Hour of Stolen Time
I put Annie on the bed before reaching down to slowly pull her nightgown off. When she lay before me completely as the Goddess intended her to be, I let my eyes slowly run down her body as I stripped my clothes off. She licked her lips as she spread her legs in invitation. I immediately stepped between them, sliding my fingers up and down her already wet slit.
“So ready for me, my little beautiful Annie,” I groaned. “You’re always so ready for me.”
I took my cock in my hand, slowly moving it up and down while I slid a finger into her. She raised her hips helplessly to make my finger go deeper into her as I continued to stroke myself. When I couldn’t take her soft moans anymore, I pulled my finger out to replace it with my hard shaft. Her back immediately arched and I groaned as her pussy immediately began to squeeze me. I put her leg over my waist as I pulled out, placing her other one on my other side as I slid back in. I leaned down to kiss her, sliding my hands up the mattress, tracing her body.
“Logan!” She panted.
“Goddess, I love it when you moan my name, baby. Do it again,” I ordered.
“LOGAN!” she cried louder.
“Again,” I growled.
Her hands went to my back, clawing down it as she arched her back more while meeting my eyes. “Logan,” she moaned breathlessly.
I let my head drop back as a guttural, feral noise came from my throat. “Annie!”
Her legs tightened around me, keeping me buried deep inside of her as her body spasmed and her pussy strangled my cock. She clawed down my back again before reaching up to pull me down so she could sink her teeth into my throat. My body immediately jerked as I released my load deep inside of her. I kissed her tenderly as I pulled out of her to lay beside her. She immediately curled up on my chest while I reached down for the blankets to cover us. She ran her fingers over my chest, and just like it always did, it soothed my very soul. I wrapped an arm around her shoulder, holding her close to my side.
“Annie?” I called softly.
“Yes, Logan?” She immediately answered.
“The little girl you’re carrying, she’s not mine, is she?” I asked slowly.
She immediately stiffened, her hand stilling on my chest. “What?”
“You heard me, Annie. You said that we’re not here when she’s growing up. Just tell me, is she biologically mine?”
She raised up a little to look down at me with tears glittering on her eyelashes. “Logan…”
I took her hand and brought it to my lips to press a soft kiss to the back of it. “Just tell me, Annie. Is she mine?”
She sat up on the edge of the bed, clutching the blankets to her chest. I reached out to touch her shoulder.
“Annie, sweetheart, it’s not going to change anything. I just want to know,” I murmured quietly.
“So, if it doesn’t matter, then why do you want to know?” She asked.
I shifted on the bed so that I was sitting behind her with both legs on either side of hers. I wrapped my arms around her waist as I put my chin on her shoulder.
“Because I want to know every single reason why he deserves to die. Treating you like he did was enough to warrant his death,” I told her as I moved one hand over to rest on her stomach. “If he is the biological father of our–mine and your– daughter, I’m going to make sure he dies even more painfully. Our little girl deserves the world. She deserves to have her mother and a loving father. She deserves to be the apple of her parents’ eyes. Everything he is doing now is putting stress on you while you’re carrying her, which puts her at risk, and I don’t like it. I worry about you and her. I already love her. Either way, she is half you. If she’s half me, that would be amazing, but if she’s half him, I’d love her more.”
“You would?” Annie whispered.
“Yes, Annaria, I would,” I confirmed.
“Why?”
“Because she would need me more than she would if she was mine. I would work harder to make sure she never had a doubt that she was mine. She would be a daddy’s girl and I would be the proudest girl dad that ever existed.” I kissed her neck. “Not saying that I wouldn’t love our children the same way, but I think if she was Gerald’s, she would need a little extra reassurance sometimes and I want to be the person to be able to do that for her. Besides, I know for as much as you hate him right now for everything that he has done, you still love the brother that he once was. If she’s his, you would still have a piece of him after he’s gone.”
She slowly turned around to wrap herself around me tightly. “You’re so good to me, Logan. I love you.”
“I love you too, Annie.”
She buried her face in my neck. “No, our little girl is not yours, but she is yours in every way that matters. You love her and have been here for both of us since we found out she existed. And I can’t wait to see her in your arms. I–”
She fell silent as a little whimper escaped from her lips. I leaned back so I could kiss her softly.
“We’re going to be there to see her grow up, Annie. We will figure this out. We have too,” I whispered.
She rapidly blinked in an attempt to keep her tears from falling. “You didn’t promise. You know we’re going to die.”
I shook my head. “I will never make promises to you that I am not sure I can keep.” I ran my hands down her body to grip her ass. “But I promise you that I am going to try to ensure your and our daughter’s wellbeing.”
She put her forehead against mine. “I guess we should go talk about how we’re going to save Havana. I can hear everyone gathering by the office.”
I groaned. “Alright, but when we’re done talking, I want to come back here and make love to you all night,” I told her.
