Chapter 277
"I want a divorce!" Zeno shouted, glaring at the man in front of him.
Sebastian stared at him, blinking slowly, "Is that all you've got? They're never going to believe you. Come on, be convincing." He stood and walked away from the phone and tripod.
He walked past Zeno and drew their bedroom curtains, allowing the bright sunlight to stream in.
He turned and walked over to Zeno, "Alright, Papi, look here." He cupped Zeno's face and sighed as he stared into those blue eyes, "We need to get back at them, at Ken. We can't let it slide so easily –"
"I can..." Zeno smiled.
Sebastian frowned, "For once, choose me over that br-angel. If you love me, you'd do it for me. I need to break his little heart. At least, get him ready for his future heartbreaks." He smirked.
Zeno sighed, "Do the chills, bro-ah!" He gasped as Sebastian spanked him hard on his ass.
"I'm not your bro... I hate that word," Sebastian whispered against Zeno's lips, narrowing his eyes at him.
"Okay... take your sexy eyes elsewhere and focus on the mission at hand: breaking our poor Ken's heart with a divorce video," Zeno tapped Sebastian's cheek and stepped behind the camera.
Sebastian smiled, "Does that mean you're doing it?" He asked.
Zeno placed a finger on his chin, "Let me think." He tapped his fingers gently.
Sebastian stared at Zeno for a while and realised he was stalling, "Come on, Mr. Evander. Just think of the times you used to hate me and channel rage into your act.
"Bingo!" Zeno snapped his fingers.
Sebastian tilted his head to the side, raising a questioning brow, "Let's hear it?" He sounded unsure.
"Your idea is perfect, Papi. You were the one with more hate in you. So, how about recalling your evil ways for the shoot? Splendid, right? All I have to do is..." he stood in front of the phone and clicked the record button.
"Don't worry, we'll cut this side out." Zeno said, positioning himself in front of Sebastian, "So, all I have to do is to stand right in front of you and look vulnerable while you roar how much you hate me and how marrying me was the worst decision of your life, and then, you drop the bomb and ask for immediate divorce. And, action," Zeno finished and lifted his face to Sebastian, looking into his husband's eyes with expectation.
Sebastian stared at Zeno's face and realised how absurd his idea was. He couldn't do it, not even as a joke.
"So? What are you waiting for?" Zeno asked, pretending like he didn't see the troubled look in Sebastian's eyes.
Sebastian stepped closer and cupped the back of Zeno's head. "We'll find another way; that idea is stupid," he murmured and lowered his lips to Zeno's, kissing him softly. "Not even as a prank, Papi." He whispered against Zeno's lips and kissed him again, deeper this time.
Zeno smiled into the kiss, pushing his fingers into Sebastian's hair, "I knew you won't do it," He murmured, wiping the side of Sebastian's lips with his thumb, "Just let the boy be, he misses us, and we miss him, too." He said, poking Sebastian's cheek.
"He frames his death with fake blood and had Claudia and Sakura film him lying in front of his school's gate, claiming to be assassinated. That was going too far, Babe. You almost passed out and my blood pressure hasn't returned to normal since then. You forgiving him so easily is cute, but it shows how weak you are when it comes to Ken. Not good," Sebastian frowned, looking away from Zeno.
"Excuse you? Don't get me started on who's weak when it comes to Ken. Who buys him whatever he requests before he even makes the demand?" Zeno cocked a brow at Sebastian.
"Um, you?" Sebastian scoffed.
"Oh? Wait... you're right. Well, sue me," Zeno stepped away and removed the phone from the tripod, ignoring Sebastian's incredulous look behind him.
"Grow a spine, Zeno. That kid is not really a kid, he's using you –"
"If he doesn't use me, who will? Just you? You want your husband's one hundred percent attention. On the bed, out of the bed, morning, afternoon, night. Doesn't your husband have others? Doesn't he have a life?" Zeno asked, folding his arms and frowning.
Sebastian's face turned dark, he strode over to Zeno and gripped his chin, forcing his face up, "I am his life, and he better glue that into his fucking head. Capisce?" His voice dropped to a low rumble as he tightened his hand on Zeno's chin, not too ugly but enough to leave marks.
Zeno slowly dragged his teeth over his bottom lip, his eyes darkening with lust, "Capisce, Papi." He whispered and slammed his lips against Sebastian, tugging his shirt to pull him closer.
Sebastian matched Zeno's urgency, his breath hitching as Zeno pressed his front against his.
"You like it when I'm rough with you, don't you?" Sebastian growled, slamming Zeno's back against the wall and pinning his wrists above his head.
