Chapter 79

The chubby teenager stood up wearing the blue shirt he bought with his mother yesterday. He had been waiting for this day to come, the day when he would live his teenage years full of love, just like everyone else. 

He never felt that his life was running normally since he was born into the world. Having a father who is very strict and ambitious, a figure who encourages him to grow as a man just like himself. Men who treat women are beneath them, men who are arrogant and think that women do not have the same rights. 

Yes, the chubby, weak-hearted boy who is always afraid to make decisions because he doesn't want to hurt other people's hearts, especially a woman. 

"When you grow up, you will be a useless useless man who will be enslaved by women! I don't feel like I have raised a child like you, embarrassing!" This sentence seemed to have been heard three times from the mouth of a man whom he called "Father" 

It was painful, very painful and she realized that she could not be someone that this man was proud of. He is just a teenager who recently turned 17 years old and what he likes is eating and spending time in his room. 

"Aiden, sorry I'm late! Have you been waiting long?" Exclaimed a beautiful brown-haired girl who walked up to him looking like a super model. 

The chubby young man smiled broadly, when this wingless angel who had stolen his attention actually came and was so sweet to him. 

"N-no, I just came too-" He answered nervously. Even though he had to lie because of the fact, he had been standing in front of this cinema since 53 minutes ago because he didn't want the girl he adored to feel guilty for making him wait. 

"Oh thank goodness, even though I thought you had come earlier, but it turns out you just came too. What movie are we going to watch then?" 

"Erm any movie is fine, what movie do you want to watch, Emy?" Aiden asked with a trembling body. Yes, this was her first date, something that was previously impossible for her to happen. 

"I like romantic movies, how about that one? Love Story, how about that?" She said, pointing to a romantic movie poster which contains a picture of a couple in love hugging. 

Aiden was stunned, how could a loser like himself watch a romantic movie like this with a girl as beautiful as Emily. He felt like he was dreaming, but if this really was a dream, he didn't want to wake up. 

"W-well, then let me buy the ticket!" Aiden said as he stepped towards the queue. 

"I'll buy a drink and popcorn, okay?" 

"Ah let me buy it later, you just wait on the chair!" 

"Don't be like that, Aiden. Let me buy it, okay?" Emily smiled sweetly and her beauty almost melted Aiden's body and soul. 

He felt very embarrassed, if only there was a mirror in front of him. Surely he would look in the mirror and see how red his face was right now. 

"Psssttt look at him, is that girl earlier his girlfriend? Crazy, why does that girl want to do that? Just be with me, hahaha... crazy, so fat!" Whispered the youths standing in group behind him. 

"Hey, don't speak out loud, he can hear! Maybe he has a lot of money, because of that someone wants him. Otherwise, who would want to date a boy like that?" 

Once again, Aiden was forced to hear such ridicule, even though he was used to it. However, this time, because the situation was different, the inferiority complex that he had struggled to suppress, returned to the surface. 

Aiden looked down, raised his head and he felt very embarrassed. Around him, not only were the group of youths looking at him with that gaze, there were even more people who were thinking the same thing when they saw Emily walking up to him with such joy. 

"Aiden, how's the ticket?" 

"Sure, I already bought it-" 

"Thank goodness, let's go in! The movie will start soon." 

"Oh ok!" Aiden walked with a downcast face, unlike Emily who kept smiling as she walked beside him, as if she didn't care what people thought of her. 

"Am I appropriate?"

"Aiden, hey, Aiden!" Nina patted Aiden's shoulder who didn't move for seven minutes. 

"Oh yes? What's wrong?" Asked Aiden spontaneously. 

"What's wrong? Didn't you want to watch a movie earlier? I want to ask, what movie do you want?" 

"It's up to you!" 

"Hah? What?" 

"I want to watch a horror movie!" 

"Horror movie? Even though my plan was for a comedy film." 

"No, just horror movies!" 

"You egotist, shouldn't you ask my opinion too?" 

"If you really want to watch a comedy, why are you asking my opinion?" 

"Because I respect you, it turns out you're being selfish-" 

"You're really complicated, aren't you? Come on, just a comedy!" 

"No need, just horror!" 

"What? You asked for comedy!" 

"Earlier you said you wanted to watch a horror film, so I have given in. Let's watch a horror film." 

"Give in? Even though you deliberately made me look like a selfish man, right?" 

"What do you really want? It's wrong to obey, it's wrong to deny it!" 

"Why was it me who was wrong? Tch, annoying! Well, it's up to you!" Already annoyed, Aiden went straight to the living room and sat down on the sofa, leaving Nina silent in front of the television. 

He took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. Today has been a really tiring day. In fact, he hopes to end today perfectly because tomorrow, he has to go abroad for a few days. But what he found was the opposite. 

"I'm really trash! Even though I was the one who asked her to wait for me, but I'm even angry at her because of trivial things like this. What kind of man am I?" He thought. 

Aiden got up and intended to correct his mistake by apologizing. While he was busy with his regrets, it seemed that Nina was also busy laughing in front of the television without caring about Aiden at all. 

"Ahahaha...bahaha...Mister Bean is the best!" Nina muttered while laughing out loud. 

She sat on the sofa while enjoying the snacks she bought at the convenience store casually. Meanwhile, Aiden was standing behind her with a bleary look. 

"Damn it! She doesn't care about me at all. Exactly what do I expect from her?" Aiden thought. 

"Ehem...ehem..." He started acting to seek attention by pretending to walk past the television. 

"Move! I want to watch!" 

"Hey whose house do you think this is? You just told me to get out of the way!" 

"Okay, I'll just go home!" 

"Whatever, please go home!" 

"Really? I'm really home you know!" 

"Just go home! You think I'll hold you?" 

Aiden acted like a kid which made Nina confused. It turned out that Aiden was very childish, far from the image he had built in front of the camera. 

She glanced at the clock on the wall, it was already 11:20 pm. It seemed impossible for her to return to her apartment this late. Even though she was sure that Aiden was just bullying her. 

"Okay, I'll go home first. Good night? Have a nice trip tomorrow!" She said as she walked away and took her bag on the table. 

"Tsk, you suck!" Aiden immediately caught up with Nina before she reached the door. 

"Sorry, I was just kidding. Let's watch the movie!" Aiden asked, just as he was holding Nina's hand tightly in front of the door. 

Nina looked at him who looked funny and it made him exasperated. Somehow, she liked this Aiden more and more. 

"Hahaha...are you worried? I'm also joking! Come on, let's watch the movie together?" 

"Yeah, after that huh?" 

"After that what?" 

"You want to pretend you forgot?" 

"No, I haven't forgotten. But, don't be too harsh, Okay?" 

"Okay!"
