Chapter 260
A knock of sounded for the third time, but Cross didn't move an inch from his position.
He stared at Andre through his security camera and clenched his jaw, anger seeping into his bones.
How shameless was Andre? Fuck someone else now and run to another in the next second.
He recalled how he had ignored Nicholas's message at the club, as if the continent didn't matter.
He chuckled, "Of course it didn't matter, it's about me himself.
The fourth knock sounded and Cross angrily left the floor, striding over to his door with a frown etched in his face.
If Andre was crazy then Cross was crazier. He was going to hand Andre the energy he was asking for.
He paused in front of the door and stared at his phone one last time, taking in Andre's worried face. He looked so bothered and unsure, but Cross knew that it was all fake.
With a scoff, he unlocked his door and pulled it open, coming face to face with Andre.
Andre's hand hung mid-air as the door was suddenly pulled open from the inside. He froze as he stared at Cross's angry face, his mouth going dry as he suddenly didn't know what to say.
He stared, feeling his heart pounding loudly in his chest.
He finally met Cross after so long, but he was lost for words; he could only stare like a fool.
He didn't want to speak, he just wanted to pull Cross in for a long, warm, and right hug. They both needed that at the moment, there was too much distance and friction between them.
"No, please, wait!" Andre snapped out of his daze and held the closing door, his eyes meeting Cross's between the slightly opened door.
"Please, Cross, I promise not to take more than six minutes of your time," Andre pleaded, sliding his hand up to hold Cross's hand but Cross removed his hand from the door and opened his door wider.
Andre stepped back as Cross stepped out of the door and closed it. He sighed, feeling dejected that Cross didn't want him to enter his home.
"You shouldn't be here," Cross said, folding his arms on his chest.
Andre nodded and moved closer, but Cross's glare made him keep his hands to himself, "It's been a week and a few days, Cross... I miss you." He said, voice slightly shaky.
He stared right into Cross's silver eyes, his mind forcing him to close the distance between them and hug Cross. But, he knew that would only lead to a slap on his cheek.
Cross chuckled, "Miss me?" His disdainful eyes scanned Andre from head to toes, "Something is definitely wrong with you, Mr. Andre, you don't need to walk free. You should be chained... in an asylum, " he scoffed.
"I don't mind if you'd be my attending doctor," He reached out to hold Cross, but gasped when Cross slapped his hand away.
"You're so annoying. Do I look like I'm joking? I wonder what attracted me to you in the first place... thank God we're over," Cross rolled his eyes and leaned on his door, tapping his foot impatiently on the floor.
"Are we, really?" Andre asked gently, his face mirroring his hurt.
Cross shrugged, "I mean, you don't expect me to be your butch while you go fucking some other bitch, right?" He raised a brow at Andre.
Andre balled his fists, "It really hurts me when your words show the nonexistent trust you have for me. I've never cheated on you, Cross. I love you." He made sure he gazed into Cross's eyes as he said those three words, hoping Criss saw his honesty in his eyes.
Cross looked unbothered on the surface, but his nails dug deep into his hands, and he wished he could just fling himself on Andre and cry his heartbreak away. But he didn't. He cleared his throat and glanced coldly at Andre's face.
"Are you coming from Nicholas's club?" Cross asked, trying to convince himself that the person he saw wasn't Andre, even though the person standing in front of him was the same person he had seen, he still hoped there could be a logical explanation to the whole situation.
"Yes, I'm coming from Nicholas's club. But I was supposed to come here first, but when I got his message about how he wanted to help me meet with you, I had to go over there as soon as possible -"
"So, did you speak to Nicholas? Did you meet with Tony?" Cross cut him off, eyes turning misty with unshed tears.
Andre nodded, "I didn't meet Nicholas, but I did meet Tony briefly. But I was in a rush, I haven't really spoken to him since that day I took him to the hospital -"
"Yeah, you were too busy burying your cock in his ass in the restroom. I saw you, Andre, and I saw how you easily dismissed Nicholas's text and followed your lover to go have some fun..." He closed his eyes to keep his tears from falling, biting his lower lip.
"Cross," Andre saw Cross's hurting face and reached out to hold him.
He didn't expect the heavy push on his chest that sent him falling on his butt on the floor.
"Don't fucking touch me with those filthy hands of yours, Andre. You know what?" Cross stepped forward, a hateful look on his face.
Andre stood, staring at Cross's hateful eyes in surprise. He couldn't believe Cross would push him that hard.
"I hate you so much, Andre. And, I don't know, even if a miracle happened and you're proven innocent, I wouldn't stoop so low to be with you again. Your low-life status is so glaring, it'd ruin my perfect image," he smirked as he saw the hurt flash across Andre's eyes.
"It's one thing to be mad because you believe I'm cheating, but it's another thing to talk down on me, Cross. I know you don't mean any of those. I know there's still love for me in your heart." he stepped closer and held Cross's hand.
"I love you, Cross. I'm tired of fighting with you, I just want you back, please," he begged, staring into Cross's eyes.
Cross smiled, cupping Andre's cheek, "You love me, right?" He whispered.
Andre nodded, his pulse racing as Cross's hand held his face.
He slightly shivered as he felt Cross's breath on his lips, his brain turning mushy instantly, "Yes, Baby, I love you so much." He whispered shakily.
"Good, because I want you to feel so hurt that you'll die," Cross whispered in Andre's ear.
