Book 2: Chapter 50

**Chapter 50**

It's bachelorette party time and we were all excited. Farah kept this whole thing a secret for the entire week until it was time to go. Now, it all was coming to light and I couldn't be any more excited than I already was. The festivities going on today would not only be shocking but quite fun as well. All of it was fit for the most perfect bachelorette party a girl could ask for.

The most shocking of today's news was that Farah, along with my mom and Jenna's mom, would be joining in on the activities. I guess since this night was all about the ladies they felt more comfortable coming with us. There was also the fact that Jeremy and Cairo were hanging out with the guys tonight as well. I couldn't wait to hear from Jay about what went on. Those boys were gentlemen but they were still young men at heart.

To kick things off, we were all supposed to meet in front of the house to hop on another big bus for our travels. It wasn't a party bus this time but there were still drinks supplied to us. We were also all told to dress in gym clothes or anything we found comfortable. That wasn't a problem for me as I much prefer to dress that way regularly. However, it was shocking seeing Farah not in her usual overly expensive gown. She looked like any ordinary woman for once. Dare I say I was living for it?

"Well Autumn, looks like your outfit isn't as iconic anymore," Twila poked fun.

My eyes rolled with a playfulness behind them. "Hey, I coined the look. They're all just copycats."

"No one can pull this off better than you babe," she giggles.

Kira laughed too but was more concerned about what we could be doing all dressed down. "Do you guys not find this strange?" She asked.

It was jarring considering who Farah is. She would never recommend anything like this without a cause. Her reasoning had to be pretty damn good if she were even willing to put on sweatpants. Given that it was a bachelorette party, the activity had to be something related to that. I mean, what would we do that would require us to be dressed like this? The idea stumped me but soon became more clear once we got to the venue.

Stepping off the bus, we all looked thrilled yet mortified that some of our mothers would be doing this with us. Leave it to Farah to sign everyone up for a pole dancing class. I loved the idea and couldn't wait to see how everyone handles it. However, my eyes were not excited about seeing my mom on a pole. I thought she would be opposed to the idea, but she was the opposite. God, Summer was lucky she was still young. Her eyes didn't have to deal with this torture.

Bradyn lit up once she realized what was happening. "I've always wanted to come to a pole dancing class," she gushed. "Who's ready to see me strut my stuff?"

We laughed at her enthusiasm. "Bradyn, I'm sure you're going to mop us under the water," Kira said.

"She is our dancing queen after all," I added, thinking about last year.

Then Twila had to ask us the unthinkable. "Do we think Farah is going to get on the pole is the real question."

We collectively snapped our heads to look over at Farah. She is the one who booked this and is wearing the required attire. If I were her I wouldn't book something I'm not going to enjoy myself, but this was Farah we were talking about. Maybe she just wanted to make sure we were having fun and things moved as scheduled. That still wouldn't explained why she opted to wear sweatpants like the rest of us. In any case, it'd be interesting to see what happens once we get inside.

Speaking of inside, there were just enough poles for everyone to practice on. There would be an instructor who was going to teach us some basic moves to help us keep balance. Then, once we got the basics down she was going to teach us a sequence that we would all do together. That all sounded fine and dandy but this shit was a lot harder than it looked.

Not only did you need to have a good center, but strength and flexibility were just as important. When I tell you none of us had that besides Bradyn was maddening. I didn't expect much from Farah or my mom, but Kameron should have been running circles around us and she was struggling just as much. None of us were built for this. It was quite embarrassing but it was a lot of fun either way.

"Who knew pole dancing required so much work," Ocean stated out of breath.

The instructor laughed. "Building up strength and flexibility is key." She looked at Bradyn. "I say this one has it in the bag though."

Jenna scoffed. "When does she not?" Her eyes roll. Someone was jealous.

"Are we ready for the routine?" The lady asked us.

Truthfully, we weren't, but we were going to do it anyway. Farah, my mom, and Jenna's mom tapped out at this point. It was simple enough with a few spin moves there and walking around the pole. I think she made it simpler since we all sucked but that's beside the point. Kameron had the instructor record us on her phone as a keepsake. I think she'll use that as blackmail down the line but it's safe to say we were all having a great time together.

Once we were done with that, we were told to go back to the house and get dressed more appropriately in Farah's eyes. She gave us quite a bit of hours to do so killing a good amount of time until it was dark outside. Now it was evening and we'd be off to have a fancy dinner before hitting the club. The dinner lasted a few hours before partying all night became the night's mood. Farah and the other adults didn't stay with us as they didn't plan to stay out until morning. Instead, we were sent with a driver and a few of her best men to watch after us.

Now was the time for us to let loose as they were gone and only the young adults remained. Thanks to Farah, we were sectioned off in a VIP section where we would stay to not get in trouble. The club was lively and the music blasted throughout. It was on a rooftop making for even more fun! I had never been to anything like this before and my body couldn't help but dance to the music.

