Chapter 13

It's been 15 minutes since Aiden and Emily sat in the cafe, not a single topic of conversation popped into Aiden's head. It was awkward, that's how he felt. 

People say, men are creatures who can always open a chat to avoid an atmosphere like this. But Aiden different from most men. 

Closed and always comfortable with his solitude, although since becoming a model of such behavior has decreased a little, it still doesn't change many things in his life. 

"So, how are your mom and dad?" Finally, after 15 minutes of awkwardness, Aiden managed to find the first question that came to mind. 

"My dad is sick," 

"Really?" 

"Yes, my dad hasn't been doing much." 

"Your mom?" 

"My mom is good, Franz and Cecilia are also healthy." 

"Thank goodness. So, Anthony ? Are you still with him?" 

"No!" Emilys face turned sad, making Aiden think that something bad had happened to her. 

"No?" 

"Our engagement was called off, Anthony already has a new girlfriend." 

"Oh, I see ?" Aiden was silent for a moment, somehow the atmosphere became more awkward than before. It seems, this topic of conversation is very inappropriate. 

"It's okay, I'm sure you will find the right man!" 

"But, sadly I couldn't find it 

"You don't need to worry, someday you will find it." 

"Looks like this is my payback for wasting a man as good as you. God is punishing me and I feel very sorry for what I did before," 

"You don't need to remember it anymore, it's in the past." 

"I'm sorry, Aiden. I'm really sorry, I'm sorry-" Emily's voice trembled, holding back the tears that were almost flowing. 

"Don't cry! It's ok!" Was the line Aiden really wanted to say. Women's tears are his weakness and he really hates it whenever someone uses tears to deceive him. 

"You don't need to apologize, I've already forgiven you. So, let's just forget about it!" 

"No, Aiden! My mistake is unforgivable. I know the pain you feel at that time and I still ignored it, I'm sorry, Aiden!" Emily said, tears streaming down her beautiful face. 

People in the cafe start to pay attention to them, especially when Emily starts crying. Aiden's feelings are restless, because everyone must think that he has done something bad. 

"Emily, come on! Don't cry, I've forgiven you. Let's forget about it, ok?" Aiden immediately took a tissue and gave it to Emily. 

"You really have forgiven me? You don't hate me anymore?" 

"I never hated you, not at all!" 

"Can we- can we go back to how we used to be?" 

"Back to how it used to be? What do you mean?" 

"You and I are like before, we start all over again!" 

"I'm sorry, Emily. But to go back to how it used to be, I don't think that's possible." 

"Why? Has there been a woman who-" 

"No! The only special woman in my life is my mom. Right now, I'm enjoying my solitude and I feel very comfortable with it all." 

"But, don't you want to have a lover?" 

"I want to, but it seems I've learned from my experience. That a woman who is almost perfect can't always give you happiness. Maybe someday I will have a lover, get married, have children and I will make sure, she is the right woman to get my love. We'd better go back now, I think Chloe is done with her business!" Aiden said as he moved from his place to the cashier table. 

Emily looked at Aiden's back, the figure of the man that no one wanted the most, now transformed like a prince on a white horse. Tall, stout, sexy and handsome. Every time he walked, naturally people would glance at him in awe. 

"I swear, I will get you back, Aiden. No matter what, you will definitely be mine again!"

This morning the fashion show was held very lively, with dozens of well-known fashion brands and hundreds of models taking part in waddling on the catwalk stage, showing off the latest fashions in front of thousands of pairs of eyes in attendance. 

After the fashion show was finished, the models, famous designers and elite fashion officials left the building where the fashion show was held and walked the red carpet. Dozens of journalists, photographers and reporters were busy taking pictures and video interviews. 

Including Aiden as the figure who is the center of attention. His photogenic face makes photographers prefer to capture his pictures. Photographers and paparazzi continued to take pictures of Aiden with famous designers and other models. 

"Aiden...!" Chloe call him as she talking with Mr. Kevin Chamberlain, one of the famous designers. Chloe waved her hand as she asked Aiden to come over to her. 

"Yes?" 

"Aiden, you remember Mister Kevin, right? He came with his wife, Mrs Maria Chamberlain." 

"Of course!" Aiden smiled as Mister Chamberlain put his arm around him with a proud smile. 

"Aiden Supernova my son, you are truly extraordinary, great super model in the world!" Mister Chamberlain laughed happily to see Aiden who was now successful. 

Aiden became a model for clothes designed by Mister Chamberlain during his first modeling debut. 

"Thank you very much, Mister Chamberlain. You have been very helpful at the beginning of my career." 

"No, I'm not helping anything. You are indeed talented and have a very strong charisma. She's my wife, Maria Chamberlain!" 

