Chapter 192

"It's alright, Zeno, I have numerous employees, take your time, but hey, are you really back with him? Can I tell Nana?" Nicholas sat inside his car in front of his club, talking to Zeno through the phone.

"You won't tell anyone, Nicholas; I never said anything about dating anyone; I'll tell you all about it later; gotta go," Zeno replied and ended the call.

"Huh?" Nicholas stared at the phone with a frown.

'Staying together but not together?'

He scoffed and got out of his car, "I don't believe anything he said," He muttered as he walked into his club.

"Good evening, boss," The security man greeted as he walked in through the entrance.

He tapped the security guy's shoulder and walked on.

He went through the general club and smirked as he saw the whole place busy with people dancing and drinking; he knew he had made the right choice by opening the club; the revenue was massive.

"Oh! Sorry..." Nicholas apologized as he bumped into someone on the dance floor.

"No, I'm sorry, hey! Nicholas," The person held Nicholas' shoulder.

"Pole?" Nicholas called in surprise.

"Hi, Nicholas, it's good to see you again," He offered Nicholas a handshake.

Nicholas hesitated before he reluctantly shook Pole's hand; he remembered that Ezra once spoke about Pole; he didn't know if they'd had anything to do with each other, but he didn't like the guy. And, it was none of his business.

"Welcome to my club, Pole, please enjoy your stay," He withdrew his hand and took a step forward.

"Um, excuse me, I'm sorry," Pole said to Nicholas, halting his steps

Nicholas gritted his teeth and faced Polenonce again, "What do you want?" He questioned with a little frown.

"Um, yeah, I was invited here by Ezra. I need to meet him at the VIP, but I don't know how to get there; do you mind leading me there?" He asked.

Nicholas' countenance switched to something very close to jealousy; his jaws worked, clenching, and his fists balled beside him.

'So they do have something to do with each other,'

"He invited you here?" Nicholas asked coldly.

Pole nodded, "He did, I've just spoken to him a few moments ago," He replied.

Nicholas nodded, "Right, follow me," he said and turned away, walking toward the passage that led to the VIP section.

Pole followed Nicholas behind, looking around the whole luxury.

"The place is nice," Pole said behind Nicholas as he stepped into the Vip section.

"I know. This is it, you can call whoever asked you here to meet you beside the bar," Nicholas said and turned away from him.

"Hi, Nicholas, thanks for bringing Pole in. Hey, Pole, it's good to see you," Ezra gave Nicholas a short nod and moved past him to hug Pole.

"Same here, never knew you'd finally agree to hang out with me," Pole smirked.

Ezra shrugged, "Well, what can I say? You were quietly convincing, so here I am," He replied.

"Then, let's over there?" Pole pointed toward the bar.

"Sure," Ezra answered and together, he made his way with Pole toward the bar.

Nicholas didn't move from his position, he stood there, watching Ezra and Pole order their drinks.

His face was frowned upon; he was angry; he hated the pair. He knew he shouldn't concern himself with what they did but he couldn't look away.

His night was ruined; he felt like asking Nicholas to leave and take his stupid date with him, too.

He stood there, watching Ezra lead Pole over to a booth, Pole laughed at something Ezra said before he sat down, patting the space beside him.

Nicholas was fuming.

He was no kid; he saw the way Pole looked at Ezra as if he could fuck him with just his eyes.

'Yet he dared to kiss me,' he scoffed and walked to the bar.

He sat in a place where he could watch them clearly, keeping himself busy with drinks.

"Another glass," He said to Luke.

"Boss, it's the fifth drink, I thought you didn't drink on duty?" Luke asked cautiously.

Nicholas narrowed his eyes at him, "Are you questioning me?" He asked.

Luke shook his head, "No, never. I'll pour you another one," He quickly poured Nicholas another drink.

Nicholas picked it up and faced Ezra's booth again; this time, their eyes met, and he was caught staring.

But he didn't remove his eyes, he wasn't apologetic. He gulped down his drink, keeping his eyes locked on Ezra.

"Hi, Nicholas, feel like dei king tonight?" A vouc3 asked beside him.

Nicholas slowly removed his eyes from Ezra and faced the person who had appeared beside him.

"Hi, Jay, long time, back from your travels?" Nicholas smiled at the man beside him.

Jay was exactly Nicholas' height, but he was more buffed than Nicholas, and his buzzcut gave him a sexy military look.

