Panicked Lying

I shook my head. “No,” I whimpered.
“To which question, Annaria?” My mother asked.
“Both?” I whispered.
My father pushed the door open, and they all filed past me. “Too bad! We paid for this room!”
“Dad! Please,” I begged as panic rose. They were going to find out that I had been with Gerry. “Wait!”
I frantically linked Gerry to tell him that our parents and brother were here, to which he didn’t respond, making me panic even more.
Osprey took a deep breath before turning to frown at me. “What did Gerald have to say about you sleeping with someone?”
I stared at him. “He…he wasn’t happy.”
“I assume he wouldn’t be. Is it he who told you to get Plan B?” My father asked.
“Uhmmmm…”
“Yes. It was. It’s nice to see you guys,” Gerald said as he walked in. “I do think it was incredibly irresponsible that nobody linked me to tell me that Annie was coming to Grimm Forest so I could protect her. If someone had, she wouldn’t need Plan B.”
I stared at him in shock as he dropped his duffel bag beside the bed closest to the door before kicking his boots off. He pulled one of the boxes of Plan B out of his duffel bag and tossed it to me.
“Here. Take it.”
I hesitated before opening the box. I took the pill while my family watched.
“I want you to tell me how, in less than 24 hours away from home, you met someone and had unprotected sex,” my father said.
“I…”
“Easy. She got drunk at a bar, which, by the way,” he said, walking over to my wallet to pull out Priscila’s ID. “You should give this back to Priscila. She made a mistake, and as far as mistakes go, it is not even on the top ten worst mistakes our family has made.”
“No, maybe not. But beating the hell out of a pharmacist and two techs to get sixteen Plan B pills might,” Timothy snarled at Gerald, who shrugged.
“She needed the pill. I got it for her. End of story.”
Before anyone could move, Timothy had Gerry pinned against the wall by his throat. “I am so sick of your fucking attitude, boy. We are your parents, and you will not speak to us that way! Whatever this is, you need to get over it! No woman is worth this!”
As soon as the words slipped out of his mouth, he closed his mouth tightly. He let Gerry go to turn around to face my mother.
“Tasha, I-”
She held her hand up to silence him. “We came here to handle our children. I will deal with you later. Why don’t you go wait in the lobby until we’re done here? You’re too angry to be here.” She turned to look at me. “Annie, come along; we should talk.”
“I… Gerald and I are moving in together,” I blurted.
Everyone froze.
“What?” My father asked. “WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED?!”
Gerry chuckled. “Annie needs to be protected. I’m here, so we’re moving in together so I can ensure her safety.”
He met my eyes. ‘And so that I can continue to ravish you,’ he linked.
I cleared my throat as I looked away, trying to fight my arousal. “I was with a wolf in the bar. I got drunk. We had sex in the bathroom. Gerry found me, beat the wolf up, and then made sure that I made it home safely. He took care of me all night. When we woke up, we went to get Plan B and then went to lunch, where we discussed living together. I thought it would be a smart move. He could help me while I was away from home,” Marsha said smugly.
“EVERYONE STOP!” Osprey roared, letting his aura out. He took a deep breath. “Get out! Everyone, get out!”
“Osprey-”
He turned to glare at our parents. “I said get out. Raul was right about you guys not knowing what was right for us. I will handle it.”
Our parents exchanged looks before walking out of the room, leaving Osprey, Gerry, and I alone together. Osprey nodded his head at Gerry’s duffel bag.
“Please tell me you have beer or, better yet, tequila in there. Mom and Dads have been crazy since the Alpha of Grimm Forest called them to tell on you like a little bitch,” Osprey said.
Gerry walked over to grab a bottle of clear alcohol out of his bag. I cleared my throat.
“Ummm, can I get dressed?” I asked.
Osprey picked up my dress from the night before, sniffing it before tossing it to me.
“Smells like a wolf and Gerry and arousal. Care to explain?” Osprey asked.
“I had sex with the…” I started before falling silent when he held his hand.
“It smells like Gerald’s arousal. Explain.”
“I was with a woman before I found Annie. When I carried her out of the bar, it must have transferred,” Gerry told him.
