Chapter 63

"Thanks for tonight, Aiden!" Samantha showed her sweet smile. After feeling she had succeeded in convincing Aiden that she was the best. 




Aiden smiled faintly, his heart still doubting whether the decision he had made was the right decision? Considering the relationship that Samantha offers seems more like coercion than two hearts that want each other. 




"Yes, then I'll go home. Bye?" 




"See you soon, Aiden!" Samantha waved her hand, accompanying Aiden's car as it drove away. 




Aiden took a breath, he didn't expect love to be this complicated. Once he thought that his story would be easier if his appearance changed, but in reality, trouble was coming from a different direction. 




After Aiden arrived at the apartment, Aiden immediately reactivated his phone. There were five messages from Nina asking the same thing, namely, when will Aiden come home? 




"This idiot, if she wants, she can go straight home. Why are you still asking?" Aiden muttered as he opened his apartment door. 




Aiden was stunned, the living room light was still on, indicating that Nina might not be home yet. On the couch, Nina fell asleep with the phone still clutched in her hand. 




Aiden stepped closer to Nina to make sure if she was really asleep or just pretending. However, when Aiden looked closely at her face. The excitement filled his soul again. 




"You're waiting for me, huh?" He muttered. His hand gently touched Nina's face, if only he had rights over her, he will do what a lover usually does, which is hug her. 




For five minutes Aiden kept buying time so he could look at this face a little longer. An unstoppable impulse, he had no choice but to take the body into his arms. 




"I love you." He whispered as he kissed Nina's forehead. Aiden got carried away and this made him feel sick. 




Nina opened her eyes slowly, when she realized that Aiden was hugging her tightly. Nina who was confused about how to react, could only remain silent until Aiden realized that she had woken up from her sleep. 




"Warm-" Nina thought. The hug felt very warm and comfortable. If he persisted, it was not impossible that Nina would fall asleep again. 




For 15 minutes the hug lasted and Aiden tried to buy time to be longer, so she could still feel this warmth. 




"How long are you going to hug me?" She asked while holding back laughter. Spontaneously, Aiden immediately pushed her away. 




"You? You're awake? Or maybe you're pretending to sleep, huh?" The embarrassed Aiden answered with a stutter. 




"I was awake earlier, you are secretly hugging a sleeping woman. You are impolite!" 




"If you're already awake why don't you react right away? Just say you like being hugged too?" 




"Geez, just make excuses! Where have you been? Why aren't my calls being picked up?" 




"Why are you waiting for me? You can go straight home when your work is done right?" 




"Wasn't it you who told me that I have to wait for you to come home first!" 




"Really? I think it's because you really want to wait for me-" Aiden said who somehow felt disappointed. 




"Where are you from? Why are my calls being ignored?" 




"I'm going with Samantha, just for dinner. Because you suddenly called, Samantha got angry, so I had to turn off my phone." 




"Is that so? Ok, I'll go home first. See you tomorrow!" Nina said while getting up with hold of resentment in her heart. Made her feel like an annoying stupid woman. 




She deliberately slowed her steps and looked back, glancing at Aiden who still didn't budge in his place. Nina who felt stupid because she subconsciously hoped Aiden could understand her. 




Seeing that there was no sign that Aiden would hold her back, made Nina feel even more annoyed and judged that Aiden was really insensitive to her feelings. 




"Wait a minute!" Called Aiden which finally made her feel relieved. 




"What is it?" 




"I have something to say!" Aiden said as he got up from the sofa and walked over to her 




"What do you want to say?" 




"Samantha has confessed her feelings for me and I have no reason to refuse her!" 




"So?" 




"You're not angry?" 




"Why should I be angry?" 




"Don't your heart feel hurt? Aren't you jealous?" He asked. His face drew closer and made Nina feel intimidated. 




"I have absolutely no right to stand in your way, you are free. You are not bound by me." 




"But I feel sick, you know? It really hurts because all I want is you, not her!" 




Nina's body trembled and she tried to hold back her tears. Why is she so stupid and can't be honest with her own feelings? This is a dilemma for two humans who are experiencing true love for the first time. 




Aiden's face was getting closer, making Nina had no place to dodge and stay away from him. She knew what Aiden wanted from her, because she wanted the same thing. 




"I love you-" Aiden who was getting closer, immediately kissed her lips. It doesn't matter if she will reject it. 




Nina who basically realized her feelings, could only accept Aiden's kiss and return it by giving all the feelings she had. 




"Are you sure you're not mad? Are you really okay if I do this to her?" 




"You're free-" 




"Why are you so stubborn? I can feel you love me too. Then, where's the harm?" 




"There's nothing wrong, but you've accepted her love, right? Therefore, you can't run away-" 




"Are you really happy with what I'm doing?" 




"No!" 




"So what? You let the person you love have a relationship with another woman. Are you crazy?" 




"You don't understand my feelings!" 




"What don't I understand? Tell me, Nina! Tell me so I can understand you!" 




"You can try to have a relationship with her, if you end up falling in love with her, that means what you're feeling right now is just an illusion. But if you still want me-" 




"You will accept me?" 




"Yes-" 




"Is that true?" 




"Depends on you," 




"You're challenging me? You want me to play a jerk by dating a woman and leaving her, is that it?" 




"Yes, and I'm sure you'll stick with her!" 




"If that happens, you won't regret it?" 




"If that happens, it means we are not fated to be together." 




"Okay, so do you then. Find a guy and date him. I wonder if anyone really loves you like I do, but on one condition!" 




"What?" 




"You can't make love to him!" 




"Why?" 




"Because I will definitely kill him if that happens. Do you understand?" 




"Are you crazy?" 




"How? Are you up to it, my dear?" 




"Besides, who is interested in me, are you crazy? Your love for me is like something impossible to happen. So, it's impossible if-" 




"Why can't it be? You are beautiful, very beautiful." 




Hearing Aiden's praise, her face immediately turned red. To be complimented as beautiful directly by a man like Aiden, she don't know what dream she actually went through so that something as impossible as this could happen in her life. 




"Thank you." Nina looked down shyly. She who a few minutes ago was almost crying, now changed very quickly after hearing one compliment. 




"Then, can you tell the truth that you love me?" 




"For what? Aren't you Samantha's boyfriend now?" 




"Her lover or not, my heart belongs to you. So tell me the truth, I want to hear it!" 




"I love you." 




"What? What did you say? I didn't hear!" 




"I love you, you idiot!" 




"Should there be idiot?" 




"Such a fool! But, I love you." 




"Me too, I love you so much. Until when do we have to do that stupid thing?" 




"Until you really confirm your feelings, is your love really for me or just temporary." 




"What if I can't and I still want you?" 




"Come, I will wait for you."
