Chapter 88: Home
*The best part of a trip is coming home to sleep in your own bed. – Ink*
True to their promise, they headed home the next morning. The parents insisted on riding with them back to the clubhouse. They were surprised to find about a dozen Renegades and Ladies ready to ride with them.
“I told you, Renegades don’t ride alone.” Roscoe explained. “We won’t be going this time; Kristen went into labor this morning. I’ve already called Toad and he’s expecting you tomorrow.”
Tank led the group with Ink riding with Ryan in road captain position. The parents rode in the middle of the pack. Evie traded off between her men, just as her mother did.
Early afternoon the following day, they pulled into the clubhouse. Evie squeezed Ink’s waist after he parked and helmets were removed.
“Thank you for taking me home.” She said in his ear.
“Anytime, pet.” He smiled before kissing her.
Tank helped her off the bike and took a kiss of his own. “I wish your trip home would have been better.”
“I don’t.” She smiled as she rested her head on his shoulder and reached out to take Ink’s hand. “Just proved to me that I made the right choice to leave. And I picked the right place to come.”
“Yes, you did.” Ink agreed. “What are the parents waiting for?”
“Nothing. They’re on the phone.” She replied. “They love their tech.”
“We need to check in.” Tank said pulling Evie with him.
“Nice cut.” Toad teased as they approached. When he saw the two men get a little flustered, he held his hand up. “Roscoe explained it.”
“That’s a hell of a beard you grew, Isaac.” Absalom said holding out a hand.
“Israel.” The man said taking his hand.
Isiah took his helmet off and grinned at the confused looks they were getting. “Isiah.”
“I’m still Isaac.” He said removing his helmet as Isiah helped Dixie take off her own.
“Saints, meet the parents, Isaac, Isiah, Israel and Dixie.” Evie said pointing to each one as she said their name. “Mom, dads meet the Saints. They have name tags.”
“Which one are your sisters creaming themselves over?” Israel asked.
“Trevor.” Evie and her men said in unison, pointing to the giant.
Dixie looked him over. “What the hell do any of them think that they are going to do with him? None of their little short legs would even fit around his head.”
“Yeah.” Evie laughed. “Clay is pretty tickled over the sisters.”
“Clay?” Dixie asked as Trevor approached them.
“My man is finishing up your basement today.” Trevor said cocking his eyebrow at the three.
“Trevor, are you telling me that you’re embarrassed by our playroom?” Evie smiled.
“Don’t tell your sisters he has a man.” Isiah laughed.
“I wasn’t going to say anything about it in front of your parents.”
“We own sex clubs.” Israel said to a shocked group. “They should meet your sisters.”
“Dom with a skirt.” Law said hugging his mom and his dads. “Playroom downstairs is available again.”
“Why don’t you go show your mom and the Ladies around?” Ink suggested.
Tank tugged on Evie’s hair to get her attention. “Go see Nessie and get everyone settled.”
“So that you can talk about my nemesis?”
“What did Joy do?” Law demanded.
“We’ll talk about it.” Tank said at the same time that Ink asked Toad, “Can you request Celt join us?”
Toad nodded as he sent out a message. “I’m not calling church until tonight.”
Evie’s men kissed her before heading into the clubhouse. Her dads did the same with Dixie and followed them inside.
Inside, they told Toad about everything that happened. When Celt arrived, they went through it again. Isiah handed over a copy of order of protection.
Celt called his dad who said that he would take care of the legal aspects. Until something happened there, no judge would issue one. But they will keep a copy on file if needed.
Werewolf said that he’d have some guys from the security company go out in the morning to install a full system.
“I don’t want it telling me when to take a shit.” Ink grinned and the other Saints, except Sticks, laughed.
“That was not funny.” Sticks grumbled.
“It sure as hell was.” Dino laughed.
“Don’t worry, I don’t think you have teenagers that think it would be funny to schedule time for you to shit.” Deuce added.
“Your alarm system can do that?” Isiah asked.
“It’s a whole automated system. Control the temperature, turn lights on and off, hell it can even make you coffee when you get up.”
“That. We want that.” Tank demanded. “I like strong. Not Law strong.”
“You go live with penguins and polar bears. Tank fuel starts tasting pretty good when you are literally where the sun don’t shine.”
“Talk to Evie before you do anything to her house. You don’t want to live with an angry woman.” Molly advised.
“Spoken like a smart man.” Israel smirked.
“Who’s mad at you?” Celt asked.
“Let’s narrow this down to who is not mad at me. Those in my house under the age of about five.”
“Damn. Even Becks? Priscilla?” Riffraff asked as the door opened and the musketeers and Priscilla walked in.
“What did your dad do to get your moms mad at him?” Toad asked and Priscilla glared at him.
“Do any of you know what holiday is this week?” she asked.
“I swear, your gifts are not ready. It’s something that I have no control over.”
“The puppies?” Cookie asked.
“You got us puppies!” She squealed.
“Yes.” Molly said as his oldest threw herself into his lap. He kissed the top of her head and hugged her.
“Werewolf?” She squeaked.
“I never activated it.” He laughed.
