Chapter 167: Why The Hell Not
*I’m sorry. You want me to come to a meeting in your office? Did I do something wrong? – Karan*
Monday morning after making sure that the kitchen was cleaned and that the two kids that were dropped off by single dads were being watched, Karan made her way to Toad’s office.
Masculine laughter flowed down the hall. Nervously, she knocked on the door frame and the three presidents looked over at her.
“Come on in, girl.” Toad said with a grin. “Where’s that boss lady of yours?”
“I’m not sure. Last time I saw her she was three kittens deep in Knuckles arms.”
“How are you three kittens deep?” Trigg asked.
“As in my son, Knuckles?” Brute asked at the same time.
“The office yeh little devils.” Came from the hallway. “Oh, just follow Sinner.”
“Follow Sinner?” the two presidents from the other clubhouses both asked as three kittens ran into the office followed by Knuckles with his arm around a beautiful red head woman.
“Don’t worry, Toad, they’re about to go back to bed.” Knuckles said of the kittens Toad was trying to keep out of his lap. “Ohhh, umm, hi dad.”
“Meeting the parents?” Karan teased.
“Acht, I’ve met him before.” Nessie replied and Toad said something in Gaelic.
“Bàlaichean?” Knuckles asked repeating the word he was pretty sure that he knew the translation of.
“Balls. Pleural of ballach.” Nessie translated grinning at her uncle. “Bàlaichean gorma. Blue balls.”
“Nah. I’m man enough to know how to prevent them.” Knuckles shrugged his shoulders.
“Pretty sure Ness knows how to prevent them to.” Karan smirked.
“Aye. But there’s more to it than just his balls.” She smirked back at the club girl. “Were yeh able to deep throat Cookie?”
The other woman blushed.
“Did yeh forget who yer talking to?” Nessie asked and Knuckles chuckled.
“Keep laughing.” Karan said. “She’s the one that told me to take a cock down my throat.”
“Not a conversation I need to hear.” Toad said and Brute agreed.
“Come on, kids.” Knuckles said and the cats ran to him. “I suddenly need a shower.”
He kissed her and she murmured something against his lips. He smiled and kissed her a little deeper. He tugged her braid lightly as he lifted his head. “I always think of you in the shower.”
“Still don’t need to hear that.” Brute grumbled.
“Guess you don’t want me to ask if she needs batteries?” Knuckles asked his dad.
“For what? My vibrator is rechargeable.” Nessie said plucking one of the kittens off his pants leg. “Take the pussies and go to bed.”
Knuckles leaned in and whispered in her ear. Placing a kiss on her temple, he took the cat from her and the other two cats followed him down the hall.
“You good?” Trigg asked as she rubbed a fist over her heart.
“Girl,” Toad said moving his chair as she sat in his lap, “that boy is too in love with you not to fight for you.” He hugged her close and she laid her head on his shoulder.
“Bradley is still looking for me.”
“He’s got a lot of Saints to get through.” Brute told her. “We can also call up the Renegades. I’ll be honest, some of them scare me.”
“Evie’s mom scares me.” Toad admitted. “Hell, Evie scares me a little bit.”
“Damn.” Trigg said. “I’ve seen Siobhan pissed. So, if Evie scares you, damn.”
“I don’t want to see Nessie pissed at a living person.” Karan said. “I don’t know what you did that night in the bar, but it was fucking scary as hell.”
“I just invited Sinner and Coon inside. They took care of him.” Nessie said with a sigh. “I told you, I don’t like casting out. Even lost souls need an anchor.”
“Hop up, girl. We need to talk business.” Toad said kissing Nessie’s hair. “Karan, close the door and come sit down.”