Before that, Kameron of course wanted to make a toast. "Look ladies, I know we are all a bit divided and Jenna you didn't want some of us to show up here," she started.

"Yes, that much is true." Jenna agreed. "I thought it would ruin everything."

Kameron smiled. "But, I'm glad that I was able to spend a few weeks with you all. Congratulations on your marriage Jenna!"

We cheered. I am more reserved because I didn't know what Cyrus was going to do. He said everything would be worked out in the end so I doubt he would be marrying Jenna. That is until he realizes what's been going on. Once he finds that out he could end up settling like every person does when they don't get what they want. Still, it felt wrong to congratulate her when I was seeing the person she was supposed to be marrying. It felt dirty in a way.

Even with those sentiments, it didn't stop me from having a good time with them. After the toast, we all divulged ourselves in some alcohol and partied like there was no tomorrow. I mean we were standing in the seats dancing. Sienna went around to all of us with a bottle pouring drinks down our throats. Twila almost fell off the table when she was trying to climb on it. Bradyn kept whining about Ashton as she kept getting wasted out of her mind. Ocean threw up. I started feeling sicker and sicker the more I drank. Then Kameron kept going on and on about her career that nobody wanted to listen to at the moment. The only one seemingly normal was Jenna but even she was messed up as she kept spilling her drinks on herself. It also didn't help that we played the chugging game to see who could last the longest. Kira beats us all at that one.

We were having so much fun, it was almost ashamed that we had to leave at 2 in the morning. The men that Farah sent us had to drag us back to the limo. I know their night wasn't fun in the slightest with a bunch of wasted females. Luckily things settled down as we got inside riding back to the Hadid estate. Everyone pretty much passed out on the way back except for Jenna and I. I'm sure we were both messed up but I couldn't sleep for some reason.

Riding in silence some more, Jenna hit me with something I was not expecting her to do. "So, you went to Penshaw with Cyrus for two days, huh?"

That startled me, knocking me out of my dazed state even just for a moment. "What...no I wasn't," I lied.

Jenna was smarter than that though. "Autumn, I'm not an idiot," she says. "He disappeared for two days and you were nowhere to be found."

"I don't go to their house every day Jenna. I could have been doing anything." I argued.

"But you were with Cyrus," she didn't let it go. "Just admit it."

There's a slight chance that if I did admit it she would forget this conversation in the morning. We all drank so much I doubt if I'd even remember the events of tonight. It didn't seem smart to admit to going with him though. If she did remember then there's no doubt that she would relay the message to Farah who will then tell Cyrus everything. Although Jenna was right, I would not give her the satisfaction of knowing that truth. I'm the one that was going to tell Cyrus the truth. They weren't taking that away from me.

Shaking my head, I turned my head away from her not willing to look in her eyes. "I think the alcohol is getting to you," I avoid telling her.

Jenna was stubborn though. "Cut the shit, Autumn. I know you were because magically he started paying attention to me again." She crossed her arms. "Now why would he do that without feeling guilty about something?"

She got me there but I still wouldn't admit it. "Because I told him to," I say.

Her eyes looked at me confused. "What?" She asks.

"I told him to," I repeat.

That stumped her but that wasn't something to lie about. I did tell Cyrus to keep paying attention to his wife. Although it's not something my ears wanted to know, I'm glad he was following through with what we discussed. Instead of taking that the way we thought, she still ended up thinking we were together. Luckily, she's allowed to think whatever she wants. As long as I didn't admit to anything she couldn't run back to Farah. There wasn't any concrete proof that they could use against me and I intend to keep it that way.

Jenna, taken aback, looked at me very confused. "Why? Why would you do that?" She asked me very lost.

I shrugged. "That's what you wanted, right?" I questioned.

"Yes, but not because you made him do it," she sat back. "I wanted him to do it because he wants to. That was happening until you showed up."

Now she was just annoying me. "Well Jenna, you got him in an underhanded way now you have to deal with the consequences." I didn't sugarcoat a thing. "Cyrus is his own person and I'll never tell you if I was with him in Penshaw or not but I did tell him to pay more attention to you. Do of that what you will."

This conversation was starting to bore me and I wasn't ever going to admit to being in Penshaw. What I will admit is that I told him to treat her better. At the end of the day, he was marrying her as far as I'm concerned. If it weren't for her sneaky ways, I'd be in her position right now. This would be Cyrus and I waiting to be wed. She wanted so desperately to get with a man that didn't love her so now she was going to deal with it. The only other option was for her to call it off but she would never do such a thing. If anything, Jenna should be grateful I even told him to that. He wouldn't if I didn't say otherwise.

Jenna looked at me for what felt like ages before settling back in her seat. Hearing that couldn't have been good news for her but it was reality. There wasn't much she could do about it. Cyrus was making his own decisions. If he didn't love her maybe she shouldn't be settling.
