Chapter 26

Aiden received stitches on the back of his hand which also had to be bandaged. In addition, there were several abrasions from collisions on his hands and feet. 




While Nina only got abrasions on her temples. However, rather than thinking about the small injuries on her body. She was more concerned about the condition of Aiden's car, which hit a wall and had to take the car to a repair shop. 




After receiving treatment, Aiden and Nina were allowed to go home. Aideb felt that his left hand was very painful, not only because of the injury caused by being squeezed by the door, but also because of the car crash. 




"You can't run away!" He said when he looked at Nina's figure who was already weak thinking about how much more debt she had to pay him. In fact, the debt that he had not paid at all at that time and now, he has to increase the debt as well. 




"A-Aideb, you can kill me if you want. I don't know how to pay for it!" 




"That's your problem! Ugh...my hand hurts so much. At this rate, I won't be able to work! You are really troublesome!"

Aiden stopped a passing taxi and got in immediately, while Nina came in and sat beside him. 




"Why did you come in too? I want to go home!" 




"I don't have fare to go home, let me come with you!" 




"Oh my god, you don't stop torturing me, do you?" 




"What else can we do?" 




"Okay, here's the money for taxi fare! But remember, our problems are not over. If my car is repaired and I know how much the bill is. I'll see you! Don't try to run away okay?" He said while handing some bills for taxi fare into Nina's hands. After that, Aiden asked the taxi driver to take him home. 




Nina was silent by the side of the road, contemplating the path of her life which was full of bad luck. In fact, some time ago, she felt like a windfall when her work was popular and she got a lot of money. But now, her income is not worth the debts she has to pay.

This morning, that annoying bell sound was heard again. Aiden who was feeling a bit feverish after yesterday's accident, woke up later than usual. 




Aiden wanted to spend today resting, recovering his body's condition, so he could return to work as usual.

"It must be that idiot again? What did she want to come? Not enough that she messed up my life?" He muttered. 




Yes, even though he was angry like that, he still opened the door for the most troublesome uninvited guest in the world. 




"What's wrong? Is there anything else you left behind?" 




"No! I just came to see how you are!" 




"You know I'm not okay, right? So, you don't need to ask anymore! Never mind, just go home!" 




"You must not have eaten, I was shopping to cook something for you, so I want to do you a favor!" 




Aiden paused and watched the banana girl who was carrying some plastic filled groceries from the supermarket. He don't know what she's planning, it's just that he feels a little traumatized by the presence of this woman. 




"Don't bother, I can order food!" He said as he pulled the door knob. 




"W-wait a minute! I'll clean your house and wash your clothes! I'll do anything!" 




"What else do you have planned?" 




"I didn't plan anything. I just feel guilty about yesterday's incident, you must be in a lot of trouble," Her expression showed genuine guilt, making Aiden start to get affected. 




"You're right, I'm in a lot of trouble and it's all because of you!" 




"I know, that's why I want to help lighten your load a little. Moreover, you must have a hard time cleaning your ass after defecating with one hand so-"

Aiden immediately closed the door. He couldn't bear to hear the rest. 




"That idiot, I knew she was just toying with me! It's too much, I was almost influenced-"

Nina pressed the bell again. But this time, Aiden tried to ignore it until she got bored and left. 




Five minutes later, the sound of the bell was no longer heard. Aideb was curious, had the banana girl given up and really left? 




He peeked from the CCTV screen, in front of the door, Nina sat like a beggar who was taking shelter begging for mercy from the young master. 




"You're crazy! Never mind, let it go! Later, she will definitely go alone!" He thought. 




Aiden went into the bathroom and just as Nina had said, he had a hard time doing any one-handed activity, including showering. It took Aideb a long time to clean himself and get dressed. 




After finishing, he felt his stomach was hungry because he had missed breakfast. While the clock was showing 10 o'clock in the morning. 




He opened the fridge, it was empty, there were no ingredients he could cook. He had forgotten that today he was supposed to be shopping for groceries at the supermarket and now he was confused about what to eat. On the one hand, he doesn't really like ordering food for breakfast because usually his stomach will hurt. 




Aiden had no other choice but to shop at the supermarket under these circumstances. 




"Why are you still here?" He asked when he saw a pile of aging human at his doorstep. 




"Hi Aiden, how are you? Long time no see?" Nina said in a hoarse and hoarse voice, just like a grandmother's. 




"You're really stubborn, aren't you? But-" Aiden looked at the groceries that she brought, making him think, maybe this could be used so he doesn't have to bother shopping in this condition.

"Huh? Really? You told me to come in, I didn't hear wrong, right?" The wrinkles and lines of despair that had appeared on her face a moment ago disappeared immediately when she heard Aiden allow her into his luxurious apartment. 




"Can't you stupid somewhere else?"

Cold-hearted Aiden, this time warmed up a bit with hunger. Humans, when they are in a state of urgency, must be willing to do various ways to survive. It's the same with him. 




"You said you wanted to cook for me, right? If so, please cook! I'm hungry already, so don't take too long!" 




"Yes Boss!" Nina looked excited, seeing her behavior, made Aiden laugh. 




He didn't intend to help at all, he preferred to relax on the couch watching tv. While Nina cooks in the kitchen with all her might. 




"She really can cook, can't she? Maybe she wants to poison me, so I can't collect her debt!" He thought who had already become suspicious because he was repeatedly deceived. 




Aiden got up from his spot and walked towards the kitchen, where the banana girl served delicious food as penance. 




At the dinner table, pancakes with maple syrup, meat omelette and fruit salad were already served. The delicious aroma, made him realize that at this time he was really hungry. 




"Are you hungry? The food is ready!" Nina said while pouring fresh milk into a glass. 




"You bought milk too?" 




"Yeah, I remember you said you really liked milk. So I bought it all earlier!" 




"Oh...I see-" Aiden pulled up a chair and sat down. The aroma of a savory meat omelette is very appetizing. 




He tasted it, the taste of this food made him remember his childhood. The period where every morning he always eats food made by his mother. 




"Delicious," 




"What?" 




"It tastes so good, just like my mom makes." 




"Is that so? Thank goodness."
