"Nina, excuse me! See you?

"Ah...yes, see you!" 

Cindy waved her hand, before finally walking away towards the other side of the street. Nina was silent while looking at Cindy's back which slowly disappeared. 

"Haaah..." Nina took a deep breath and let it out slowly. 

This 17 minute conversation really opened her eyes about many things she didn't know. Nina sat back down on the park bench, it felt like her legs were still reluctant to take another step. 

What is Aiden actually hiding from her? And does she have the right to know everything? Aiden's life, his past, his fears and his sorrows. Does she really have the right to know? 

"Who am I to him?" She thought. This was stupidity that really made her sick of herself. Not because of her refusal, but because of her true intentions.

"Have you fed Squishy yet?" 

"Okay, what else?" 

"Don't forget to give him snacks and comb his fur. Oh yeah, don't let his fur scatter on the carpet, clean it right away!"

"What? VCS? Uhm...that's fine, hahaha..." Aiden laughed with a blush. Because suddenly Nina brought it up, Aiden wanted it too.

"Why not? You were the one who offered it to me!" 

"I'm just kidding. Did today's shoot go well?" 

"Yes, today was smooth." 

"What are you doing?" 

"Thinking of you." 

"Why? Does that make you happy?" 

"I was wondering if you did a good job of cleaning my house!" 

"Hahaha...you know? Now your house is like a big trash can. I collect a lot of used bottles and trash!" 

"Hey, you're kidding, right?" 

"No! I'll see when you get home." 

"Just watch out for you okay?" 

"Why? Angry? if you're angry, come home quickly!" 

"Go home? Do you want me to go home now?"

"Not yet, actually I don't have any money to buy food. So, maybe today I won't eat," she said slyly. Nina detected Aiden's weakness and immediately took advantage of the opportunity. 

"Are you that poor so you don't even have money to buy food? Don't joke!" 

"It can't be helped? I'm just a poor overseas student, not the heir of the biggest construction company. So naturally I don't have any money!" 

"What is she talking about?" Aiden thought. His soul felt uneasy, as if there was something that Nina was hiding from him. 

"You really don't have any money?" 

"Just one dollar, not enough to buy food!" 

"Okay, instead of you starving to death at my house and just making a fuss. I'll transfer the money to your bank account, buy some good food. Do you understand?"

With his generosity or stupidity, which doesn't stop him from being manipulated by the banana girl, Aiden sends a sum of money that is enough to fill Nina's stomach for the next month. 

After transferring the money, Aiden immediately sent a message to Nina which he hoped would make the poor woman feel happy once in a while. 

"I already transferred, buy good food and drinks. Remember, don't be wasteful!" He wrote in his message. 

Nina smiled broadly, this is what is called luck. Some time ago, she felt guilty and regretful that she had taken advantage of Aiden. But now, the regret is gone without a trace. She thought, maybe there's nothing wrong with her playing a side character for this story as long as she can make a big profit.
