Chapter 325: Morning

*Pagan, Ashlyn isn’t feeling good. We’re bringing the girls home early. – text from Becks*

The girls that had come over for Fatima’s birthday had stayed up late watching movies. Becks and the other pretties took shifts staying up with the girls and making sure that they weren’t in too much trouble. Priscilla hung out in her room with Camille until the younger girls had convinced them to come down for a few rounds of pool.

Throughout the night there had been plenty to eat. Probably too much for them to eat. Especially for little girls whose dad does not keep many sweets or junk food in the house. People always assumed that with a single dad, the kids ate pizza, corn dogs and macaroni. But Becks new that Pagan insisted on full meals at the dining table complete with formal settings.

Becks was not surprised that she had woken up and found one of the girls with an upset stomach. She had expected it to be her niece, Morgan, but she was still asleep on the floor of the media room. Ashlyn sat on the bathroom floor with her head resting on the toilet seat.

“Sweetie, are you okay?” Becks asked as she knelt beside the girl.

Looking up with tears in her eyes, Ashlyn shook her head no. “My tummy hurts.”

After checking her temperature and asking what all Ashlyn ate, Becks knew what the problem was. Halfway through the long litany of everything that she had eaten, even Becks was starting to feel nauseous. The ten-minute list was only what Ashlyn could remember.

Walking back upstairs to wake up her husband, Molly, Becks called Pagan. The call went to voice mail. “Hey Pagan, Ashlyn ate waaay too much junk food and is now suffering. I’m going to bring her home. Call me when you get this.”

Reaching over Michaela, she shook Molly’s shoulder. Tammy, a nurse, went and checked on the little girl before they both got loaded up into Becks’ minivan. It was a short ride back into the Monroe Historic District and the large house. Molly got the two girls out of the back as his wife went up the walk.

Becks stopped on the steps to the porch of Pagan’s house. She couldn’t see very clearly through the sidelight. But she was pretty sure that she could see women’s clothes on the floor. Unless Pagan had taken up drag, she was pretty sure that he had company last night.

From the looks of it, he still had company.

She turned and looked at her husband who was carrying the ten-year-old like she was still a toddler. Giving him a smile that she hoped he understood, she tilted her head towards the driveway.

“Why don’t you go see if Karan has anything for her tummy.”

With the confused look on his face, she knew he missed the message.

“I’m sure Pagan has something.”

“I’m sure he does have *something*.” Becks emphasized the last word hoping that he got the hint.

“Then why-.”

Becks sighed, wondering how the man fathered a dozen kids and not catch onto the hint that his single dad friend had company of the female kind. “Molly. Take the girls around to Karan.”

Certain that his wife had lost her mind, he shook his head and led the girls around to the small carriage house apartment. One on his hip and the other holding his hand. One quiet and the other chatting happily.

Becks turned back to the house and entered her code on the electronic lock. Once inside, the nights activities became apparent. Stepping over items of clothing, she jumped a little when the bodies on the couch moved.

Pagan’s arms were wrapped around a short plump woman. She had thick wavy black hair, colorful tattoos and a pinup body. She was grateful that Pagan had already laid claim to this one. Although she loved the other wives, she did not think she could handle this one.

And she could picture this woman in bed with her and her husband.

“Pagan.” Becks said as she leaned over the back of the couch and gently shook his shoulder.

“Morning.” He muttered and then felt Shiloh move. “Oh shit. Where are the girls? Why are you here? Are they OK?”

“Molly took them over to Karan. I texted, called you and left a message. I think Ashlyn ate too much junk food. She woke up early this morning with a tummy ache.”

“What time is it?” Shiloh asked sitting up and pushing her hair out of her face.

Both Pagan and Becks gave an appreciative groan at the sight of her heavy breasts with the silver nipple shields.

“About 8:30.”

“Crap.” She muttered something that sounded like either Spanish or Italian. Neither was sure. But they both enjoyed the view of her standing up and stretching.

Becks handed her the dress that had fallen off the back of the couch. “I think this is yours.”

“Thank you.” She pulled the dress on without anything underneath.

“Lucky dress.” Pagan muttered as he stood up and found both condoms and wrappers. He walked into the kitchen completely naked and comfortable with himself.

“Are you trying to make me have to take advantage of my husband?” Becks asked as he walked back in.

Handing Shiloh a cloth grocery bag for anything she was not going to wear, he winked at Becks. “I’m trying to help Molly out.”

“Thanks.” Shiloh said taking the bag and putting her lingerie and petticoat inside it. She reached for the remnants of her panties, but Pagan grabbed them first.

He shoved the tattered material into the jeans he had hastily pulled on. They were zipped, but not buttoned. The trail of hair leading down his well-toned abs offered a tempting promise.

“I owe you a new pair.” He said pulling her to him. “I really enjoyed last night.”

“Me too.” Shiloh blushed. “Maybe we can do it again sometime.”

“Would love that.” He tucked some hair behind her ear and then tipped her face up to his for a kiss. “I’ll walk you home.”

“No. Go take care of your girls. If I get lost crossing the street, I probably shouldn’t be opening any businesses.”

“Alright.” He gave her a quick kiss before opening the door.

Shiloh waved at Becks before walking out. Pagan stood at the open door watching her until she disappeared into the old funeral home.

“She seems nice.” Becks said as the door closed. “Drought is over?”

“We certainly had a lovely summer rain last night.”

Becks laughed. “I saw. Go check on Ashlyn, I’ll give the floor a once over.” She ordered getting the steam cleaner out of the closet.

“Yes, ma’am.” He gave a mock salute as he headed for the kitchen door.

Pagan jogged across the driveway and into the small house. Instantly, he knew his little princess did not feel good. She was nestled in Cookie’s lap and looked pale. Her little sister was battling with Molly on the gaming system.

“My tummy hurts, daddy.”

“I know.” He squatted down in front of her. “Momma Becks said you ate a lot of junk food.” She looked guilty. “Now, I’ve never been a little girl, but I think that you’re supposed to eat a lot of junk food at sleep overs.”

“Can I sleep in your bed?” Ashlyn asked quietly.

“Absolutely. I’ll even watch your Andi Mac show.” He offered as he picked her up. “Alyssa, are you going to kick Cookie's butt?”

“Yeah!” His youngest squealed in victory over Molly.

Cookie groaned as he played along as the doting uncle and relieved his friend of the controller.
