Chapter 42

"Okay, then I'll go home!" Said Aiden who was still in an authoritative fashion in front of Samantha. Meanwhile, Chloe couldn't help but laugh at Aiden who was different from usual. 

"Okay, I also still have work. So, you guys will go home together?" Samantha immediately glanced at Emily who was standing behind Aiden. 

"Yeah, uhm...all right, bye?" 

"See you soon, Aiden. Be careful on the road!" 

"Chloe, I'm home, okay?" 

"Yeah, be careful okay?" 

"It's obvious that he has a crush on Samantha," Chloe thought. 

When Aiden's car drove away, Emily who was still burning with jealousy, tried hard to think of how to get Aiden's attention again. 

"Aiden!" 

"Ya?" 

"Can I visit your apartment?" 

"Visiting for what?" 

"Yeah to talk and-" 

"We can talk now, though I'm not sure if there's anything we need to talk about." 

"Why do you think that? What do you think, I'm a boring person so there's nothing interesting to talk about with me!" 

"It's not like that, it's just that you know yourself, when we're together like this we don't have anything to talk about. So even visiting my house won't do any good." 

"That's what you think. We're like this because it's awkward, considering what happened in the past. But I think we can fix everything. Well, at least we can still be friends and-" 

"You want us to be friends?" 

"Yes, of course!" 

"Okay, we are friends and nothing more. So, I hope you don't have to feel jealous of the women I'm close with!" 

"Sounds like you've got a big head, Aiden. Just because you've changed now doesn't mean it's going to change everything about you. You're still the old Aiden, that's all I know!" 

"You're right, I'm still the Aiden I used to be. A shy guy who doesn't get along well, friendless and aloof, a target for bullies and a crappy guy who doesn't know how to show his feelings to the girl he loved. You're right, I'm still the old Aiden!" 

"You're still mad at me? Aiden, I'd have explained everything if I had to-" 

"I know, I know Emily. You had to end a relationship with a loser like me and date the cool and super rich, Anthony. I know, you don't have to explain it to me anymore!" 

"Is that why you changed like this?" 

"Changed?" 

"Yes, is it because of the pain of parting with me that you have changed so far? You want to repay everything I did to make me regret, is that right?" She asked. Hearing her question, Aiden had to pull over to the side of the road and stop the car. 

"No! I don't want to repay you at all, Emily. In fact, you have made me realize that I am valuable. I deserve to be accepted and loved, therefore I must try to be better. I have absolutely no intention of repaying you, nor have I ever hate you. I should be thanking you, I'm very grateful. Because of our separation that has brought me to this place!" Aiden said firmly. He went back to driving his car without saying anything else until he reached the apartment. 

"I'm not giving up, Aiden! I'm not giving up. I'll make you love me again, I swear, I won't let you go!"

Aiden sighed as he tugged at the knob of his apartment door. The look in Emily's eyes and the words that came out of her mouth made Aiden realize one thing, it was Emily's ambition that had destroyed their relationship before. 

"I am home-" 

Meow... 

Squishy greeted at the door as usual. 

"Hello my dear, how is our house? is it safe?" 

Meow... 

"Why? Where is our new maid? Did she do a good job?" 

Meow... 

Squishy didn't usually meow a lot like this. Aiden knows exactly, this cat meows very rarely. If it came to this, it meant that something had happened in this house. 

"That idiot must be-" annoyed, he immediately stepped into the living room, looking for Nina's whereabouts whose voice was not heard. 

"Nina, where are you?" Aiden shouted arrogantly, like a cold-hearted arrogant young master.

Since Nina didn't answer, Aiden felt suspicious. Moreover, on the table was Nina's bag, it was impossible for her to go home without her bag. 

"Nina, where are you?" 

Grookkk...grookk...grookkk... 

A snoring sound came from the direction of his room. Instantly, Aiden's emotions rose to a head. 

Aiden went straight to his room and found Nina fast asleep on his bed. Aiden was mad, really mad. Usually this woman comes in and sleeps in the room as he pleases. Not to mention the drool running down her cheeks and sticking to Aiden's pillow. 

"Wake up...! Wake up...!" He shouted. 

"Huh? W-what? What happened? Fire? Earthquake? Thief?" Nina who was surprised, immediately woke up and raised her head with half-closed eyes. 

"How dare you…?" Aiden glared at her with a hideous face. Realizing that she was in big trouble, Nina immediately got up and tried to escape. 

"Help...!"

Aiden immediately grabbed Nina's shirt by the back of her neck to prevent her from escaping. 

"Where are you going, huh? Where are you going? How dare-" 

"I'm sorry, Aiden! I can explain, I'm sorry...!" Nina immediately knelt down and begged for Aiden's mercy to forgive her impudence. 

"I warned you, don't come into my room! Why don't you ever listen to other people? Always go easy on yourself!" 

"I'm sorry, Aiden. Earlier I saw your bedroom door wasn't closed, then Squidward came in-" 

"Squidwards? Squishy...!" 

"Y-yeah, Squishy came in and because I wanted to close the door, I asked him to come out, but he wouldn't listen to me. So I had to go in to take him out, then I saw your bed looks very comfortable and I tried for a while, it was-" 

"It turns out you overslept, is that so?" 

"Hehe..." 

"Ah... you! Can't you just don't cause trouble for once? Always pissing other people off. Never mind, replace the sheet with a new one. My pillow got caught in your saliva!" 

"Just a little bit, Aiden?" 

"It's the same! already, change the sheet and wash it now!" 

"Okay, okay...!" Nina immediately carried out the order with a sense of relief. Meanwhile, Aiden who was tired and wanted to rest, had to wait for the banana girl to change his bed sheets. 

Seeing Nina like that, suddenly a mischievous plan appeared in Aiden's head. The desire to get back at Nina, who always did whatever she wanted, made Aiden want to know what her reaction would be if he did something he couldn't imagine. 

He felt embarrassed, he had never done something stupid like this before. However, there's nothing wrong with trying to be naughty, even if it's just pretending.

Aiden grabbed her hand and pushed her down on the bed. 

"A-Aiden? W-what are you doing?" 

"Shut up!" Aiden immediately fell on Nina, bringing his face closer so that he was only five centimeters away. 

"Aiden, you-" 

"You know how dangerous it is to walk into the men's room and fall asleep without any defense?" 

"I thought, you-" 

"What? You think I won't think about you?" 

"I-I..." 

"I'm a man and we all want the same thing. Plus, you look quite pretty. How about we do it together?" 

"Do what?" 

"You know what I mean, besides you've seen mine before, right?" 

"Aiden, is he serious? How is this? Do I have to do that with him? Ouch...but I'm not ready yet. But it's okay, after that I'll ask for payment! Agh... I'm so crazy!" She thought. 

"What am I doing? Why do I have to do this? I'm stupid, I'm so stupid!" Aiden thought. Suddenly, an attack of embarrassment appeared slowly, spreading from the tips of his feet to reach his face. 

Nina closed her eyes and slowly pursed her lips forward. Aiden was silent, his face felt hot and he knew what was going to happen next. 

"Okay, I'm ready!" Nina said with her lips that were already forward. 

"S-stupid...! What are you doing? You crazy woman!"
