Chapter 130: Wedding

*I became a biker but it seems I should have been a priest. Pretty sure bikers have more sex. – Trigg*

Toad’s office was commandeered for their use. Kirsten made a few last-minute adjustments to the new corset and old dress.

With her makeup done, hair styled and dress on, her sisters handed Evie over to their dads. With a few kisses and tears, they went and found their seats. Katie and Law would be her only attendants.

Law offered to wear a dress and heels. His sister declined, afraid that he would look better than herself.

“How are you feeling?” Isaac asked his daughter when she stepped out into the hall.

“Do you want me to tell you that I feel wonderful? Or that I feel like a beached whale?” she asked with her hands on her large belly. “A beluga whale because it’s white-ish.”

“Should we worry that she’s getting specific about what type of whale she feels like?” Isiah asked his brother.

“I would worry more if she didn’t feel like a whale. But I would have gone with a sperm whale because she’s pregnant.” Isaac grinned.

Evie rolled her eyes. “You’re not funny, dad.”

Nessie joined them in the hall. “They’re ready for yeh, lass.”

Evie nodded her head. Isaac and Israel both moved the ivory veil over her face. It was a short veil that barely brushed her shoulders that were covered with a satin ivory cape, which had been added to cover her exposed arms.

December in Massachusetts was much colder than in Texas.

The satin and gossamer ivory dress had a square neck and wide straps. The empire waist helped to accommodate her large belly. Evie’s belly was slightly larger than her mother’s had been nearly fifty years before. Kirsten made adjustments and it fit her usually small figure perfectly.

The floor length skirt covered her flip flops. Her ankles had been swelling and they were the only shoes that fit.

Isaac and Isiah took Evie on their arms while Israel walked behind her. They guided her down the hall and through the doors leading outside to the garden which was turned into a winter wonderland, even with propane heaters lining the perimeter. The space was full of Saint’s and Renegades with the occasional teacher and students. Including Doreen and Caroline Davis.

Tank and Ink both smiled at her as she came into view. Her fathers stopped just outside the ivory canopy where her men stood with Trigg.

“There’s an official script for all this,” Trigg said and there was a ripple of laughter that went through the crowd. “Well, maybe not exactly this. But anyway, Evie you look lovely. And no offense, but miserable. We’ll do this quick and get you back off your feet.”

"Thank you." Evie smiled at him before looking at both her men. They both beamed with love and pride.

“Who the hell are you three and why are you giving such a lovely creature to these deviants?” Trigg demanded of the triplets.

“We are her fathers, and we are giving our youngest daughter to the men who hold her heart.” Isiah said.

Trigg motioned for Isiah to step off to the side and they spoke softly for a moment. Isiah turned and motioned for Dixie to join them. Trigg spoke with her and then stepped back over in front of the two Saints.

“I tried to talk her parents out of this. But they seem to think that you two are deserving of such a sweet girl. I’m reserving judgement. So, if you would relieve your father in laws of your bride.”

Isiah lifted her veil and kissed her temple. Dixie took advantage of being there and hugged her daughter and kissed her cheek. Israel and Isaac also hugged and kissed her before handing her over to her grooms.

Dixie and her men took their seats. Isiah pulled her into his lap and she linked hands with the other brothers on either side of them.

Tank and Ink both placed arms around Evie’s waist. Ink kissed her lips lightly before Tank followed suit.

“We’re not there yet.” Trigg pointed out.

“You threw away your book of scripts. How do you know where we are?” Ink asked and both babies moved excitedly.

Trigg started to argue and then stopped. “Damn. Fine. Do you take this lovely woman to be your wife, to love, honor and obey from this day until your last?”

“I do.” Ink smiled down at the woman next to him.

“Tell her why.” Trigg ordered.

“Evie,” Ink said caressing her cheek and then rested his hand on the belly and the babies settled down some under his touch, “you came to us, seeking comfort and peace. And you gave us a completeness that we did not know we needed. You are everything that we could have asked for. And so much more than we ever dared to hope for. You are the heart and soul of our family. I love you with all my heart.”

“Alright, Tank, what about you? Do you take this beautiful woman to be your wife, to love, honor and obey her from this day until your last?”

“Damn straight, I do.” Tank replied gruffly. “You are the light in my darkness. The reason why I still get up in the morning. You are the reason I breath. And you are giving me two more reasons to keep going. I love you with every fiber of my being. I cannot imagine our lives without you, and I don’t want to.”

He leaned in and brushed his lips against hers, resting his hand on her belly also.

Trigg smiled at Evie. “And you, beautiful, do you take these two idiots to be your husbands, to love and honor them from this day until your last?”

“She doesn’t have to obey?” Ink asked with a grin.

“Young man, I have been happily married for more than enough years to know that I want to remain married. I am smart enough not to tell any woman to obey a man.” Trigg explained. "Or to give away any woman's age."

Evie giggled. “I do. I take them both as my husbands, to love, honor and *obey* from this day until our last. You found me when I was broken and you made me whole again. You put color back into my life.”

She smiled at Ink and then at Tank. “You gave me your darkness to shine in. You gave me a reason to see the morning. I love you both. Except when the herd of elephants decides to play soccer.”

“We told you boys to behave.” Ink directed to the babies who were still moving.

“You know the only thing that is going to settle them down.” Evie said softly.

Both of her men knelt beside her and softly sang “Ring of Fire.” Trigg watched in amazement as her skirt quit moving and both babies settled down completely.

“For those of you that didn’t get to see this like I did, that was pretty damned awesome.” He admitted and then looked at Athos. “Does that happen a lot?”

“Yeah. They seem to like do-whop and classic country. Specifically, Cash, Waylon, Platters and Clovers.” Athos answered.

“And Tank reads them a bedtime story every night.” Law added as the grooms stood back up.

“They’re very good daddies.” Evie smiled at her men and then her belly. “I’m just the incubator.”

Grinning, Trigg asked, “Do you two have rings for your incubator?”

They both pulled the rings out their cut pockets. Trigg motioned for them to give them to her and they slipped both onto her finger with the other two.

All four rings would interlock creating three interwoven hearts. Evie pulled their rings out of her skirt pocket. Both rings were black tungsten with gold bands along the edges.

On the inside of the men’s rings were all three of their initials, the date and ‘3 Became 1.’ Reed already planned to add the same to her rings once they were sealed together.

“Gentlemen, you may kiss your bride.” Trigg said and they did as they were instructed. “And now, if you three would please turn and face your family and friends. Ladies and gentlemen, I proudly present to you…. Mister…. And Mister…. And Mrs…. Reagan.”
