Chapter 42
Chapter 42
Reyna walked towards the bar counter, her hips swaying to the music as she moved. The bartender, a tall, muscular man with a charming smile, looked up as she approached. "Hey, beautiful! What can I get you tonight?"
Reyna flashed him a flirtatious smile, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "I'll have a 'Sunite Special', please. And make it strong."
The bartender raised an eyebrow, impressed by her boldness. "Coming right up. And for your friend?" he asked, nodding towards Anna.
Reyna turned to Anna, who was standing behind her, looking a bit overwhelmed by the crowds and the music. "Anna, what do you want to drink?"
Anna hesitated, unsure of what to order. "I...I don't know. What's good here?"
Reyna laughed, a throaty sound that drew the attention of several nearby men. "Don't worry, I'll order for you. Bartender, give us two 'Sunite Specials'."
The bartender nodded, his hands moving quickly as he mixed their drinks. "Coming right up, ladies."
As they waited for their drinks, Reyna turned to Anna and shouted over the music, "I'm so glad we came here tonight! This is exactly what we needed."
Anna nodded, still looking a bit uncomfortable. "Yeah, it's definitely...lively."
Reyna grinned, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "That's what I love about this place. It's always alive, always pulsing with energy."
Their drinks arrived, and Reyna handed one to Anna. "Here, try this. It's got a bit of everything in it."
Anna took a tentative sip, her eyes widening in surprise. "Wow, this is strong!"
Reyna laughed, clinking her glass against Anna's. "That's the idea! Now, let's dance!"
As they stepped onto the crowded dance floor, Reyna grasped Anna's hand, pulling her close. Anna hesitated, her eyes scanning the sea of strangers around them. The men's lecherous stares made her skin crawl, their eyes roving over her body like predators.
Reyna, oblivious to Anna's discomfort, shouted over the music, "Come on, Anna! Let loose! Forget your worries and dance!"
Anna tried to protest, but Reyna couldn't hear her. She leaned in close, her voice hoarse from shouting over the music. "I don't want to dance! I feel uncomfortable!"
Reyna's eyes sparkled with mischief. "Are you feeling shy? Don't be! Just let go and enjoy the music!"
Anna's reluctance slowly gave way to the infectious beat and the burning sensation of the alcohol. She felt lightheaded, her body swaying to the music despite her initial reservations.
The men around them cheered, their sultry comments and whistles filling the air. "Wow, look at them go!" one of them shouted. "Those two are on fire!"
Reyna laughed, her eyes shining with excitement. "See, Anna? I told you it would be fun! Let's give them a show!"
As they danced, their bodies moved in perfect sync, their hips swaying to the rhythm. The crowd around them grew thicker, the men pressing in for a closer look. Anna's initial discomfort gave way to a sense of abandon, the music and alcohol combining to free her from her inhibitions.
Fernandez stormed into the mansion, his eyes scanning the empty halls for any sign of Anna or Reyna. "Where is the madam and the young mistress?" he demanded, his voice cold and menacing.
The Butler, who had been standing quietly in the corner, hesitated before speaking. "I-I don't know, sir. They left about an hour ago."
Fernandez's eyes narrowed. "What do you mean you don't know? Were you not instructed to keep me informed of their whereabouts at all times?"
The Butler trembled, knowing he was in trouble. "I-I'm sorry, sir. I didn't think it was important to disturb you."
Sarah, the maid, who had been watching the exchange, suddenly piped up. "They went to a club, Master! I saw them leaving in their dresses and everything!"
The Butler's eyes widened in horror as Fernandez's face turned red with rage. "You allowed them to go to a club at this time of day? Without informing me?"
The servants all lined up, knowing they were in for a scolding. "I'm sorry, sir. We didn't think it was our place to question their actions."
Fernandez's face turned beet red with rage as he slammed his fist on the table. "How could you all be so incompetent?!" he thundered, his voice echoing off the walls. "I explicitly instructed you to keep me informed of their whereabouts at all times! And now, you're telling me they've gone to a club without my knowledge or permission?"
Fernandez's anger was a palpable force, making the air in the room vibrate with tension. "You didn't think it was your place?!" he repeated, his voice dripping with venom. "I pay you to think! I pay you to anticipate my needs and ensure my instructions are carried out!"
He turned to the Butler. "Get Mr. Thompson on the phone. Now."
The Butler scurried to obey, his hands shaking as he dialed the number.
Fernandez's voice was low and deadly. "Mr. Thompson, I need you to track down Anna and Reyna's whereabouts. They've gone to a club, and I need to know which one. Now."
Mr. Thompson's voice was calm and professional. "Yes, sir. I'll get right on it."
Fernandez's anger was still simmering, his jaw clenched in frustration. "See that you do. I want to know where they are and what they're doing. And I want to know now."
As Anna swayed to the music, a hand suddenly grasped her waist, pulling her close. She stopped dancing, her eyes flashing with anger as she glared at the person. But her anger turned to fear as she saw the mask covering his face.
"Who are you?" Anna shouted, trying to wriggle free from his grasp.
The man chuckled, his voice low and menacing. "You're looking so sexy tonight, I don't think you could forget me so far?"
Anna's heart skipped a beat as she recognized the voice. Jason. She was seriously scared, and Reyna was oblivious to the danger, lost in the music.
"Reyna!" Anna yelled, but her voice was drowned out by the music.
Jason just laughed, his eyes glinting with cruelty. "Shout all you want, nobody can save you now."
Anna's desperation turned to terror as Jason tried to kiss her forcefully. She struggled, but he was too strong.
Just as all hope seemed lost, a punch landed on Jason's face, sending him stumbling back.
