Chapter 55

Chapter 55
Reyna slid into the sleek, black Lamborghini, feeling a rush of adrenaline as she started the engine. She put the car in gear and accelerated, the speedometer climbing rapidly as she sped towards Leonardo Rossi's villa.

To get herself pumped up, she turned on the music - a energetic mix of electronic dance music, with pulsating beats and synthesized melodies. The likes of David Guetta and Calvin Harris filled the air, and Reyna couldn't help but rock to the rhythm, her hands tapping on the steering wheel.

As she approached the villa, the same muscular guy with a scary face opened the gate, his expression unchanging. But this time, he didn't ask for her identity card. Instead, he nodded curtly and stepped aside, allowing Reyna to drive in.

As she entered the villa's grounds, the guard couldn't help but stare at the Lamborghini, his eyes widening in surprise. He shook his head, wondering why someone who could afford such an expensive car would want to work as an assistant to Leonardo Rossi. He muttered to himself, "Must be a curious case..." before returning to his post.

Reyna, oblivious to the guard's thoughts, pulled up to the villa's entrance, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves. She took a deep breath, grabbed her bag, and stepped out of the car, ready to start her new journey as Leonardo Rossi's assistant.

Reyna stepped out of the Lamborghini and into the villa, her heels clicking on the marble floor. She was greeted by the stern-looking lady, who eyed her disapprovingly.

"Good morning, madam!" Reyna said, trying to sound cheerful.

The lady glared at her, checking her wristwatch. "It's ten minutes past eight, and you're already late. Are you sure you're efficient? And, by the way, it's 'miss', not 'madam'."

Reyna felt a twinge of nervousness, but before she could respond, Leonardo Rossi's warm laughter filled the room.

"Ah, why wouldn't they call you 'madam' when you're always frowning, Miss...?" He chuckled, his eyes twinkling with amusement.

The lady's expression softened slightly, and she smiled wryly. "Leo, good morning."

Leonardo Rossi turned to Reyna, his smile warm and welcoming. "Good morning, Reyna. How was your night?"

Reyna's heart lifted at his kind tone. "It was good, sir. Thank you for asking."

"I guess you two haven't introduced each other!" Leonardo Rossi said, his smile captivating Reyna. His one-sided dimple added to his charm, and his messy hair was styled perfectly, with a hint of texture and a subtle swoop to the side. He wore a tailored navy blue suit, fitted to perfection, with a crisp white shirt and a slim silver tie. His outfit exuded elegance and sophistication, fitting for a renowned actor.

Reyna was lost in his handsomeness, her eyes locked on his face. She felt a flutter in her chest, and her palms grew slightly sweaty.

The stern-looking lady cleared her throat, breaking the spell. "I'm Giulia Bianchi, Leo's manager, and his childhood friend" she said, her voice firm but with a hint of warmth.

Reyna smiled, extending her hand for a handshake. "I'm Antonio Reyna, Leo's Personal Assistant."

Giulia's handshake was firm, her eyes narrowing slightly as she assessed Reyna. "Welcome, Reyna. I expect great things from you."

Reyna couldn't help but think that Giulia was only Leo's manager, yet she seemed so hateful. She wondered what had caused Giulia's stern demeanor, but pushed the thought aside, focusing on her new role.

Leonardo Rossi chuckled, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "Giulia, don't scare Reyna off just yet. She's just started."

Giulia's expression softened, and she smiled wryly. "I'm just trying to keep her in line, Leo."

Gulia stared at Reyna and said with an uptight expression, "Leo has a busy schedule today and you are his assistant, I hope I don't have to tell you what to do?"

Giulia's words hung in the air, and Reyna felt a surge of panic. She had no idea what to do, and Giulia's expectant gaze made her feel even more anxious.

But before Giulia could say anything else, Leonardo Rossi intervened, his voice calm and soothing. "Giulia, you know it's her first day of work, so please explain things to her."

Giulia sighed, her expression softening slightly. "Fine," she muttered under her breath. "Reyna, as Leo's assistant, you'll need to pack his essentials for the shoot today. He's playing the male lead, so he'll need his script, water, and a specific type of coffee. And, of course, his favorite snacks."

Reyna nodded eagerly, trying to absorb every detail. Giulia handed her a list, and Reyna scanned it quickly, feeling a sense of relief wash over her.

Meanwhile, Leonardo Rossi was busy fielding phone calls from his various girlfriends. He flirted shamelessly, his voice low and husky as he responded with sweet words. Reyna couldn't help but feel a pang of surprise - she had no idea he was a playboy.

Giulia noticed Reyna's expression and rolled her eyes. "I guess you've seen it, he's a big playboy, Reyna. He's a charming devil, if you get fooled that's your choice but he's also a professional. Just remember, his schedule."

Reyna nodded, feeling a sense of determination. She was going to prove herself, no matter what.

Leonardo Rossi emerged from the villa, his phone still glued to his ear. He winked at Reyna, and she felt a flutter in her chest. She was in for a wild ride, she thought, smiling to herself.

As Leonardo Rossi settled into the van, he plugged in his earbuds and continued his phone conversation, his voice loud and clear. Reyna, seated beside him, couldn't help but overhear his vulgar words, spoken in a deep Italian accent.

"Yes, last night was colorful...I can still remember the taste of your lips and how I savored your body." Reyna's lips twitched, and a blush crept up her cheeks as she tried to focus on the road ahead.

Leonardo Rossi's phone calls continued, each one more brazen than the last. Reyna's eyes widened as she listened, shocked by his blatant disregard for the women on the other end of the line.

When his phone rang again, Reyna handed it to him, trying to maintain a neutral expression. But inside, she was reeling. Was this how it would continue? She had no idea Leonardo Rossi was such a big-time playboy.

"Stella, no, I told you I don't meet a girl more than once," he said, his voice firm but dismissive. "Yes, I clearly remember your bouncy tit, but I'm sorry, don't call me again."

Reyna felt a mix of emotions: shock, disgust, and a hint of fascination. She had never met anyone like Leonardo Rossi before. As the van ride continued, she wondered what other surprises lay in store for her as his assistant.
