Chapter 81

"Nina, are you asleep?" Aiden raised his head to approach Nina who looked asleep. 

Nina didn't answer, making him wonder if this woman was really asleep and just ignored him without saying good night after what they had done. 

"You really sleep, huh?" 

"What's wrong? I'm already sleepy!" 

"You want to sleep just like that without hugging me?" Aiden who didn't accept it, immediately pressed his forehead to Nina's forehead in a spoiled manner. 

"Okay, good night?" Nina said with closed eyes. She couldn't hold back her drowsiness anymore. 

"Good night, honey? Sweet dreams!" Aiden smiled, it seemed he should end this beautiful night by letting Nina sleep first. 

After making sure the woman was really asleep, he got up and walked towards the toilet to clean himself. After he had had enough, Aiden stepped back into the kitchen looking for a can of cold drink to refresh his body which had been constantly heating up since the game started. 

Aiden took a sip of soda as he looked at his cell phone lying on the sofa. That bad feeling came back, he immediately opened his cellphone and sure enough, there were 30 missed calls from 3 different women and Cindy was one of them. 

"They call me alternately? What's going on?" He thought. This was really a coincidence, how could these three women intend to contact him at the same time, 

If it was Samantha, he wouldn't be too surprised, because ever since they had a one-sided relationship, Samantha contacted him almost every time. Although most of the calls from her were deliberately ignored by him. But Emily? You could say, the woman rarely contacted him even him felt the distance between them was very large and the current relationship was nothing more than just a colleague. 

Cindy, yes, a childhood friend who a few days ago Aiden saved from a stalker, a few minutes ago contacted him even if only once. If it was Cindy, he was worried because he was afraid something bad would happen to her again. 

"Hello, Cindy? Did you call me earlier? Is there a problem?" He asked frantically. 

"No, Aiden. I'm fine. I suddenly wanted to call you, but because you didn't pick up, I thought you were asleep. I'm sorry, Ok?" 

"You don't need to apologize. It's already two o'clock, but I'm not too sleepy yet. Why aren't you asleep yet?" 

"I can't sleep, that's why I wanted to talk to you." 

"Is that so? All right, just talk. I'll listen!" 

"Hahahaha...if you ask me that, I don't know what to say. Erm...how is your job?" 

"Okay, I'm doing well. Tomorrow I'm going to Paris!" 

"Is that true?" 

"Yes, there are photo shoots and fashion shows scheduled there. So it looks like we won't be able to chat like this for the next week." 

"It's okay. I understand, hope everything goes well!" 

"Thanks, but I'm getting worried about you. How's your apartment? Have they fixed the security system?" 

"Looks like it's done, the main elevator is also working properly. The co-worker who followed me has also been fired from the company and now he's been arrested!" 

"Thankfully then, at least for now he won't bother you anymore." 

"Yes and all because of you. I really thank you," 

"I told you there's no need to thank me. Maybe you should find a boyfriend who can take care of you, hahaha..." 

"Boyfriend?" 

"Yes, so you won't be lonely here. Maybe you should consider it!" Aiden said jokingly. But Cindy got carried away and thought Aiden was serious. 

"But right now I'm not interested in a man, so-' 

"I think you should try to open your heart, isn't there a nice guy in your office who catches your eye?" 

"Nothing-" Cindy said. For some reason her heart was beating fast, there was a strange feeling that filled her soul. 

In contrast to Aiden, who sounded relaxed when talking about this matter, Cindy actually felt very nervous and uneasy. Ever since Aiden had helped her that night, her feelings for him had immediately changed. It's no longer the feelings of a childhood friend, but the feelings of a woman for a man. 

"Is that so? But there are a lot of people who like you, right? Since you were young you've been very popular with boys, hahaha...sorry I talked so much!" 

"It's okay, Aiden. I just feel-" 

"What?" 

"N-no, I mean, I'm not that popular. It's you who's really popular right now!" 

"You're mocking me, huh?" 

"N-no, I-" 

"You're so funny, Cindy. Yes, but thank goodness you're okay. I hope you enjoy your stay in New York and I hope you find the right guy soon." 

"Yeah, thank you, Aiden." 

"Okay, I'm sleepy. Then, bye?" 

"Bye, Aiden. Good night?" 

"Good night." Aiden ended the call while taking a deep breath. 

After talking to Cindy, he was wondering if he should also contact Samantha. But, given her current state, it seemed impossible to talk to her. Because he can sense that eventually they're just going to argue and that could ruin a beautiful night. 

Meanwhile, a few moments after Aiden's voice was no longer heard. Surprisingly, Cindy could still hear the sound of her heart beating fast as if it was about to jump out of her body. 

She knew exactly what feelings she was feeling right now. A feeling that is very clear as a feeling of love. She didn't expect that her heart, which had been empty for a long time, would finally be filled by a childhood friend. 

"Am I really in love with him?"

"Aiden, come on get up! Don't you have to leave at 10am? Come on, get up!" Nina said while shaking Aiden's body which was still covered by the blanket. 

Even though his eyes were still sleepy, Aiden had no choice but to force his eyes open and see the face of an angel in front of him. 

"Good morning, my dear?" He smiled gently, it was truly a beautiful morning as the sun shone on his lover's face. 

"Morning, come on get up! I've made breakfast. You have to leave early, right?" 

"Yes, what did you cook for me?" 

"Pancakes with maple syrup and a cup of coffee. So come on, get up, take a shower and eat your breakfast!" 

"You're just like my wife, how about we get married?" 

"No kidding, Aiden!" 

"I'm not kidding, I'm serious. We'd better get married so I can hear your annoying voice every morning." 

"Hmm...is that so? Maybe I'll consider it. But now, hurry up! I want to tidy up her bed!" Nina said while pulling the blanket that covered Aiden's body forcibly. 

Nina was shocked, seeing something tense in Aiden's body which he casually showed off without feeling guilty. 

"What the hell? It's still early, why is it like that?" She asked with shame. 

"It's a natural symptom, almost all men experience it. You don't mean to make her weak, my dear? You know what? This is like every couple's morning exercise!" 

"We don't have time, Aiden. It's already 7:30, so you-" 

Before Nina finished her sentence, Aiden immediately pulled her into his arms and gave her a touch to start this beautiful day. 

"I only need 30 minutes!" 

"Too long!" 

"No, that's just right! We can't be like this for the next few days. So let me taste it!" He whispered. The look in his eyes changed, the drowsiness he previously felt, disappeared in an instant. 

Nina knew she couldn't possibly refuse this man, it felt like her body and soul had been controlled by Aiden. She can only surrender and accept every touch that Aiden gives. 

"Okay, no more than 30 minutes, ok?" 

"Ok!"
