Chapter 20
"A brothel? You mean a place-"
"Yeah, why? Are you surprised?"
"A little, so you mean the main character-
"Aiden?"
"I don't want to say my own name.'
"Hahaha... what about the main character?"
"Means he is like that because of his job as a man to entertain lonely women?"
"No, as I said before, the main character grew up under the care of Madam Lorenza, but because of his teenage years he was a young man with a thin body, poorly groomed, weak and often sick, so he was left alone. He was the one who cleaned Madam Lorenza's house So, when she was 14 years old, some of Madam Lorenza's bodyguards physically and sexually abused him, so-"
"The story is that dark? What chapter does it start to talk about his past?"
"Hmm... what chapters? Maybe around chapter 35 and above. It seems you've started to be interested in the story, right?"
"No! Who said that? In fact, the more I hear from you, I'm grateful I didn't read any further. I don't like sad stories like that!"
"It's sad that only in the flashback part of the main character's past, when he grows up there are many exciting and interesting things. Yes, but it's useless to force you if you don't like it."
"Hey, what are you guys doing?" Asked Emily who had just come out of the locker room.
"We were discussing a novel web, so the male lead is-"
"Chloe!"
"Hahaha... okay, I won't tell you, you are very scared. Oh yes, tonight there is Laura Florentin's birthday party at her nightclub. We are all asked to join in the celebration. Emily, you have to come too!"
"Of course, I don't mind,"
"Aiden, you must too, can't refuse this time!"
"I have other business"
"No Aiden, no. You are always like this, you are the main model in his company. So, please respect him as our relation!"
Aiden took a deep breath, just hearing "Nightclub" made his head dizzy, let alone having to go in there. If he were challenged and told to choose between going to a nightclub, bar and the like for an hour or watching a gore movie without censorship, then he would prefer to watch a gore movie.
When he steps into the club, Aiden's friends are sure to force him to drink and dance to the ear-slapping DJ music. No, he really doesn't like that kind of stuff. He hates places that are too crowded, liquor, cigarette smoke and music that is very uncomfortable to the ear.

"Shit! Do I really have to go to that place?" Aiden thought.
Even though his performance tonight indicated that he was ready, his soul was very clear that he would never be.
Drrrtt...drrrttt...
Chloe contacted him to check whether he had left or not.
"Yeah, I'm want to go!"
"Hurry! It's almost nine o'clock, I heard that Emily lives in the same apartment as you, you can go with her!"
"Why don't you just pick her up?"
"Why do you hate her so much? Is it because she's your ex-girlfriend? Be mature, Aiden. Forget your past with her, the most important thing is that she is your partner now and try to be professional!"
"Okay, I know!"
"Yes, be careful on the road!"
"Just forget about the past with her? It's good for you to talk!" Aiden muttered.
After leaving and locking the door of his house, Aiden went down to the fifth floor, where Emily lived. It seemed that he didn't need to wait for Emily to sing, because when the elevator door opened, Emily's figure looked very ready.
"Good night?" Emily said. She looked very beautiful in a short black dress that showed her beautiful shoulders and back, and no less amazing facial makeup.
"Good night, I think we should go together!"
"Thank you,"
Aiden took her to the apartment parking lot, where his three cars were stored. Emily secretly glanced at him, looking at his figure which was very much different from the old Aiden.
The desire to return to own it feels stronger, making Emily not want to lose the opportunity, where they can be together like this.
"Please come in!" Aiden said as he opened the door of his black Mercedes-Benz.
"Thank you," Emily entered gracefully and she was very flattered.
Aiden got in and started driving his car, of course he would feel awkward if he had to be like this with Emily along the way. But he tried to cover it up by being cool and calm.
"You're not going back to Alberta?" Emily asked to start the conversation.
"I think next summer, you?"
"Yes, I wanted to see how my Dad is doing. I heard the friends are having a reunion this summer. You weren't informed?"
"No!"
"I was told by Louise, but the official invitation hasn't been sent either. I think it's still just a plan,"
"Oh, I see?"
"You look disinterested, don't you want to meet your high school friends?"
"Why do I have to meet those who used to bully me?"
"You still haven't gotten over them, Aiden?"
"If you were in my position, you could forget everything?"
Aiden was silent, his voice sounded cold. It might be a mistake to bring up school friends to someone who was always the victim of bullying in the past.
For him, nothing was fun at school, especially high school. The period that people say is the most beautiful time, but becomes the darkest period in his life.
Once as an ordinary teenager as well as a high school student, Aideb just wanted to live a good, quiet and peaceful life. But what he got was just the opposite. Yes, quite the opposite.
"I'm sorry!" Emily's voice trembled. The atmosphere between the two of them which had been awkward and very uncomfortable from the start, now got worse.
"Apologize for what?"
"I could never stop them, I should have helped you."
"Never mind, I just don't want to remember things like that. So it's better, we don't have to talk about it anymore. Okay?" Seeing Emily who looked like she was about to cry, made him have to take a stand. He didn't want to be the bad guy who let the women around him cry, even though he wasn't the cause.
After arriving at the nightclub, where their colleagues gathered to celebrate the birthday of one famous designer. Aiden and Emily walked together through the entrance.
DJ music is heard, but because the party hasn't started yet, the music sounds quite low. There were already many invited guests who attended, chatting together while enjoying a glass of cocktail.
"Aiden...!" Shouted a group of humans who had been waiting for him to join them.
Stacy immediately got up from her place to steal the start, running while carrying a glass in her hand.
"Aiden, finally you came too, I've been wanting to party with you for a long time." Stacy shouted while hugging him.
Behind Stacy, Tory, Rachel, Meghan and Kelly were already lining up to give Aiden a hug. While their other friends stay in place laughing at the hottest and most beautiful models who always go crazy and lose control when Mr Perfect, Aiden is around.
"Hahaha...I'm so jealous, damn you Aiden!" Darren exclaimed, while the others joined in the laughter.
"You're mine tonight. Aiden, you can't go home anyway!" Stacy said while touching Aiden's chest with her curled fingers.
"Hey Stacy, you remember the rule that no one can have Aideb alone?" Kerry asked.
"Oh yeah? Is there really a rule like that?"
"You made it, Stacy. Don't pretend you forgot!"
"Hey you guys, come on! I want to meet Chloe first!" Aiden said.
"Why do you have to meet Chloe first? You really can't do without Chloe, can you? Anyway, tonight, you have to satisfy us, Aiden!"
"Yeah... you can do it, Aiden?" The five beauties in front of him started to stare at him while biting their lip. It seemed they had been waiting for this night to arrive for a long time.
"What does it mean?"
"You can't run away!"
