Chapter 102
Zeno was feeling every part of his heart shattering to pieces.
Why would Sebastian be hugging a woman after being with him last night?
He clenched his fist and was about to March toward them but someone drew him back by the arm.
"Calm down, lover boy, don't make things hard for your boyfriend," Ida whispered beside Zeno.
He looked beside him to see Ida staring at Sebastian and Sakura.
"It's just annoying," Zeno huffed.
Ida nodded, "Mm, I understand, but from now on, you have to keep in mind that the boss' reputation comes first, Zeno. I don't mean to meddle in your relationship, but u believe the boss would want to keep it private, and for your sake too, I beg you to keep it as low-profile as possible," He informed.
Zeno balled his fists tightly.
Of course, who was he kidding? How could he forget Sebastian's status? It was a miracle he got together with him; expecting him to announce to the whole world was just asking for too much.
They haven't even talked about that but Zeno didn't think they needed to. It was clear how their relationship was going to be, he was going to become the hidden boyfriend while Sebastian had the time of his life chilling with other people in public.
The elevator behind them opened, and Cody stepped out from it, "Woah, look at the boss getting all chatty with Sakura; maybe he'd finally get Ken, a mom," he fixed himself between Zeno and Ida, smiling at Sebastian and Sakura.
Cody was expecting some kind of support for his words, but he realized that both guys were quiet beside him.
He slowly looked from Zeno to Ida and realized that they both looked like they wanted to strangle him. "I said something I shouldn't have?" He whispered and stepped away from them.
"You did, baby," Ida sighed.
Zeno frowned, "So, you guys are like a thing now?" He questioned.
"Yeah, just like you and..." Ida pointed towards Sebastian.
However, Cody misunderstood. "What? Zeno's dating Sakura?!" He was too shocked he didn't realize he shouted it, and this time, Sebastian and Salura turned to look at the three of them.
Ida felt cursed under his breath, "Awesome, baby, you're the best, just great," He muttered.
Cody blinked when he realized he'd once again said whatever he wasn't supposed to say and too loudly.
Zeno looked like he wanted the ground to open and swallow him. He could feel Sebastian's gaze on him, and he saw Sakura's excited look when she set her eyes on him. He just hoped she wouldn't start acting friendly with him in front of Sebastian.
"Good morning, Boss," Cody quickly greeted.
"Good morning, Boss," Ida greeted, too; he secretly kicked Zeno's heel.
Zeno sighed, he didn't want to greet someone he was sulking at.
But he had to; he was the boss, and their relationship was still private; he didn't want to be perceived as an insubordinate employee.
"Good-"
"What are you guys doing here?" Sebastian asked, cutting Zeno off.
Sakura had her arm wrapped tightly around Sebastian's and annoyed Zeno; he thought she had said she wouldn't do anything here in Japan; wasn't she busy anymore?
Ida stepped forward, "We were just about going to eat, boss,"
Cody nodded beside them, "Yes, boss, others have left already," He said.
Sebastian glanced at Zeno before he turned to Sakura, "Do you want to have breakfast with us?"
Zeno's fists could be heard as he cracked them, drawing Ida and Cody's attention to himself.
"Oh, can I join? For real?" Sakura asked excitedly.
Sebastian nodded, "Zeno, you're driving," He announced and started walking out of the hotel.
"Oh, I'll just drive my car, then, you guys want to join me?" Sakura asked Ida and Cody.
"Y-"
"No, Ms. Sakura, we have a means, thank you," Ida interrupted Cody from accepting the request.
"Okay, see you," Sakura waved and walked out.
"Baby, we have to fix that mouth of yours," Ida turned to Cody with his narrowed eyes.
"But you like it just right, Right?" Cody asked, biting his lips as he drew Ida close by his shirt.
Zeno sighed loudly, shaking his head before he walked away from them.
Food for them, they could touch and talk to themselves in public, how Awesome, something he was never going to experience.
He walked out to find Sebastian standing beside a white Ferrari, waving at Sakura who was driving away in the car beside his.
"Annoying," He muttered as he reached the other side of the car.
Sebastian glanced at him, "In the car, Zeno," He ordered and got in the passenger's seat.
