Chapter 31.

Valeries POV.

I get to the south side to see the tents are already being put up and the foundations have been started for the new homes, after a few hours of making sure everything is going smoothly Alpha Evans comes to join us bringing Alpha Mark along with him.
“Valerie, good to see you.” Mark greets softly giving me a devilish smile.
“Good to see you too Alpha Mark, it’s been a while.” I answer back noticing the discreet wink he tosses my way.

“Everything is on track here Alpha and the first few family’s will be arriving any minute, I will be checking them out when they arrive to see if I sense anything off.” I say to Evan as Mark cocks his head in my direction making Evan and I chuckle.
“Alpha Mark I forgot to mention my witch is Valerie.” Evan states after clearing his throat still smirking.
“Oh! I thought you were a wolf?” He asks clearly confused.
“Well as it turns out my biological mother was a witch, so I’m actually a hybrid. The one from the prophecy you’re here about.” I say with a proud smile.

A voice breaks us from our conversation making me jump, I turn to see a group of vampires walking towards us.
“You made it, how was your trip?” Evan asks Killian as he drops a few bags down.
“It was alright, hopefully the membership is still in the dark of our plans. This is the Silverstein family, Augustine family, and the bellows.” His brother states pointing around to each group.

“Hello everyone I’m glad you could all make it here safely, now that you are on my land you will be under my packs protection as well as Alpha Marks.” Evan says gesturing to Mark standing beside him before going over the rules of the pack.
“Not everyone is happy that this arrangement has been made but I do expect each member of my pack to get along without conflict.” He states while they all nod and agree with the Alpha.

“We are currently building your homes and until then we have temp tents set up for everyone and our chefs will be brining out dinner shortly.” He finishes his statement and you can feel the tension settle as one man from the group steps forward.
“Thank you so much for helping us Alpha, we all truly appreciate it. Since our numbers were brought down by the hunters our membership has also went down hill, we are scared to live in the clutch. Fear consumes us everyday we are under the memberships thumb and we are very thankful to your wolves.” The man states before stepping back.

“We are happy to help, our pack takes all species and we believe in everyone being able to live in harmony.” Evan finishes before walking off leaving me to deal with the vampires. I spend the rest of the evening meeting with everyone one by one to talk to them bout their family’s and life within the clutch, I explain pack rules and let everyone know they will be shown around the pack together in the morning by a pair of our warriors.

By the end of the night I’m beat, my energy feels drained and I’m exhausted.
“I’m going to my caves quick, I need to recharge.” I mind link Preston and Evan letting them know I’ll be out for a while, I dealt with the new comers and everyone’s settled so I’m done here for the night anyways. I walk towards the tree line as I pull my clothes off letting them fall to the ground behind me, standing in the cold night air I stretch, inhaling deeply I take in the smell of the forest around me.

The wet mud all around and the crisp pine needles on the ground, I listen to the wind blow as it moves the branches around making a soft rustle of Mother Nature and I feel my soul become full. I shift allowing Anna to have full control as we run through the night, I allow myself to sit back in my mind while she runs full speed through the night dodging trees and branches as she goes.

Suddenly I’m knocked to the ground and Anna lets out a yelp before spinning on her heels to see her attacker, looking over I see Preston on the ground looking like he’s laughing in his wolf form.

“What the hell are you doing?” I mind like him angerly.
“I thought I’d join you for a swim.” He says in a nonchalant voice trying to ease me.
“Who said I wanted you to come.” I say in a snarky tone.
“Oh come on Val, aren’t we passed this being your place?” He states while his wolfs tongue comes rolling out of his mouth.
“Cant it just be our place?” He asks as my heart flutters to his question and I finally huff walking off to my caves when I hear his wolf yip for joy and follow close behind me.

I feel the warmth of the stone on my paws as I walk in, the moonlight shines down and I shift back to my human form Preston following my lead. I breath deeply enjoying the moonlight gently kissing my skin as it shines down covering my body in a glowing light while I soak it in. I feel Preston’s hands start to travel my body moving against me, I exhale letting myself relax in to him. Sparks spread across my skin sending small shocks to my core making my arousal rise, I giggle feeling him kiss the side of my neck and butterflies begin to start in my stomach.
“I love you little wolf.” He groans softly in my ear while the shivers spread.
“Mmm I love you too.” I whisper before turning to face him, his lips land on mine as I respond.

I run my hands down the front of his chest as our tongues tie together fighting for dominance, I grip is long shaft in my hand gently stroking him as he breaks our kiss gasping. Trailing kisses down his chest I lower myself in front of him as he leans back, his hands tangle in to my hair as I softly lick the tip of his length teasing him while I flick my tongue making him twitch and chuckle.
“You’re such a tease.” He laughs as I start lower licking my way up his shaft before allowing all of him to fill my mouth, moving him deeper with each stroke making him hit the back of my throat.

He groans deeply while I continue to work my mouth on his shaft stroking him as I go, within minutes he picks me up by my shoulders pushing me against the stone wall as his mouth finds mine once again and our tongues begin their dance. Pulling my right leg up and pushing it against the wall I feel him at my opening making the butterflies start in my stomach, he pushes in to me while his hands travel my body and mine swim through his hair.

My pleasure builds with each thrust, letting my weight on to him he pounds in to me aggressively. My body burns with anticipation and I dig my fingers in to him, Preston grabs my other leg hoisting me up on to him while he gently bounce me along. My moans fill the space and my heart beat quickens with each movement, I lock my ankles around his body taking him in deeper as my body clenches around his. Everything tightens before the pleasurable release finally comes and every nerve goes numb and I begin to go weak, I feel him thrust in to me a few more times deeply before he finishes as well. I feel him gently lay me down on the rocks as he joins me and I begin to meditate blissfully recharging my power.

I wake up a while later feeling stiff from laying on the ground, besides that I seem energized and ready for all the ceremony’s to come, Preston and I spend some time playing in the pool of water before deciding to head back to the pack and check out whats going on.

Alisons POV.

Laying in bed I stare out the window feeling completely numb, I don’t know how to be a mother. I don’t have a wolf so I can’t even protect them, all they do is cry when I try everything to sooth them but nothing helps. Maybe everything would just be better without me, the twins have been here for almost a week now and I’m still just stuck.

It’s become a chore just to shower, every movement feels like sand paper and the only thing that feels safe is this bed. I know Evans worried and I don’t want him to be, the way he looks at me everyday makes me feel guilty and ashamed. I just wish I could be what he needs, I wish I was a good mate and mother but lately I don’t seem to be good at much.

I watch the leaves on the tree outside the window, the gently sway back and forth softly dancing in the wind. I haven’t left the room in days at this point I don’t even thing I remember whats outside this room.
