Chapter 58

Happy? Hearing that word made Aiden stunned, especially Nina's face which turned red even though she had tried to hide it by looking down and looking away from Aiden. 

Aiden is confused with himself, he knows that the happiness they feel is not wrong or artificial, because what they feel is extraordinary. 

Nina got up after realizing that she couldn't stay here any longer and let her feelings get carried away. She has absolutely no intention of falling in love with anyone here, the relationship she has in mind is only for her money. 

But, if until her feelings really fall. This will only make it more difficult for herself because she knows that after graduating from college, she will return to Indonesia and find a good job to continue her life. 

"You still want to go home?" Aiden immediately held Nina's hand while showing her innocent look. 

"I already told you, I want to go home! Tomorrow I will come to work as usual!" 

"I want you to accompany me tonight, stay with me!" He asked. If you continue to receive attacks of pitiful stares repeatedly, Nina will falter and this cannot be allowed. 

"Okay, I'll wait for you to finish bathing. After that, take me home!" 

"I'll drive you home tomorrow morning, you understand?" 

"Actually, what's wrong with you? Why are you being sweet to me?" 

Aiden chuckled and immediately got up from his bed, showing his clean body without a single thread confidently in front of this woman. 

He pulled Nina's hand and held her body very tightly. Nina flinched, Aiden's embrace made her feel tight. The look in his eyes and his voice as he spoke all changed. Yes, not like the usual Aiden.

"You ask why I'm being sweet to you? I think you already know the answer!" 

"Aiden, remember, the woman you want is Samantha, not me, so-"

"You're right, but unfortunately I don't have the courage to act like this in front of her. So, consider this as practice so that one day I can become a more aggressive man!" 

"Practice? Do you want-" Aiden quickly landed a more aggressive kiss. He felt a madness that made him unable to withstand the turmoil. As if there is a wild side that is preparing to come out in him. 

It's the same with Nina who was determined to avoid Aiden's attack after what they did a few hours ago. However, every time he dealt an attack, Nina always took the attack and countered. 

The passion was revived, Aiden and Nina felt they had lost their minds. If they want to admit that they have the same interests, maybe they don't need to feel that dilemma. 

"Don't tell me you want to do it again? It was three times already, Aiden-"

"You counted it?" 

"Of course!" 

"Fine, if you don't want it anymore. I'll just take a shower, you can wait. I'll take you home!" Aiden said as he released his hug. 

"You're mad?" 

"Angry? No! I have no right to be angry with you." 

"So?" 

"Nothing, wait for me!" Aiden stepped into the bathroom with a strange feeling of disappointment. If it was a normal Aiden, it would be very embarrassing for a woman to reject him like that. 

But since that woman was Nina the banana girl, Aiden tried to think of other reasons why Nina rejected him. Like, because she felt too tired or unable to keep up with Aiden, who wouldn't stop until she had no strength left. 

Aiden was trying to sober himself up after hours of being consumed by a passion he had absolutely no control over. Where is he who always feels uncomfortable every time he makes physical touch with women? Where would he hide his reddened face from embarrassment if he accidentally had a dirty thought? 

He felt that there was something different about him and that made it hard for him to believe it, because he had absolutely no regrets about what had happened. 

When finished, he stepped out of the bathroom and saw the condition of the bed which was neat again, after it had been messy because of their crazy action. 

He came out of his room to make sure that Nina was still waiting for him like he wanted. 

"Nina!" Aiden shouted looking for the whereabouts of the banana girl who had changed his life 180 degrees. 

Meow...

Instead of Nina, Squishy approached him instead. Seeing no sign of Nina in this room, Aiden immediately panicked. 

"Nina...!" 

"What's wrong? I'm here!" Nina said who turned out to be on the balcony. 

"What are you doing here?" 

"You asked me to wait for you, right? So I'm waiting for you here with Squidward-"

"Squishy! You keep saying his name wrong, huh?" 

"Hahahaha...sorry, don't be so angry! Hey, why aren't you wearing clothes? You're not cold?" 