‘Like it was the last time,’ Luge finished for me inside my head, making me have to bite back a sigh.
I lightly smacked Annie’s ass. “Okay. Let’s go, baby.”
She climbed off my lap and began to get dressed. Once we were done, I took Annie’s hand, squeezing it a little as we walked. I smiled at the three people who were waiting for us outside of my office. I nodded my head to the inside.
“Come on. Let’s get this over with,” I told them.
They followed us inside, where I sat in my chair before tugging Annie down onto my lap. Scarlett’s and Giselda’s lips lifted up when I wrapped my arms around her waist while pressing a kiss to her neck.
“So, we have a little over 100 bears here. We could send them to your sleuth in small groups with half of our warriors to protect them,” I started off.
“How many warriors do you have?” Osprey asked.
“About 65. All of our bears go through warrior training, and can be used as one. Only minor bears along with the elderly aren’t included in that number,” Giselda answered before I could. “And Milton had been working with them so they have learned things that they didn’t know before. He may have only been here for a short time but he was amazing.”
Scarlett reached out to take her hands. “Yes, Giselda, he was. He was certainly a blessing.”
I nodded. “We will forever be grateful for him. I couldn’t have chosen a better mate to stand by your side than him, cousin.”
She gave me a watery smile. “Thank you, Logan.”
“I think we should all go at the same time,” Annie said. “‘I think we should leave first. You, me, and Giselda. Osprey should stick close to us while Scarlett stays with the sleuth.”
“ABSOLUTELY NOT!” Osprey immediately roared. “Scarlett stays by my side. There is no other way this happens. I’ll help you, Annie, but I will stay by Letti’s side!”
Annie sighed as she nodded. “Alright. Then you can travel with our sleuth. You have to make sure Havana reaches your sleuth safely. Logan, Giselda, and I will lead him away from our sleuth to give them the best chance to make it.” She swallowed hard. “Promise me that you will take care of them, Osprey. They mean everything to me and-and I am worried that he will hurt them.”
“I promise to take care of them, Annie, but you don’t have to worry so much. You will be safe with Giselda and Logan. After we get your sleuth to safety, Elena and the rest of our hunting party will join you three. With all of us teaming up, and you three knowing what he smells like, we will find him and we will eliminate him so that you will be safe too,” Osprey told her.
She sighed. “That’s such a lovely thought, but I already know what my future holds. I die and so does Giselda. My only hope is that I can save Logan. Havana will need him and so will our daught–”
I slammed my hand down on the table. “Goddess dammit, Annaria! Stop fucking saying that. You are not going to die. I am not going to die! Our daughter will have both of us,” I snarled.
She looked up at me from under her eyelashes. “Logan, you know what I’m saying is true.”
I bared my teeth at her warningly. “Enough with that talk, Annie! I’m serious! If you want to draw Gerald away from our sleuth to give them the best chance possible, we will! But you will not sacrifice yourself to protect us if he is truly out there. Do you understand me?”
“Y-yes, Logan.”
“Swear it!” I growled.
“I swear that I won’t offer myself up as a way to try to protect you,” she sniffled, making me groan.
“Annie, I’m sorry. I just can’t stand the thought of losing you. You are my everything. And I need you. I need you to fight. I need you to survive so our daughter will have both of us,” I told her softly.
“I know, Logan. I’m sorry,” she whispered.
“It’s okay, baby.” I kissed her neck softly. “When should we move them?”
“As soon as possible,” Osprey said. “We have no idea where Gerald is. For all we know he could be waiting just outside of the gates. He knows how to mask his scent. We all did, which is why we could use them,” he said, tilting his head to gesture to both Annie and Giselda. “They were both marked by him at one point. The bond that is created when marked leaves behind a six sense for when he’s around. It will be better than having his scent.”
“Alright. What about tomorrow afternoon? Give our sleuth members time to pack,” I suggested.
“No! They don’t need to pack, Logan. My parents and birth sleuth will make sure they have everything they need. You, me, and Giselda should leave at dawn. Osprey, Scarlett and our warriors can lead the rest of our sleuth out a few hours later.”
Osprey sighed while he nodded. “She’s right, Logan. It would be better to just leave in the morning.”
“Alright. First thing in the morning then.” I stood up, easily lifting Annie with me. “We should all get some rest. Dawn comes early.”
I carried Annie out of my office and back into our room where I walked straight to the bathroom. I set her down on the counter before pressing my forehead against hers.
“Annie, in case we don’t make it, I just want you to know that I’m glad I found you. I’ve been in love with you since before we met in person. And I wouldn’t change anything that happened between us for anything in this world.” I kissed her softly. “I love you, my beautiful alpha sow, mother of my child, and mate.”
She wrapped her arms around my neck, sinking her fingers into the hair on the nape of my neck as she molded her lips to mine. “And I love you, my alpha boar, father of my child, and most importantly, my mate, both chosen and fated.”
