Chapter 44.
Valeries POV.
The sun begins to rise as the light starts to seep in making everything come back to life as we near our lands, my lungs burn from the trip and I feel my paws begin to throb. We cross the boarder and the loving embrace of the pack fills me and I start to feel normal once again, I mind link Emily letting her know we are on our way. I stop at the arena as the warriors all shift their attention to me, Killian and Mathew shift first taking the pack with the flowers off of me as they both dash to the hospital.

Preston walks over unhooking the cage from my harness as it falls to the ground with the unconscious people, I shift back to my human form while one of the other warriors brings me a robe.
“We found some hunters on our way, I brought them here to be questioned.” I say as Preston looks over.
“You broke their limbs I see.” He says with a chuckle as I take a drink from the one who handed me a robe and laugh.
“I wasn’t taking any chances, this is all the crap they had on them. I’m going to see the Alpha.” I state as Preston nods.
“Ok I’ll just deal with this.” He states still laughing as I hear him command the other men to come and help move the prisoners.

I walk in to the hospital as all the nurses are running around frantically.
“Whats going on?” I ask one and she passes me not even paying attention.
“Oh Valerie it’s good you made it here in time, we’ve been struggling to keep Evan stable all night, we’re hoping the flowers work quickly.” She states before taking off once again and I feel my heart get caught in my throat. I walk in to Evans room to see the monitors beeping and Alison lying on the side of his bed.

“How’s he doing?” I ask softly taking a seat beside her.
“Doctor Blair is making the antidote now, he will need 3 rounds of it,” she states as I drop my head softly.
“It will be ok Alison, he’ll make it through this. He’s our Alpha, he has to.” I say trying to convince myself more then her. After watching the monitors beep for what seems like forever doctor Blair comes rushing in with a vile and a needle.

“Ok we are ready to do the first dose, the second will be in 12 hour and the last will be 12 hours after that.” He states as Alison and I both nod watching as he does the first shot.
“Ok I will have nurses checking on him every half hour he should be awake soon.” He claims as we both continue nodding, doctor Blair walks out as I turn to Alison letting out a deep breath I didn’t notice I was holding.

“I have some things to check on I will be back soon, have you eaten?” I ask softly as she shakes her head back and forth.
“Ok I will bring some thing back with me when I come.” I say as she nods.
“Thank you.” She answer her voice just above a whisper. I need to go see how Preston is doing with the new prisoners and make sure everything will be ready for this weekends celebration, Evan would be pissed I he knew I sat by his bedside the whole time when there is stuff that needs to be done.

I find Preston in the arena with the warriors once again.
“Is anyone awake yet?” I ask as he shakes his head.
“No you did a number on them Val, they won’t be awake for a while. We put them in the cells and I got a team together to research the weapons they had.” He claims as my face turns in confusion.
“Theres a few things we don’t recognize and we’re hoping to just find out more info on them.” He finishes as I nod.

“Ok well let me know what you find out I have some party planing to do and I need to bring Alison something to eat.” Give him a quick kiss before turning to the pack house, it’s lunch time currently so the cooks should have the dining area filled with food. I walk in finding wolves, witches and vampires all moving round one another filling their plates and I laugh moving around to grab one of my own.

I get 2 grilled cheeses with chicken fingers and fries and some salad before heading back to the hospital happily munching on my way, Emily smiles as I enter.
“Evans awake he seems to be doing much better.” She says softly making me feel warm and happy inside.
“Good I’m glad, I’m just bringing Alison lunch.” I say as she giggles and nods before getting back to her work.



Poppy’s POV.

I push the cabin door open when I hear Killian and Mathew laughing in the sun porch making me smile, I walk in as both their heads turn to me.
“We weren’t expecting you back today.” Killian says softly as he stands to kiss me.
“Pepper is staying with the babies, I needed to shower and change I was also going to try and take a nap before going back” I say while setting my bag down on the couch.

“Oh shower?” Killian asks looking at me with a sneaky seductive look making butterflies erupt through my body and I start to giggle.
“Well thats my cue to leave.” Mathew says while standing to see himself out as I take off running through the house squealing, Killian’s steps a few seconds behind mine. I reach my bedroom as I feel Killian’s hands land on my waist picking me up and tossing me on to the bed making me shriek.

He leaps on top of me as I bust out laughing, his hands spread sparkles along my body making my skin come to life as I begin twitching and moving around. His lips land on mine in a sweet hot passion our tongues fight for dominance dancing along with one another as my heart throbs bellow my chest, I unbutton his pants as he pulls my skirt down tossing it to the floor, I toss my shirt while he slips his pants off grinding his long hard member in to me making me moan in pleasure.

His hands glide down my sides and stomach leaving the train of sparkles to flourish, I push my hips up to his as he slips himself in to me and I gasp hard. My body takes a moment to adjust to his size, he links his hand under my shoulder allowing himself to pull me closer with each thrust. Our sounds of love soon fill the room as we move together as one in perfect sync, his other hand slide behind the small of my back holding me up closer to him. He slowly thrusts in to me as his lips land on my neck setting my skin on fire, I continue to moan softly while his hands start exploring my body.

We continue enjoying each other for as long as we can until Killian begins to pick up the pace finishing quickly before hoping off me to clean himself up tossing me clothes along the way.
“What’s wrong?” I ask suddenly feeling self conscious.
“My brothers back, I can hear him outside.” He says with a chuckle taking my hand to help me up.
“I didn’t want him to catch us, can we get our own place soon?” He asks softly making my face drop.

“Come on Poppy, we’re mated now and us living with our siblings is really putting a crimp in things.” He states as I nod, I know he’s right I’m just not ready to leave yet. We both dress before heading back down stairs to find out what his brother is up too.
