Chapter 51.
Valeries POV.

It’s late when we get back, Evan carry’s Alison’s sleeping body up the stairs and in to their room. I stand at the bottom of the stairs smiling watching them go, I’m so happy the moon goddess decided to lift the curse from Alison’s family. We wiped out the last generation of them in power so we can begin teaching their pack new ways, I can’t wait to see her children grow, the twins and Salem will grow in to strong leaders.

I meet Preston in the kitchen and toss some berry’s in to my mouth while he rummages through the fridge, I look at the clock noticing it’s almost 5 am.
“Holy we need to get to bed, you have training in the morning and I’m helping the last of the packs get ready to leave.” I say between chews.
“I just wanna eat something quick and we can go.” He states making me laugh as I grab a plate to bring some fruit with us.

I go up stairs and shower quickly before Preston even makes it upstairs from his snack adventure, laying I bed I eat my fruit while watching him run around taking clothes off. He climbs in to bed wrapping his arms around me as I nuzzle in to him comfortably listening to his breathing as we both begin to drift off to sleep.

I wake up to the sun streaming in the window hitting my sparkly top making smaller reflecting lights shoot all over the room tracing together happily. I stretch out letting my skin soak in the sun, Preston’s already gone and I roll over on to his side of the bed lying there closing my eyes. I waist as much time as I can rolling around in bed before deciding to finally get up, I toss on a light green sun dress and wear my gladiator sandals on and go down to the kitchen to grab something to eat before heading out to see the rest of the packs off. Everything has been so hustle and bustle here it will be nice to have the quite back with just our pack members and finding a way back in to our routines. I finished with Alpha Marks pack, they have been staying here the longest and are one of our closest allies it will be weird having such a quiet pack.

The rest of the visiting packs finish collecting their members before finally heading off and I feel myself let out a sigh of relief, I stand at the entrance to our pack and think to myself for a moment. We have all come so far, Even and I used to play together as children running through the woods until our parents called us in for dinner. Not a care in the world just the two of us playing make belief thinking nothing could ever happen to us, only to grow up both loosing our parents and having to take on these pack responsibilities at a young age.

It’s amazing to think of how far we have come together, Evan has been a brother to me and he’s been the best brother I could have ever asked for blood or not. I turn to walk back to the Alpha house as I continue to ram through my thoughts, I’m so happy Alison has a wolf now and we can run together. It must be so weird to get used too, she’s been a human her whole life and now shes a wolf. I can’t wait to get to know Talia better and I’m sure Anna does to.

“Valerie I need you in the forest behind the Alpha house, follow the trail.” Evan mind links me pulling me from my thoughts as I confirm and begin to pick up my pace, I find Evan and Preston standing together with their backs turned to me.
“Oh hey little wolf.” Preston says as he reaches for me wrapping his arm around me he kisses me on the top of the head.
“Hey, what are you guys doing.” I ask softly.

“Well seeing as we have basically moved in to the Alpha house Evan has decided to give us our own house right behind his.” Preston states as we begin to walk down the path together. We come to a small pathway with a large house softly lit up with warm lanterns hanging around the outside making me gasp, the windows go from floor to ceiling making the house look completely open.
“Oh my god.” I say under my breath and I hear Evan laugh.

“3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, you also have a sun room and den, it’s 2 levels with bullet proof glass.” Evan says with a smirk making me smile.
“Of coarse it is.” I say laughing to myself.
“It’s perfect, thank you Evan.” I say hugging on to him.
“You’re welcome, you and Preston have done so much for the pack you both deserve your own space. I still need you close which is why your house is close to mine but I decided it’s time to let you have your own space.” He says with a laugh as I pull away from our hug giving him a big smile before taking off too go look at the inside.

“Did you know he was doing this?” I ask Preston as we walk through the front door.
“Who do you think designed the layout.” He says chuckling while taking my hands, we walk in to a beautiful cottage core living room that’s all open, the whole cabin looks so cozy.
Our bedroom is just off the living room as well as a spare room, theres a loft above us and a large kitchen fully stocked, I smiles while I look around at the earth tone colours and natural stone. The bathroom is attached to our bedroom, it has a large claw foot tub in the middle of the room with a large shower head over it.

“Oh my god it’s perfect.” I say pulling the curtain around the tub as it forms perfectly around it, the walls are a pale green and have plants hanging in the corners, eucalyptus and bubble pearls fall from the little pots.
“When have you had time to do all this.” I ask softly as I touch the plants.
“Well the pack helped a lot, we’ve been building so many new houses for the new members we decided to do our as well.” He says coming to wrap his arms around my waist.

“You were so busy with the ceremony and linking everyone in it was easy to hide our plans.” He says chuckling and I smile walking back out in to the living room, I notice a small screened in porch off to the side and I slide the huge doors open stepping through. I sit down on the small fabric stool in the corner of the room beside a short glass table.
“I thought you’d rather have a open light space to do paperwork in when you have to bring it home instead of being trapped in Evan’s office.” Preston says watching me slowly walk around checking everything out.

I stand up giving him a big hug.
“Thank you, I really love all of it.” I say as I feel his lips on my neck making sparks begin to spread as I feel the hunger begin to stir in me, I begin to crave his touch and my body aches for him to hold me it’s been so long we’ve just been existing together instead of loving one another.
“I locked the door when we came in.” He whispers softly and small vibrations flutter through my skin making me moan softly and I hear him growl in response.
“We don’t have to hide in our room anymore, we have the whole house.” I say in a playful voice as I try to turn and walk away, he pulls me back lifting me up on to him as I wrap my legs around his body and hold on to his shoulders.
