Chapter 66

What makes your life feel more special? for me, that is when I wake up next to you, see the sun rise on your face and know that I can say, I love you. 

"Aiden, wake up!" Nina's voice sounded softer than before. Aiden who initially felt that he was trapped in a long dream, began to realize that everything he was facing was reality. 

"Hmm? What time is it?" He muttered who was still half conscious. 

"It's 8.30, I'm going home. I've prepared your breakfast!" 

"You want to go home?" 

"Yeah, I have work at 10. So I have to go home now!" 

"Want me to take you?" 

"No need, I'll just go home alone!" 

"Why? Are you trying to avoid me again? Am I upsetting you?" 

"No, it's not like that. I just don't have time to wait for you anymore!" 

"Is that so? How cruel! Alright, go away!" Aiden said in a sullen mode while tilting his body. 

"Well that's that then-" 

"Hey, you really don't want to be escorted?" 

"You just got out of bed, not to mention having to take a shower, have breakfast. It will take up a lot of time." 

"Yeah, well you'll come again, right?" 

"I don't know, I have a lot of assignments. So I guess finishing them takes a lot of time. I skipped work today!" 

"What? Who said you can skip class?" 

"Just for today, I usually don't have a day off either. So today I skipped!" 

"Tsk, you can arrange it as you please, just don't do it!" 

"You really don't have any sense, do you? Whatever, anyway, today I'm not coming. Bye!" Nina said while walking quickly out of the room. 

Aiden who panicked immediately got up from his bed and moved quickly to catch up with Nina regardless of his condition without a single thread covering his beautiful body. 

"Hey wait a minute...!" Aiden shouted who nimbly pulled Nina's hand. 

"What's wrong? Are you trying to block me again? I want to take the day off from cleaning your house. Everywhere people work they have a day off!" 

"What if I miss you?" 

"W-what? Miss me?" Hearing Aiden's sweet words immediately made Nina confused and embarrassed herself. Moreover, Aiden said it while showing his adorable pitiful gaze. 

"B-but, we only didn't see each other one day, right? Tomorrow I'll be back to work as usual." 

"Tomorrow I have work and maybe I'll be busy again. I'm afraid we won't see each other often." 

"You've been so busy you haven't come home, have you?" 

"Yeah could be. Next week, there's a photo shoot in Paris and I won't be home for four or five days." 

Nina was silent, it seemed that this time it was she who felt sad to hear that Aiden would rarely come home because of his work. Their habit of meeting almost every day made them get used to all kinds of arguments and small fights between them. If suddenly the habit changes, for some reason it makes them feel worried. 

"Well then, what else do you want?" Nina said who lost her spirit. 

"If I don't come home for a few days, you don't miss me?" 

"Aiden, there are plenty of couples out there who are going through this. Some have even been forced apart for months or even years because of school or work. So a few days apart shouldn't be a problem for us." 

"Really? That means you think of me as your partner?" 

"What?" 

"You said earlier, there are many couples who experience it. That means, you are starting to admit that I am your lover. Right?" 

"You are Samantha's boyfriend! We don't have that kind of relationship!" 

"Okay, then, what is our relationship?" Aiden smiled and stifled his laughter every time he saw Nina's nervous reaction. 

"W-we're friends-" 

"Friends? Do you think the friends will sleep together like we did?" 

"No, our relationship is just that of a cruel master and a poor maid. Yes, it's like that!" 

"Hahaha...cruel master and poor maid huh? Very interesting! Alright, I think I'm interested in the new title you made. I hope the story will be interesting!" 

"It's not for me to decide!" 

"Then, who?" 

"Yeah, who else? How would I know-" 

"Then, sleeping together is a service you provide to your master? Isn't it because you have feelings for him?" 

"I think you already know the answer, you're the one who locked the door and forced me to serve your madness until I find it hard to get my feet together!" 

"Hahaha... really? To that extent?" 

"Don't play dumb, Aiden! The point is I don't want to anymore!" 

"Why? You're not enjoying it?" 

"N-no, I just-" 

"So?" 

"I just can't take five rounds! Never mind, I want to go home now. Bye!" 

"Hahaha... wait a minute, you can't go yet!" 

"What else?" 

"So, you don't want anymore?" Aiden held back a smile while holding Nina's hand. Aiden's sweet and slightly annoying attitude like this only makes Nina's heart flutter. To her, this was very upsetting, because now she loved this man so much. 

"Who says I don't want to! It's just that you're too strong, so I-", 

"Don't women like strong ones?" 

"That's true, but maybe you're right. I don't often do sports and I'm also tired because I have to clean your house. So I'm exhausted for that, because of that..." 

"Hahahaha..." 

"Why do you keep laughing? What's so funny?" 

"Your shy face looks so cute, I like it." 

Nina increasingly shy and embarrassing. Aiden who annoys her more and more like this, will only make her miss him even more if he's not with her. 

"You really don't want to wait for me?" 

"I'm in a hurry." 

"Okay wait a minute!" Aiden said as he stepped towards the table in his room and took his leather wallet. 

He took out some money and walked back to Nina who was standing confused at the door of the room. 

"You always complain you don't have money for taxi fare, right? Then use this money!" He said as he handed 200 dollars into her hands. 

"That's a lot, taxi fare isn't this much!" 

"Why are you protesting? Usually you will say that the money is not enough and ask for more!" 

"Yes, I accept. Thank you very much, Mr Aiden. Excuse me? I have breakfast ready on the table, don't forget to eat it!" 

"Wait a minute!" 

"What?" 

"You haven't forgotten anything?" 

"Forget what?" 

"Are you sure you haven't forgotten something?" Aiden asked. Nina again remembers whether any of her belongings were left behind. But apparently, there isn't. 

Seeing Nina deep in thought made Aiden impatient and immediately pulled Nina into his arms. Aiden who already knew what he wanted, immediately planted his lips on Nina's lip and did it gently. 

"I love you," he whispered. He hugged her tightly to feel her warmth longer. 

Nina nodded with a small smile. I don't know why this feels so good. Having someone who always thinks and misses you more than anything. 

"I love you too."

Even though Aiden was no longer in front of her, the flutter that her had felt a few minutes ago had not disappeared. A warm, gentle and sweet person, to her, that's what Aiden is now. 

She gets into the lonely elevator, still with beautiful thoughts of the strange relationship she and Aiden have. It feels like a cruel person because Nina knows, that Samantha is Aiden's real lover. 

Tin... 

The elevator door opened. Five meters in front of the elevator, she saw Samantha walk through the door and seemed to be heading for the elevator she was taking. 

"Samantha? H-how is this?" She muttered panicked. 

If Samantha saw she was here in the same apartment building Aiden lived in. Nina will definitely be in big trouble because she broke her promise to that woman about feelings she shouldn't have. 

Nina quickly pressed the elevator button to close it again and took her to any floor as long as she could avoid that unexpected encounter. 

"What is she doing here? Does she know Aiden lives in this apartment?"
