Chapter 55

Aiden glanced at the two women who were suddenly familiar, even though a few minutes ago, they seemed to be arguing with each other. Something was off, he thought. 

After the photo shoot was over, Samantha immediately approached Aiden before Emily stole another chance. Aiden started to feel a strange atmosphere and it made him feel uncomfortable. 

"You have other plans today?" She asked. 

"No, but today I'm a little tired. So, I want to go home and get some rest!" He answered while putting his shirt back on. 

"Is that so? Not to date Nina again?" Samantha walked slowly over to him and stared at him intently. 

"No!" 

"Okay, how about we go out together next time?" 

"Yes, sure!" 

"Then, you better think about it as soon as possible, because I don't like to wait!" Samantha left after dying. The hard code made Aiden realize that there was something Samantha wanted to show him, namely about her feelings. 

Aiden suppressed a smile, this was weird. Even though he hasn't tried to approach Samantha at all like a man who is interested in a woman. He hadn't done anything yet, but Samantha was doing what he should have been doing. 

Aiden came out of the locker room with a sense of pride, but his pride was immediately replaced by a sense of humor when he saw Nina's messy face. 

"Why is your face that?" 

"What about my face?" 

"I asked you! Where's Chloe?" 

"She went with Emily, it seems she has another job. But Emily looked annoyed earlier, I don't know why?" 

"Come on, don't talk about it. I want to go home now!" 

"Then, take me home first!" 

"No! You have to clean up in my house, you have clothes to iron!" 

"Tomorrow I will definitely do it, okay? Please, Aiden!" 

"No! You have to come with me!" Aiden immediately grabbed Nina's hand who resignedly had to follow his will. 

There were a pair of eyes that saw them walk out of this building. Samantha looked cynical, she didn't know if Nina had lied to her about her relationship and feelings for Aiden. What was clear, Samantha couldn't trust any woman who was near Aiden, without exception.

Nina pouted, today she really wanted to go home and sleep. But Aiden didn't think the same thing, he didn't care at all that this woman was tired or lacked sleep, because most importantly, she had to keep doing her job. 

"Can't just do it tomorrow, huh?" 

"You promised to give me a massage, right? You want to find an excuse?" He said while driving his car. 

"Haaah... idiot! Why do I have to promise everything!" She muttered. 

"What are you saying?" 

"No, I didn't say anything. Fine, I'll do it. Are you happy?" 

"My shoulders hurt from supporting your heavy head. So, show some accountability!" 

"Talkative!" 

"Oh yeah, what were you talking about with Samantha?" 

"Talking?" 

"Yeah, I saw you guys talking earlier. It seems like quite a while too. You must be saying something weird, right?" 

"Samantha asked if I had feelings for you." 

"She asked that?" 

"Yes!" 

"So, what did you say?" 

"Of course not, I don't have any feelings for you. She thinks I'm close to you for another reason. I have absolutely no intention of becoming a rival for their love!" 

"Is that so? You're very frank, aren't you?" 

"You'd better decide quickly who you fall in love with. If I notice, Samantha and Emily both have dominant personalities and don't want to be outdone by the others. So you'd better choose quickly before it's too late!" 

"Before it's too late, what do you mean?" 

"Before they get even more aggressive." 

"You say it like you're sure. Besides, what right do you have to force me to make a decision?" 

"I said that for your own good!" 

"My kindness? Who are you to think about things that far for me?" 

"Yes I'm nobody, but at least I care about you. A good man like you should get a good woman too," she said. Because Aiden's words were a little harsh, making her feel offended. 

Nina admits that she doesn't have the right to control Aiden, but because Aiden has helped her a lot, shevfeels they are not strangers anymore, but friends. 

Seeing Nina who immediately shut up and turned her gaze to the window, made Aiden feel very guilty. Usually, she would have fought all of Aiden's arguments, but now she was getting carried away by herself. 

"I'm sorry, I seem to have offended you. Thank you for caring about me." 

Aiden glanced at her, even though he had apologized sincerely. But there was no reaction whatsoever from Nina who still felt comfortable in silence. This kind of behavior will only make him feel guilty. 

"Why she is silent? Is she really angry? I think what I said was too much, how about this?" He thought. 

"Erm... are you hungry? How about we eat first?" He asked who was trying to be sweet. But unfortunately, there was still no response from Nina who didn't even want to look at him. 

"I already apologized, come on! Don't be like this. What do you want to eat? I'll treat you!" 

"No need!" 

"Don't be like that, or do you want delivery later? You can order more abalone. You like that, right? You can order two servings." 

"I'm not hungry." 

"Well, it's up to you!" He said annoyed and this time, he tried not to care. 

When they arrived at his apartment, Nina went straight to the kitchen to clean up. Aiden felt strange seeing her cold demeanor, like she wasn't Nina the crazy and annoying banana girl. 

Aiden sat relaxing on the sofa, watching Nina who was mopping the floor and what annoyed, she was still silent and angry at him. 

"Hey speak! Don't be silent! What should I do so you don't get angry anymore?" 

"Why do you care? I'm nothing to you, so don't mind me!" 

"What? Are you? Ah... well, you're no stranger to me. From now on you-" 

"You what?" 

"You're my friend." 

"Friend?" Nina who was standing in front of Aiden, tried to hold back her laughter when she saw Aiden's face starting to turn red. 

"Yeah, you're my closest friend now." Aiden felt embarrassed to say it. However, he couldn't deny that they had become close friends since this problem started. 

"Hahahaha..." Nina giggled. Seeing Aiden's cute face when he said that she was his close friend. 

"Why are you laughing? What's so funny?" 

"Your face is funny. I've always been curious. There seems to be something different about you. You're actually very shy, right? Come on, be honest!" 

"W-what are you saying? How can a confident man like me be shy? Don't talk carelessly!" 

"Don't lie, it's useless for you to hide from me. I've been watching your behavior since long ago, hahahaha... lest you're still a virgin!" She said while continuing to laugh. 

Aiden fell silent, the attack of embarrassment growing bigger filled his whole body. His head immediately lowered, trying to hide the embarrassment that was already at its peak. 

"Hahaha..." Nina who was insensitive, kept on laughing without thinking about Aiden's feelings. Of course because at first, Nina did not seriously say it. 

"You think it's funny?" 

"Hah? Not really, I was just talking. After all, you always hide whenever something strange happens to you, so I thought-" 

Aiden immediately walked away leaving Nina to his room. He didn't understand why he could be this angry because the secret he was trying to hide was known to other people. 

"Aiden, I'm sorry-" 

"You're right, I'm a weird guy and I admit it!" 

"What? I'm just kidding, don't be so angry! Erm...do you want me to give you a massage now? You said your shoulder hurts earlier, right?" 

"No need !" 

"Ouch...why is he the one who's angry? It was me at first," she thought. 

Nina was forced to use her seduction technique to melt Aiden's already hurt heart. By acting cute, she embraced Aiden's hand. 

"Let me give you a massage, Aiden! I'll change my mind later!" 

"Fine, but you have to take off your clothes, okay?" 

"W-what? Why?" 

"I want you to see how I react, am I right as you say!" 

"I was just kidding, don't take it seriously." 

"I don't care, just do it!" 

"B-but, how about-" 

"Are you afraid?" 

"N-no!" 

"So?" 

"O-okay!"
