhaled slowly, what she was experiencing right now was driving her almost crazy. For the first time in her life, she loved someone who didn't love her. 

"I think you've really picked up the wrong opponent, I'm sure you don't really know who I am, do you?" 

Nina still didn't budge, she couldn't even lift her face. She didn't have the courage to fight someone she clearly couldn't fight. Until finally, she felt that what happened between her and Aiden was a mistake. 

"What did you guys do last night? Answer me, what did you guys do last night?" She shouted. Her arrogance was mounting. 

"Why are you silent? You slept with him? Right? Why don't you just say it clearly, because I already know!" 

"If you already know, why are you still asking?" 

"What? What did you just say?" 

"Did you think yelling at me like that would make me scared of you?" 

"Wow well, why have you been keeping your rotten mouth shut? Have you finally got the courage?" 

"Now Aiden isn't home and asked me to look after his house while he's not around. Since you don't have any business here anymore, you can leave now!" 

"What? Who are you to tell me to go?" 

"I'm just a maid in this house. I'm in charge of cleaning the house, washing clothes and cooking. I'm just a worker that he pays for that!" 

"Are you kidding me? Hahaha...what nonsense now?" 

"It's up to you whether you want to believe it or not! You can ask your boyfriend directly why I was in his house!" Nina said loudly. 

Samantha was taken aback, although she didn't want to believe it, but seeing Nina's serious expression made her curious, was what she told her true? 

"Is that so? Fine, even though I don't believe what you're saying. Today I'll let you off the hook, but you have to remember one thing. I'm not going to make your life easy, I won't!" She said as she walked away leaving Nina who stood rooted to her spot. 

After making sure Samantha was really gone, Nina immediately sat down on the couch with her heart beating fast. Nina feels herself trapped in a difficult situation and stupidly admits that she works at Aiden's apartment. 

"How is this? Stupid! Why did I confess to her?" She muttered while pulling her hair in frustration. 

Her mind immediately went to Aiden, the person who would be in big trouble because of her stupidity. If Aiden wasn't a famous super model that many women are crazy about, maybe it wouldn't be a problem. But the fact is, whatever happens to that man will definitely bring gossip that will inevitably affect his life and career. 

"Aiden, I'm sorry!"