"Hello Aiden, you are very handsome!" Mrs. Maria who was very elegant, immediately hugged Aiden. Behind her, her two beautiful daughters stood smiling looking at Aiden. 

"Aiden, they're both my daughters, Stephanie and Sofia!" 

"Stephanie, nice to meet you!" Said the young blonde girl as she stretched out her hand for a handshake. 

"Nice to meet you, Stepanie!" 

"Sofia, nice to meet you!" Said Sofia, a younger girl. 

"My daughters are huge fans of yours. Stephanie is 21 years old, currently attending New York University majoring in economics and Sofia just entered college last year at the Colombia University." 

"They are both so beautiful, just like their mom!" Aiden said who was quite an expert in compliments. 

"Wow... he's good at praising, isn't he?" Mrs. Maria and her two daughters smiled shyly. 

"My wife, Aiden is not just any young man. He graduated with a Masters in Aerospace Engineering at MIT." 

"Really? It's great! He's so handsome and smart too. Who's lucky woman who has his love?" 

"Hahahaha... Aiden, if you like. You can date one of our daughters. But remember, never play with my daughter!" 

"Hahahaha..." Hearing Mister Chamberlain's chatter can always make the atmosphere warmer because he is a family man who is known for being humorous. 

"Emily...!" Chloe who saw that Emily had just finished an interview, immediately called her. 

Emily picked up a red dress designed by a well-known designer that was very expensive and stepped carefully, because many people saw the dress she was wearing. 

"Emily, he is Mister Kevin Chamberlain and Mrs Maria Chamberlain, he is the designer and founder of Vinlayn!" 

"So beautiful woman! She's the rising British model, Emily Andersen, right?" Said Mister Chamberlain, pointing at Emily. 

"Yes, that's right!" 

"Wow... you're so beautiful."" 

"Your dress is also very pretty!" 

"The dress Emily wore was a Svetlana Logunova Design dress. It had very pretty rubies in the front." 

"Yes, a very beautiful dress, just like the one wearing it!" Mrs. Maria praised. 

About 20 meters from where the world's fashion elites gathered, a girl who came from a different world crossed a place where there were lots of cameras and famous people gathered. 

"What is going on over there ?" She thought with curiosity that entered her mind. 

The young woman was none other than Chistina Morales or better known as Mr. Banana stopping a man who had just stepped out of the crowd wanting to see the models and fashion elite come together. 

"Excuse me, what's going on there?" She asked. 

"Oh... there was a fashion show, but it looks like it's over." Replied the man. 

"Ok, thank you!" 

"Fashion show? I've never seen it in before. Uhm... what a coincidence. I'd better watch it for a while!" She muttered as she stepped towards the crowd of spectators who were seen jostling. 

"Excuse me! Sorry, excuse me, I'm going through!" She said, trying to squeeze her way through the crowd just for a quick peek. 

Bruuukk... 

Nina was pushed out. It turns out that it's not that easy to see a glimpse of the beauty of the world. 

"Damn really!" She thought angrily. 

She got up again with her chest puffed out like a gorilla about to go berserk, ready to break through the crowd of people who didn't even give her a chance to pass. 

"Excuse me! Sorry, sorry okay? I'm going through!" She shouted who acted even bolder by pushing the people standing in front of her. 

Bruuuk... 

She kept bumping into the people she passed. 

"Hey, what are you doing?" Shouted a she hit. 

"I'm sorry, I just want to take a quick look! Let me take a quick peek!" 

"You are-" Said an annoyed man. Nina was right at the guardrail that they were not allowed to cross. 

"S-sorry, I- 

Bruuuk... 

The man pushed her so hard that she hit the guardrail. 

"W-wait a minute! D-don't push-" 

Braaak... 

Nina fell down right in front of Emily who was talking. 

"Aaargh..." 

Sreeekkk... 

Nina who intended to hold her body by grabbing whatever was in front of her, accidentally pulled the dress that Emily was wearing, tearing it apart. 

"Kyaaaa..."  Emily screamed hysterically when her bottom dress came off. 

"I'm going to die!" Nina muttered in panic. 

"What's going on? What happened?" Everyone who heard the commotion immediately noticed the figure of the woman who had fallen to her knees in an embarrassing pose and both hands tightly gripped a red dress decorated with very expensive rubies. 

Aiden who was standing near Emily, immediately took off his suit to cover Renata's back. 

"Ouch...it hurts..." Nina winced. She didn't realize that everyone had gathered to stare at her, including Aiden. 

"You?" Nina and Aiden looked at each other saying the same words. 

Aiden couldn't believe it, the figure of the 'Trouble maker' had destroyed the event in front of hundreds or even thousands of watching eyes, not to mention the paparazzi cameras that immediately captured this embarrassing moment. 

Aiden smiled, for some reason he felt happy to see Mr. Banana who had gotten into big trouble. 

"You're done."