“Are you lying to me?” Osprey asked, pinning Gerry with a glare.
“No.”
“Is Annie the girl you ran away from?” He continued to question.
“No.”
“Then who was it?”
“Agatha.”
My jaw clenched at the mention of his best friend from school. I had always hated her. She had been welcomed into our home, and everyone thought that they were going to be mates, but they weren’t.
“Are you lying?” Osprey asked.
“No.”
“So if I aura you and ask you again, your answer won’t change?”
“No,” Gerry said confidently, making me even more nervous.
Osprey turned his steely gaze on me, and my butthole clenched tightly. I immediately lowered my eyes. The worst thing I could do was make him think I was challenging him.
“Are you fucking Gerald, Annaria?” He asked me.
Marsha pushed forward to raise my head, so I was looking into his eyes. “No.”
“Ah, Marsha. Welcome to the party. Are you sleeping with Kraven?” He repeated his question while letting his aura out in full blast.
My legs buckled, and I cried out as my knees slammed into the floor. I tried to fight it, but I had never been able to overcome his aura. It was simply too strong. Osprey walked up to me, and his aura got stronger, making my body begin to twitch as pain surged through my veins.
“Are. You. Sleeping. With. Gerald. Or. Kraven, Annaria?”
“I-” Kraven exploded through our link, shielding us from Osprey’s power. I lowered my head. “N-no, Osprey. It was a wolf,” I sobbed.
Osprey immediately pulled his aura back, releasing me from its chokehold. I sank to the floor, sobbing as I curled up in the fetal position. Osprey knelt beside me, reaching out to touch me, and I whimpered as I tried to scoot away from him. He sighed, his hand fisting before he put it on his thigh.
“Annie, I’m sorry, but I had to be certain. Things are really weird between the two of you. You guys were so close, and then all of a sudden you weren’t. Now you are again. I’m sorry for thinking that,” Osprey said.
“I missed him, ‘Sprey,” I admitted. “We spent several hours working through all of our problems. That’s what happened.”
“Why did you two even fight?” He asked.
“Because I wasn’t ready to be without him. You know how much I relied on him. He was my favorite sibling, and he just left. He didn’t tell me why. He didn’t talk to me. And now I know why he didn’t,” I lied, sitting up.
“So, this is all because he came to Grimm Forest?”
“Yes. How would you feel if Elena left without telling you why?”
I saw the sadness pass over his face before he nodded.
“That I understand. I would hunt her down and drag her ass home,” he chuckled.
“Exactly, but I couldn’t do that.”
He sighed. “I get it. Alright, listen. This is how it’s going to go. You two have one week to find a place to rent. You two will come home for every holiday, and we will be making surprise visits to your home. I will tell our parents that this is the agreement, but I swear to the Goddess, if I find out you are lying to me, I will drag you home and you will be punished.”
I threw my arms around his neck, pecking his cheek. “Thank you, ‘Sprey.”
“You’re welcome, Annie.” He stood up to face Gerry, studying him intensely. “And you: you are to stop giving our parents hell. They are still the Alpha Boars and Alpha Sow. They can pull you out of here with a snap of their fingers if they want to. And then nobody would be here to protect Annie. Make your choice, Gerald, because this behavior is getting old.”
He lowered his head, and I knew it irritated him to have to do so. “Yes, Osprey.”
Osprey rolled his shoulders back. “Well, now that is handled, get dressed and meet us downstairs. We should have dinner before we head back to our sleuth.”
“Okay. We will be down in fifteen minutes,” Gerry said.
“Okay. Make it fast. I could eat a whole deer!” Osprey said.
“Or a desk,” I giggled.
He groaned. “Shut up, Annie.”
When Osprey walked out of the room, Gerry pressed his ear against the door, listening for a minute before smirking at me as he began to cross the room. He picked me up and set me down on the dresser before sinking to his knees. He yanked my towel off before spreading my legs. He looked up at me hungrily.
“I’m hungry too, Bannannie.” He slid a finger into me with his eyes glued to mine. “Better cum fast, baby. Our family is waiting for us.”
When his tongue touched my clit, my body bucked while my head dropped back. “Yes, Gerry. I’ll try.”
