Chapter 52

Aiden waited in front of the women's restroom door, when Nina came out, he immediately grabbed her hand and led her down the hall to talk.

"What's wrong? What do you want?" Asked Nina who tried to let go of Aiden's grip.

"I want to talk to you!"

"What are you talking about? Why does it have to be here?"

"Never mind, don't ask too many questions! I want to warn you not to try to say strange things to Chloe. Do you understand?"

"What strange things, for example?"

"Like, if she keeps accusing us of being lovers, I want you to refute her!""

"What should I say? Or is it better for me to be honest if I have to work as your maid to pay off my debts, is that it?"

"No, it can't be like that! Find another reason that makes more sense!"

"What doesn't make sense? It's true that I work in your house!"

"You guys are back, right? Wow well, you have to go to the toilet together, right? It's really inseparable," Chloe said with a big smile.

"So, until what time today?" Asked Aiden who tried to change the subject.

"I think it's only until noon. Why? do you have another agenda?"

"No! I'm a little tired, so want to rest."

"So tired, huh? How many rounds did it take? Oops..." Chloe looked even more annoying. Aiden knew this was the start of a new problem. No matter how you explain it, Chloe still won't understand.

Nina was confused, even though she knew the meaning of Chloe's question. However, seeing Aiden's face look embarrassed, Nina didn't have the heart either.

"How is this? What should I answer? But why is Aiden's face so red? It's so cute," Nina thought.

"Just be careful if you talk like that!" Aiden thought angrily. Meanwhile, Aiden who is not an expert at arguing with women, can only surrender and argue as best he can like a cowardly man.

"Why are you silent? It's okay, I can keep a secret!"

"Erm...how about that? I don't know!"

"Why don't you know? You just need to answer strongly or not!"

"Yes, how do I know, did we do that?" Nina thought. She felt so ridiculous.

"We didn't do anything, Chloe! Stop asking her!"

Aiden gulped, Chloe sounded very serious with what she said. I don't know what she wants from knowing something like that? as if she had a distinct advantage in knowing Aiden's secret.

Aiden's car arrived at the building of Samantha's fashion design company. Aiden's feelings were even more uncertain, especially when he had to meet Samantha and Emily in this place. It would be even worse than he thought.

When the three of them entered the glass door, Samantha and her assistant Lyra were already standing in the reservation room right in front of the entrance. Seeing Aiden coming, Samantha's face looked very excited.

"Good morning, Aiden?" Said Samantha who immediately walked over to Aiden.

"Morning !" When faced with Samantha, his cool mode immediately changes automatically.

"Morning, Chloe? Oh... hi, it looks like we've met before!" Samantha said when she saw Nina walking with Chloe.

"Ah...that's right, we've met before-"

"You're the cafe maid girl, right?"

"So, you two know each other?" Chloe asked.

"Yeah, we met at the cafe, right Aiden?" Samantha immediately glanced at Aiden with a look that was difficult to decipher. There was passion as well as great ambition in her eyes every time she looked at him.

"Yeah," Aiden answered flatly. Seeing Samantha's gaze, he always melted. This woman really captivated him even just by looking into her eyes.

"It's good that you two know each other. So, no need for introduction!"

"So Nina, what business do you have here?" She asked.

"I have no business, I was just forced to come along!"

"Is that true?"

"Aiden, go to the locker room!" Chloe asked. Aiden reluctantly took a step, it felt as if his feet were stuck on the floor. If he left now, we can be sure that the woman who was the culprit in spreading this rumor would take further action.

"How about this? I wish I had the strength to face Chloe!" He thought.

"Aiden, it's time for you to get ready. Emily has come a long time ago!" She said.

"Okay," Aiden stepped in half-heartedly, leaving the three of them to be sure to talk about him.

After he left, Chloe was even more excited to see Samantha's reaction when she found out that the young woman in front of her was Aiden's girlfriend.

"So, who forced you to come along?" Samantha asked.

"I forced her to come. The problem is I don't feel comfortable asking her to go home alone!" Chloe said.

"Are you out of somewhere?"

"W-we-" Nina stuttered. She really didn't know what to say, she knew exactly that Aiden looked very interested in Samantha. So, if she spoke something that would make Aiden furious, her life would not be saved.

"They agreed and I met them at the restaurant!" Chloe said. Nina was silent, panic running through her body. Especially seeing Samantha's reaction that seemed like she couldn't believe what she had just heard.

"Dating?"

"No, t's not like that, it's not what you think! Me and Aiden just-"

"Why don't you just admit it? You guys are dating, right?"

"Dating? If so, surely you two have a special relationship. Is that right?" Samantha stared sarcastically, making Nina repeatedly swallow hard because she felt intimidated.

"How is this? I want to go home!" Nina thought panicked.

"It turns out that what Emily said was true!"

"Emily? did she say something to you?" She asked.

"Yes, she said that he often saw Aiden bringing a woman to his apartment and even he took her home. I think the woman Emily said was you. Is that right?"

"Really? Aiden, how could she hide this from me!"

"You're in luck, Nina. Aiden is a very attractive man and can easily win the hearts of many women. But apparently, his type is a very simple woman, I was surprised, very surprised. That means, he doesn't look at women only from outward appearances."

"What's she said? So simple? What's wrong with me?" Nina thought. Even though at first she didn't have a bad opinion of Samantha, hearing her words, somehow made her feel annoyed.

"He is a good man, I know him, Samantha. He never even introduced his girlfriend to me and as far as I know, he's never been close to women. Nina, don't be evasive again, okay?" Chloe touched Nina's nose while smiling. In contrast to Chloe's reaction which looked happy, Samantha was just the opposite. Angry, that's what shows on her face.

"Okay, then I want to check Aiden and Emily's preparations first. See you later!" Said Samantha as she walked away with her assistant.

Nina felt a little relieved that Samantha was gone, it was obvious that she was very jealous hearing Chloe's words. Nina who felt stuck because she was completely unprepared to answer, was forced to surrender and dodge as best she could, even though she felt that this was not enough at all.

I don't know what gossip will circulate, Nina never knows the lives of top super models who seem luxurious and amazing, as if they live in a different world. However, when she got to know Aiden, she felt that the models who looked radiant were just ordinary people, just like herself.
