Chapter 46.
Alisons POV.

I walk in to our bathroom turning the water on while Poppy puts the babies down for bed, the room fills with sweet smelling steam as my nerves begin to calm. A vampire, I’m technically a wolf but I have no wolf I wonder if that would effect the transformation? Maybe we should talk to the council, first I need to talk to Evan. I hear the bedroom door close as goose bumps rise on my skin and I know Evan is back, the bathroom door opens and I spin to face him.

“Hey, how was your day?” I ask softly as I walk towards him to help take his clothes off, his hands go to his face rubbing hard and I know he’s tired.
“It was alright I’ve been in my office all day, doctor Blair said I shouldn’t train for a little while and allow my body to heal so I’m stuck with desk work.” He sighs deeply as I pull his shirt off.
“Being out of the office for so long theres lots to do anyways.” He finishes as he stands in front of me fully naked.

My eyes wonder his body making my stomach flip flop and I feel anxious, he hasn’t made me feel this way in a long time I don’t know why but I feel giddy.
“Can I ask you something.” I say softly feeling my nerves rise more and I choke on my own breath.
“Whats up?” He asks looking over to me with curiosity spilling from his face.
“How would you feel if I became a vampire?” I ask him and I feel my eyes hit the floor scared for his answer.

“Why would you ever want that Alison?” He asks and I think I can hear hurt in his voice, I pull my pants off following him in to the bath as the warm water forms around us.
“I can’t protect the girls, I’m a wolf with no wolf and stuck in this little human body. What if something happens and you’re not around? The girls will be able to shift shortly after their third birthday and I wont be able to share any of that with them, at least being a vampire would make me stronger an give me a fighting chance if the worst were to ever happen.” I state as I keep my eyes down not wanting to see his expression.

“And what about your wolf side? Valerie is the only hybrid I know, and she was born not made.” He states in confusion.
“Well obviously my wolf side is dormant for some reason, I was thinking we could talk to Ethan and the werewolf council to see what would happen.” I say shrugging my shoulders as I peek up trying to read what he’s thinking.
“We will talk with the countless and go from there, were not making any decisions tonight.” He states almost coldly, I knew he wouldn’t like the idea.

I nod softly before pushing myself through the water towards him as I lay my head on his chest feeling his heart beat bellow me, I feel him exhale softly as I start to drift of to sleep. After a while I feel him pick me up carrying me to the bed he drys me off and slides the covers over me gently making me smile and snuggle in deeper, I feel him climb in behind me as his arms drape over me fitting in with my body perfectly.

My mind slips off once again running with wild thoughts of what being a vampire may be like.

I wake up the next morning feeling well rested, the sun shines in making my skin warm and I feel Evan tighten his hold around me shifting me closer to him I groan snuggling deeper as I trace my fingers over his arms tickling the small hairs as I go making him twitch as he slowly wakes.
“Why are you trying to wake me?” He asks through a sleepy voice making me smile.

“I missed your voice.” I say back as I roll myself over to face him planting small kisses all over his face making him scrunch his nose up.
“The celebration is happening tonight, do you think Valerie is ready?” I ask softly as his eyes dart open.
“When isn’t Valerie ready?” He laughs and I smile back, he pulls me up on top of him as I squeal loudly.
“Don’t! I don’t like it when you do that!” I shout through my laughter.

I leap out of bed and run to the bathroom when I hear his big feet stomping on the floor chasing behind me, I giggle slamming the door trying to keep him out as I use my whole body to hold it closed. He moves the door with no effort as I struggle to force it back before he swiftly picks me up over his shoulder while I still laugh hysterically, he tosses me on the bed as he jumps on top of me.

“Stop! Stop it!” I plead still laughing as his mouth comes down on my neck leaving little nips behind, suddenly theres a knock at the door pulling us both back to reality and Evan calls out.
“One minute.” As he stands to grab a robe before opening the door.
“Sorry to bug you Alpha but the celebration will be starting soon, the packs that are near will be showing up soon.” Preston states as he keeps his head down clearly embarrassed for interrupting us.

“You need to take it easy for a while, doctor Blair said you’re not back to full health yet.” I say as Evan shoots me a look.
“I know, I’ll be fine, Salem will be joining me more to learn Alpha duties.” He says as I smile.
“You want to train him for the Alpha position?” I ask softly trying to hold back how happy I am.
“Well he is the oldest boy and only boy for that matter so he will be in line to take my place.” He states making it sound like it’s the most obvious thing.

I didn’t know if he would consider Salem because he’s not his heir, but I guess that doesn’t matter to him. I doubt the girls will want to take the Alpha place anyways, Evan walks to the closet tossing a long blue dress at me as he begins getting dressed and I leave my thoughts to join him back in reality. I begin putting the dress on as I continue talking.
“Are you planing to call Ethan and William today about what I asked last night?” I question feeling nervous for the answer once again.

“Yes I will talk with them and see what they think and we will go from there Alison, I really hope there’s a way around you being a vampire.” He states softly before kissing the top of my head and heading out.
“I'll meet. You in the gardens.” He calls out as my head begins to drop; I really hope he comes around to this idea. I can't handle being the weak little human anymore.

I finish getting ready before checking the nursery to see it empty, Poppy and Pepper must have the girls down stairs already. I run down the stairs to see the girls feeding the babies in their high chairs at the table, Poppy is feeding them both while Pepper warms up their bottles. I walk over to the table sitting down beside Poppy.
“I talked to Evan last night, he said hell talk to the council before we make any decisions.” I say with a smile as I bite in to a piece of toast and she looks up at me shocked.

“He actually agreed to it?” She asks with surprise and Pepper walks over taking a seat with us.
“Well, no but he said we’ll talk about it, which is better then nothing.” I say softly.
“Talk about what?” Pepper asks loudly making me smile.
“Evan and I have been talking about me changing in to a vampire.” The second the words leave my mouth she drops the bottle shes holding in the floor.”
“I’m sorry Luna will you excuse me for a moment.” She states as she swiftly stands collecting the bottle pieces before cleaning up the milk and leaving the room.

“What’s her issue?” I ask Poppy turning back to our conversation.
“She really doesn’t like the vampires.” She answers as she looks down continuing to feed lilly her mashed bananas.
“Oh so she probably can’t understand why I would want to.” I say almost to myself as I see Poppy nod.
“I’m going to see if Valerie needs any help, are you good with the babies for the day?” I ask as she nods and I steal another piece of toast.
“Salem left with Evan so you’ll probably find them out there somewhere too.” She says as she stands going to grab a wet face cloth.

I nod and head out the door to go find my mate and best friend in the gardens, I take a few moments to enjoy the flowers as I walk passed lots of wolves hustling around trying to finish up for this evening. I soon find Valerie with her clip board giving out orders loudly like usual, I walk up to her as shes instructing a pair of male wolves on where to hang the globe lights and I laugh.

“Are you ever not bossing someone around?” I say with a laugh as she scolds me before breaking into a smirk.
“Everything I just about ready and I want it to be perfect, the mermaid king will be coming this evening and it's their first time on land in decades.” She says as I feel her stress waft off her in waves.
“I’m sure it will be perfect.” I respond trying to reassure her.

“Evan is greeting the arriving pack and I have to meet the mermaid king in my caves in an hour, can you come with me?” She asks as I nod.
“Of coarse I will.” I say taking her hand as Cove comes running up.
“Ok the cook had a bit of an issue with the dinner menu but it’s fine I sorted it out.” She exclaims as she run over out of breath and I laugh.
