Chapter 50

Chapter 50
Reyna slipped into the black, tight, knee-length off-shoulder dress, the fabric hugging her curves in all the right places. She curled her long, brown hair, and it cascaded down her fair shoulder bone, framing her heart-shaped face. A light dusting of makeup enhanced her features, and a bold red lipstick added a pop of color to her look. She stepped into a pair of matching black stilettos, the heels clicking on the floor as she made her way to the living room.
Anna's eyes widened as Reyna twirled around her, the dress swirling around her knees. "Wow, Reyna! You look stunning!" Anna exclaimed, her voice full of admiration.
Reyna beamed with pride, her eyes sparkling with confidence. "Thanks, Anna! I feel amazing in this dress."
Anna stood up, her eyes scanning Reyna's outfit. "You look super hot, Reyna! I'm sure you'll make a great impression at the interview."
Reyna smiled, her lips curving upwards. "Thanks, Anna. I hope so too. I really need this job."
Anna placed a hand on Reyna's shoulder, her eyes serious. "You'll get it, Reyna. I just know it. You're talented, smart, and beautiful. They'd be crazy to pass you up."
Reyna's eyes misted, her voice filled with emotion. "Thanks, Anna. That means a lot coming from you."
Anna smiled, her eyes warm. "I'm just telling the truth, Reyna. Now go out there and crush that interview!"
Reyna nodded, taking a deep breath. "I will. Wish me luck!"
Anna nodded, her hands clasped together. "Good luck, Reyna! I'll be praying for you."
Reyna smiled, her eyes shining with determination. "Thanks, Anna. I'll need all the luck I can get."
With a final nod, Reyna turned and headed out the door, boarding a cab and leaving for the interview.
As Reyna arrived at the address, her eyes widened in awe as she beheld the breathtaking villa before her. The majestic structure was nestled amidst lush greenery and vibrant gardens, exuding an air of opulence and sophistication. The villa's facade was a masterful blend of rustic Tuscan charm and modern elegance, with cream-colored stone walls, terracotta rooftops, and ornate ironwork.
The entrance was flanked by two imposing stone columns, supporting a grand archway adorned with intricate carvings. The heavy wooden doors, polished to a warm sheen, bore the name "Leonardo Rossi" in bold, golden lettering.
Vines and ivy crawled up the walls, adding a touch of whimsy and romance to the villa's grandeur. The windows, adorned with ornate shutters, sparkled like diamonds in the sunlight, offering glimpses into the lavish interior.
A meandering driveway, lined with cypress trees and fragrant lemon groves, led to a spacious courtyard, where a stunning fountain danced with crystal clear water. The air was alive with the sweet scent of blooming flowers and the soft chirping of birds, creating a serene and enchanting atmosphere.
Reyna's eyes roamed the villa's exterior, her mind struggling to comprehend the sheer scale and beauty of Leonardo Rossi's Tuscan retreat. She felt as though she had entered a fairy tale, and the villa was the majestic castle at its heart.
As Reyna approached the gate, she knocked on it, and a towering, muscular man with a chiseled jawline and piercing blue eyes opened the door. His expression was stern, and his gaze seemed to bore into her soul. Reyna offered him a tight smile, trying to appear confident.
"I'm here for the interview," she said, her voice steady.
The man nodded curtly, his lips pressed together in a thin line. "You can come in," he replied, his deep voice firm but expressionless.
As Reyna entered the villa, she couldn't help but gaze around in wonder. The interior was just as breathtaking as the exterior, with high ceilings, marble floors, and lavish furnishings. A stunning fountain stood in the center of the courtyard, water dancing from the mouth of a stone mermaid.
Reyna's eyes were fixed on the beautiful scenery when a harsh voice snapped her back to reality.
"Aren't you here for the interview? Why don't you watch where you're going?"
Reyna turned to face the speaker, taken aback by the rudeness. A tall, slender woman with long, curly brown hair and a pinched expression stood before her, arms crossed.
"I-I'm sorry," Reyna stuttered, feeling a flush rise to her cheeks. "I was just admiring the view."
The woman raised an eyebrow. "Save it for later. You're here for an interview, not a sightseeing tour. Follow me."
Reyna nodded, still feeling a bit shaken, and followed the woman through the winding corridors of the villa.
Reyna followed the stern-looking lady to the living room, her heels clicking on the marble floor. The room was elegantly furnished, with plush sofas and armchairs arranged around a polished coffee table. Three ladies were seated, their faces tense and anxious, their eyes fixed on Reyna as she entered. Reyna wondered why they looked so unhappy, but she quickly scolded herself mentally for getting distracted. She needed to focus on her own interview.
The stern woman gestured for Reyna to take a seat, and she complied, smoothing her dress and trying to appear confident. As she sat down, she noticed a lady emerging from a side room, looking visibly unhappy. Her eyes were red-rimmed, and her face was pinched, as if she had just received bad news. Reyna's curiosity was piqued, but she pushed it aside, focusing on her own turn.
One by one, the ladies who had been seated in the living room stood up and entered the side room, each emerging with the same unhappy expression. Reyna's heart began to race, her mind racing with worst-case scenarios. What was going on in that room?
Finally, it was Reyna's turn. She took a deep breath, placed the stray strand of hair that had fallen across her face behind her ear, and stood up, smoothing her dress. She followed the stern woman into the side room, her heart pounding in her chest.
As Reyna entered the room, the stern-looking lady turned and left, closing the door behind her. Reyna found herself alone with a person whose back was facing her. She thought she had a moment to herself, and her eyes began to scan the room.
The space was elegantly decorated, with dark wood paneling and leather-bound books lining the shelves. A massive mahogany desk dominated the center of the room, with a high-backed chair behind it. And on the walls, Reyna's eyes widened as she took in the sight of framed photographs of Leonardo Rossi - the actor she had idolized for years.
There he was, posing on the red carpet, looking dashing in his tuxedo. And there, on the beach, his chiseled body glistening with water droplets. Reyna's heart skipped a beat as she gazed at the pictures, her mind racing with excitement.
Just then, a deep, husky voice spoke from behind her, making her jump. "Hell, where do you come from? You look so hot!"