"Because you weren't there, I immediately looked for you! If you were home earlier, you would have-" 

"I'm not going anywhere, if you ask me to wait for you, I will definitely do it!" She said with a gentle smile. Aiden was stunned, for a moment, he could feel his heart beating faster. 

"Is that true?" 

"Yeah, because it's better to go by your car than having to wait for a taxi and spending money too, hahaha...if there's something free why do you have to pay?" Nina said with a chuckle. Aiden who was carried away, was annoyed to hear what he said. 

"Is that so? I thought you really wanted to wait for me earlier!" 

"Why should I wait for you?" 

"Because I want it!" Aiden showed a very deep and serious look, making Nina feel that something was different about him. 

"Aiden, the wind is strong, aren't you cold?" She asked who tried to change the subject. 

"No, not at all. Instead I feel very hot!" 

"Is that true?" 

"Can I hug you?" 

"H-hugging me?" 

"Yes, may I?" 

"A-alright, of course!" Before Nina finished speaking, Aiden immediately grabbed Nina's hand and hugged her body tightly. 

Comfortable, quiet and very peaceful. That was how he felt, this woman's embrace was like medicine for him. For so many years of living under pretense, it wasn't easy. The pain from past memories that made he feel unwanted by anyone slowly disappeared. 

"Please don't be like this, Aiden! If you keep on like this, I will fall in love with you later," she thought. 

That's what she is afraid of, falling in love with someone she can't have. This kind of feeling she always avoided in her life. The hug lasted for ten minutes, Aiden really enjoyed it. It's hard to let go of this warmth. 

"Oh yeah, how about I help you so you can get closer to Samantha?" She asked. Aiden was shocked, talking about other people at a time like this made him feel very irritated. 

"Why?" 

"Why what?" 

"Why are you that good? I've even forgotten everything by now!" 

"I just- I just feel like you suit her really well. You're very handsome and Samantha is a beautiful and elegant woman, so-"

"How about you just be my girlfriend?" 

"W-what? What did you say?" 

"I've given my first experience to you. So it has to be you, not another woman!" 

Nina was speechless, how could things change in such a short amount of time? To be Aiden's lover? Nina never thought this would happen in her life. It turns out that scenes in romantic novels can sometimes happen in real life. 

"Aiden, you're kidding, right? Have you forgotten? It's me, Mr Banana, the girl who's been keeping you busy for weeks. You've got to be kidding, Aiden!" 

"Do you want it or not? Don't change the subject!" 

"Are you begging or forcing?" 

"I insist!" 

"But-' 

"I'm in love with you and I want you now. Is that still unclear?" 

"Love? Y-you love me?" 

"Yes, if you want. I'll introduce you to my mom. If she finds out I already have a girlfriend, then my mom won't worry too much." 

Because Aiden said it so easily, it made she feel that Aiden was playing a trick on her. It seemed impossible that someone's feelings would instantly change like this. 

"I think you're wrong, just because we did. It doesn't mean we love each other, I-"

"You want to reject me?" 

"That's not it, Aiden. I-"

"You reject me?" 

"No, I just-"

"You will regret it! because I won't ask twice. So tell me, what's your answer?" 

"At least give me time to think, Aiden!" 

"I want the answer now! You want to reject me? You-" Aiden who was carried away hugged her again and kissed her lips aggressively. It's a mind game, Aiden not wanting to be rejected, tries to force it with touch. 

"Aiden, I-I'm sorry, I'm really sorry. I have to go home!" Nina immediately let go of Aiden's embrace and walked away after saying a sentence that made him freeze in place. 

What does rejection mean? Aiden was ashamed of himself for treating Nina so badly. Aiden felt himself being too aggressive, like a jerk just because he wanted to be. Confidence because he felt that no woman would reject him, made his inferiority complex that he had buried for years come back. 

He felt very hurt because he realized, that he fell in love. But instead, the story he hoped would be different from the previous story. In the end, it will only make him even more distrustful that true love really exists. 

"I really fell in love with you, was that a mistake?"
