Chapter 49.
Alisons POV.

“What made you guys think of this?” Valerie asks as we all begin to eat.
“Alison wanted to become a vampire.” Evan blurts out as Preston spits out his drink coughing.
“I’m sorry a what?” He states making Valerie laugh.
“Yeah so I decided to go to the council to see if there was another way around this, with her family being wolves and all.” Evan responds. The guys continue to talk about my family as my mind wanders back to the moon goddess, I wonder what it will be like to be a wolf, will it hurt? To think that I’ve been a human my entire life and after tonight I’ll be a wolf just like the rest of my family, that is if she finds me worthy of having a wolf. Oh I hope the moon goddess finds me worthy.
“Are you ready?” Valeries voice breaks me from my thoughts and I realize I’m playing with my food, I nod happily trying to contain my smile once again as we all get up and go outside, Valerie, Preston and Evan all change in to their wolf form as I stand there watching.

Evan bends down in front of me allowing me to climb on top of him, Valerie looks back before taking off towards the caves and we all follow. I take in the feeling of the wind along my body, after tonight I won’t need to ride Evan any more I’ll be able to run with him and our pups. Within a few moments we make it to the caves and Evan lets me down off him so we can all climb through, the 4 of us make our way to the little crystal pool in the middle and they all shift back to their human forms.

“We will need to be touching the pool, it’s the power source for the crystals.” Valerie states and we all sit down putting our feet I to the small pool, we all link hands as Valerie begins to ground herself.
‘Are you ready Luna?” She asks softly and I nod still smiling happily, she closes her eyes as I feel the air around us change. I take a deep breath feeling my heart pound in my ears, my nerves begin to rise making me feel anxious as there is a bright light that begins to shine down.

I hold my breath in anticipation, the light begins to break off in to sparkles shimmering softly around us as they grow floating around till they begin to gather together in a bright light. I gasp when I see the most beautiful elegant woman come to form in front of us like magic, she hovers above the water as the sparkles disperse settling back down around her and she opens her eyes.
“Hello my children, its good to see you all.” She greets us as I remain star struck staring at her.
“Hello moon goddess, we’ve come to ask a favour of you.” Valerie states clearly without hesitation.
“I know why you’re here darling. Luna Alison first born daughter to the silver family, a original member of the dark water pack. The pack that was blessed with special gifts, you’re here because of the curse I have placed on your pack and family.” She says looking over to me as I nod unable to speak.

“You being the first born means you have no wolf, members of your pack are no longer aloud to lead due to their greed for power so why do you think you should be able to lead as a wolf with my blessings.” She asks as I stutter a bit before answering.
“Your majesty, I understand why you cursed my pack but I never grew up there or was raised with them, I was raised human as an orphan alone. I didn’t find a family until I met Evan and became a part of his, my morals and values aren’t the same as the wolves that are in my family. My goal is to lead with grace, I’m there for my pack and I want to be able to fight along with my mate to protect my pack if needed.” I say confidently as she stays silent for a moment.

“I want to be able to protect my children and lead my pack as a wolf, since coming to Evans pack and seeing the way his wolves live and get along it has made me crave the same connection, our pack is our family and I think their Luna being a wolf as well would be beneficial to all of us and I would truly appreciate the gift you’d be giving me.” I begin to ramble now feeling nervous again as she raises her hand in front of me.

“Enough.” Her voice soft but clear as I almost feel my tongue try to crawl down my throat.
“I’ve been watching you since you became Luna, I assumed it was only a matter of time before you’d come to me. You have been a strong leader and you’ve been through more as a human then what most wolves would survive, I believe by giving you the wolf you should have been born with you will only become a better leader.” She states and I feel my smile creep across my face as I’m unable to contain it once again.

“In fact, since you and Evan have taken down the dark water pack and taken their members I will lift the curse I placed on the blessed wolves, your children will have no issues coming in to their wolves by the time they are 3. I am trusting you will continue to lead your pack properly and with support, your pack will grow I numbers and strength with the proper leadership I don’t see why you can’t flourish in to one of the strongest packs in the world.” She finishes as I nod happily.
“Yes moon goddess we will, we will continue to better our pack for all of our members and we will work on helping the wolves we saved form my parents pack, they will need training and therapy to move passed what they lived through.” I say as I look to the ground feeling shame consume me for the torment my parents have caused.

“So be it, I look forward to seeing how you and Evan come along in the future.” She says as she lifts her hands above her allowing the sparkles begin to rise around us again as they pour from her finger tips and start to wrap around me covering me in their soft and comforting embrace. I feel power rush through me as my heart pounds and I feel stronger a rush of power bursts through me, I feel myself change the aura around me becomes more powerful as I inhale deeply taking in the feeling.
“When will I change in to a wolf? What about Salem? He isn’t our biological child, will he be like his other siblings? I ask softly feeling my curiosity rise, we’ve had Salem for so long sometimes I forget I’m not his bio mom.

“Your first transformation will happen tonight at midnight and yes Luna all of your children will be blessed with the gifts from your family biological and adopted. Good luck Luna.” And with that she begins to fade again and we are all left quietly looking at one another.
“Well how do you feel?” Evan asks taking my hand as he looks over to me.
“Good, I feel stronger.” I answer as he smiles.
“Ok well we have 3 hours till your first shift so how about we go get ready before meeting back at the crystal lake to run.” He says to Valerie, Preston and I as we all nod and begin walking back to the Alpha house.

When we get in I run to the fridge chugging back as much juice as I can before I’m out of breath.
“Holy you’re going too make yourself choke.” Evan says while chuckling as he comes in to the room.
“Sorry.” I gasp and wipe my mouth.
“I’m going to be a wolf.” I say with a smile happily.
“I know, I’m excited to run with you.” He states taking my hands in his.

“I wonder what your wolf will look like.” He asks suddenly as I stop and look to the ground, I’m not sure I think to myself.
“My father was black wasn’t he? Maybe. I’ll just be black.” I say shrugging my shoulders as we turn around to go upstairs.
“What ever your wolf looks like I’m sure I’ll love it.” He finishes as we make it to our room and I hug on to him tightly.