Zeno shut his eyes for a second before he pulled the door and entered the driver's side.
The moment the door was shut, Zeno gasped in surprise as he felt his upper body being dragged toward Sebastian.
He braced himself by pressing a hand beside Sebastian's seat, frowning.
"What are you doing?" Zeno asked, looking angry.
Sebastian smirked at him, "Wipe it," he ordered huskily.
Zeno frowned harder, "Wipe what?" He looked away from Sebastian, staring at the dashboard.
Sebastian placed his other hand on the side of Zeno's face and turned his face back to his, "Wipe that frown off your face," He whispered.
Zeno scoffed, "No," He wanted Sebastian to understand that he was angry, very angry.
Sebastian smiled, "No?" He leaned closer to Zeno's face, inching his mouth closed to his.
Zeno remained silent, not speaking to Sebastian.
"Good morning, baby girl," Sebastian whispered against Zeno's lips before he closed the space between their lips and softly kissed Zeno.
Zeno closed his eyes and allowed Sebastian to kiss him. This was supposed to be the first thing he got when he opened his eyes, but he got an empty bed and room instead.
As punishment, he wasn't going to kiss Sebastian back.
Sebastian noticed that Zeno wasn't responding to him and drew back from his face.
"You're angry," He stated.
Zeno scoffed, "You just noticed," He rolled his eyes.
Sebastian sighed, "That's not good." He caressed Zeno's neck with his fingers.
"I'm sorry for leaving you alone this morning, but I didn't want to wake you, you looked so cute and peaceful, I just-"
"You looked so happy with Sakura just now," Zeno moved back and started the car.
Sebastian immediately held Zeno's hand that was going up to the steering, bringing it over to his thigh.
"Wait..." Sebastian raised a brow in disbelief as he stared at Zeno.
"You think I and Sakura..." Sebastian sighed and gently tugged Zeno's hand, making him look his way, "When I said I loved you, I meant every single word, Zeno. Clear every doubt from that pretty head of yours, understood?" He spoke in a low voice.
"Well..." Zeno removed his hand from Sebastian's and held the steering, "We're late already," he said and drove the car away, ignoring Sebastian, who was looking at him with confusion.
Sebastian was confused, the rest of the ride was quiet, and it made him uncomfortable knowing that Zeno wasn't happy with him.
He was really bad at this boyfriend thing, getting his boyfriend upset on the first day of their dating, that's really not a way to go.
He had to find a way to make Zeno understand that when he loves, he loves totally, and Zeno was the only one for him, no one else.
Zeno pulled up in front of a classy restaurant immediately left the car, and walked in.
He didn't bother waiting for Sebastian, after all, they were supposed to keep their distance in public.
"This is fucking hard," Sebastian muttered before hurrying to follow Zeno into the Japanese restaurant.
Zeno walked in and was greeted by the neat and quiet restaurant. Quiet wasn't because there were no people there; rather, it was quiet because it seemed that everyone sitting at the table was minding their business, eating and working, or just on their phone.
Zeno was confused, he looked over at the counter and saw the workers looking very busy as they quietly prepared food for their customers.
He slowly walked over to to a corner and brought out his phone from his pocket, he was going to call Ida and ask him if he was in the same restaurant as him.
Why would Sebastian choose such a work-oriented place for their breakfast?
Zeno paused when he felt someone hold his hand, he turned to see Sebastian looking at him.
"Hey," Sebastian walked up to Zeno and held his hand, "Come on," He whispered beside his ear and led him past the tables, toward the right corner of the restaurant, and that's when Zeno noticed the little staircase that led up to a small door.
"I can walk," Zeno gently removed his hand from Sebastian's as they went up the stairs.
Sebastian drew him back and held his shoulder, "Baby girl, come on, I said was-"
"I just want to walk on my own," Zeno stepped away from him and climbed the remaining stairs.
He was met with only one door, so he had no choice but to open it.
"Woah," He murmured as he looked down the same trail of little stairs that led down to a beautiful garden with tables arranged near each other; the other bodyguards were there, either sitting or standing and chatting.
"Zeno, you finally came. Come on," Cody called from the foot of the stairs, holding a drink in his hand.