Zeno gasped softly, "Rough and dominant, Papi. It drives me loco."
Sebastian's grip tightened just a little more, enough for Zeno's breath to hitch. His gaze roamed over Zeno's flushed lips, down his heaving chest, then slowly back to his eyes.
"You drive me loco, too," Sebastian murmured, leaning in until their noses brushed, "but you're mine. And that son of ours needs to remember he doesn't come before me."
Zeno's lips curled as he stared defiantly up at him. "Jealous husband looks good on you," he whispered, "but Ken isn't replacing you. No one can."
Sebastian's jaw tightened, but his eyes softened for a flash—just a heartbeat—before he masked it with a smirk.
"Hm. Good answer."
He released Zeno's wrists only to slide his hands down his arms, slow and claiming, stopping at his waist and pulling him flush against his body again.
Zeno inhaled sharply, his voice husky. "See? You're obsessed."
"Damn right," Sebastian said, brushing his thumb along Zeno's lower lip. "And obsessed men don't prank-divorce their husbands. Especially not for that little menace."
Zeno laughed softly and rested his forehead against Sebastian's chest, his tone gentle for once.
"He misses us… and you know it. He's just trying to get attention. And we both spoiled him rotten."
Sebastian groaned. "We? Don't drag me into your crimes. You're the one who buys him a whole gaming room just because he sneezed."
"And you bought him a motorcycle because he blinked," Zeno countered dryly.
"…Okay, that one was on me," Sebastian muttered.
Zeno grinned triumphantly and stepped back, brushing invisible lint off Sebastian's shirt.
"So, we're not doing the divorce video?"
"No," Sebastian said flatly.
"Good." Zeno clasped his hands behind his back. "Then what are we doing?"
Sebastian's eyes darkened again as he hooked a finger under Zeno's chin.
"We're going to punish him."
Zeno blinked. "Sebastian—"
"In a parental way," Sebastian corrected, rolling his eyes. "Grounding, lectures, emotional guilt… all the classics."
Zeno sighed in relief. "Thank God. For a second I thought you meant—"
"But first," Sebastian continued, lifting Zeno effortlessly and dropping him onto the bed with a soft thump,
"We're settling our little problem."
Zeno propped himself on his elbows, breath catching.
"And… what problem is that?"
Sebastian crawled over him, slow and deliberate, caging Zeno beneath him.
"You," he murmured, brushing Zeno's cheek with his knuckles.
"Thinking anyone else gets the parts of you that belong to me."
Zeno swallowed. "Papi…"
Sebastian dipped his head and pressed a long, slow kiss to Zeno's throat.
"We'll call Ken after. But right now…"
His fingertips slid under Zeno's shirt.
"I'm claiming my attention first."
Zeno sucked in a breath, his voice barely a whisper.
"Take it."
Sebastian's lips parted in a wicked grin.
"Oh, I intend to."
"Master Zeno, you have a call,"
The familiar witty voice rang out from behind the door.
Both men paused, Sebastian's jaws working tightly as he stared at the door with contempt.
"Stay," He pinned Zeno down, his gaze darkening as he stared down at Zeno.
"Seb, come on. I left my phone downstairs. It might be urgent –"
"See what I mean? You turn your attention to something else the moment it shows up," Sebastian huffed and trolled away from Zeno, sitting at the edge of the bed.
"Petty," Zeno rolled his eyes and lowered his feet to the floor, "Stop acting like I'm running away, I'm just taking my phone from Mila." He walked over to Sebastian, placed a kiss on his forehead, and whispered into his ear, "Stop sulking, Papi. Brb." He said and walked over to the door.
"Thank you, Aunt Mila," Zeno smiled to the woman as he took his phone from her and was about to close it when her smaller hands gently tapped the door to stop him.
"Lunch will be ready in a minute," she added. "Shall I set the dining or bring it to your room?" Mila asked softly.
"Up here, Papi?" Zeno asked, glancing at Sebastian's comically unamused expression, a soft chuckle escaping his mouth.
"Do whatever you want," Sebastian murmured.
"Up here, Aunt Mila," Zeno nodded politely.
Mila nodded and walked away from their door.
Zeno was about to speak to Sebastian when his phone rang again.
"It's Ida, Sebastian. Do you think they got something on Vale?" Zeno asked, lowering himself beside Sebastian.
"Don't ask me, Babe. Answer the call," Sebastian replied, placing a hand on Zeno's back.
Zeno nodded, smirking secretly as he grew eager to find out what Ida's and Cody's relationship status was.