"Yeah, I'm currently on vacation; where's the best place to spend my time if not here? With you," Jay smiled at Nicholas.

Nicholas chuckled, "Still a flirt," He raised a brow at him.

"Only for you, Nick," Jay touched Nicholas' arm.

"Can I get more drinks, please?" Ezra suddenly wedged himself between Nicholas and Jay, acting as though he hadn't interrupted anything.

"Hey, man, you're -"

"Is he your boyfriend, Nicholas?" Ezra ignored Jay, who was speaking to him, and spoke to Nicholas.

Nicholas frowned; Ezra had ignored him earlier, so why was he speaking to him now? Why would he care if Jay was his boyfriend? He never said anything about Pole.

"Yes, he is, got a problem?" Nicholas asked nonchalantly.

Ezra shook his head, he glanced at Jay and stepped out from between them, "No, I don't have a problem, I just thought you would have done better -"

"Hey, watching your mouth," Jay stepped closer to Ezra, frowning.

Ezra stepped back, nodding, "Easy, soldier, I'm not here to cause trouble," He stared at Nicholas, "Enjoy your night, Nick," He smiled and grabbed his drink off the table before returning to Pole.

"Bastard," Nicholas murmured.

Jay moved closer to Nicholas, smiling as if he wasn't about to fight someone a few seconds ago, "Boyfriend?" He asked, smirking.

Nicholas panicked as he heard the question, "Huh? No way, he's not my boyfriend, I don't like him," He hurried to reply.

"What? No, I wasn't talking about that weirdo, I meant myself... you just agreed that I'm your boyfriend," He smirked at Nicholas.

Nicholas glanced around as if he wasn't the person Jay was talking to, "Huh? Me? I said that? That's a lie," he denied.

Jay chuckled, "You don't have to be shy; I feel the same way for you, Nicholas, and don't you dare blame the alcohol for your words; I heard you clearly," He pointed at Nicholas.

Nicholas groaned, "Uhh, stop talking, Jay, you wanna dance, I don't know, I don't want to dance. But I just want to stop you from talking," He sounded frustrated.

His eyes glanced at Ezra and saw that Pole's hand was now resting on his lap, and Ezra didn't even try to remove it. His anger piled, and he glared at Ezra, wishing his drink choked him to death.

"Nicholas?" Jay called.

"Oh, yes?" He turned to realize that Jay was too close for comfort and simply moved his body away from him.

"I said I don't mind dancing, Nick; who knows, I might end up seducing you with my moves," He said confidently.

Nicholas leaned in and whispered beside his ear, "I've told you before, just like I tell others; I'm a top, and that's not changing anytime soon," He gently pushed Jay away.

Jay laughed softly, "I've heard that before. But, we'll see how it goes, dance?" He offered Nicholas a hand.

Nicholas shrugged, "Why not?" He held Jay's hand, jumped down the stool he was sitting on, and followed him to the dance floor.

In the booth, Ezra's eyes immediately followed Nicholas when he saw him leave his seat; his body stiffened the moment he saw Jay draw Nicholas plush against his body on the dance floor; his hand that was taking his drink to his mouth hung mid-air as he stared at Nicholas comfortable chuckling and following Jay's lead on the dance floor.

"Ezra, are you okay?" Pole asked quietly, tapping Ezra's thigh.

Ezra forced his eyes away from Nicholas and Jay, but he could still see them through the side of his eye.

"I'm sorry, what did you say?" He asked.

Pole narrowed his eyes at him, "Are you sure you're fine? You're not the usual sarcastic doctor I used to know," his finger traced Ezra's hand that was holding his drink, "Or does the alcohol bring out another side of you?" His voice turned into a gentle whisper.

Ezra chuckled, "Maybe, you're imagining things, Pole, want to dance?" He asked out of the blue; he wanted to get close to Nicholas and keep an eye on him. He didn't like his stupid boyfriend and planned to separate them by all means tonight.

Pole nodded, "Sure, Doc, let's dance," his voice was suggestive as he replied.

However, they had just taken two steps away from their booth when Ezra paused and looked apologetically at Pole, "I'm really sorry, but I have to go to the restroom, I think my stomach is rejecting the alcohol, you can go back first, don't wait for me, I'm really sorry," He rushed his words and hurried away, leaving behind a confused Pole.

Ezra had seen Nicholas go towards the bathroom and immediately followed him; he couldn't stand it anymore; he needed to confront him one last time.

He walked into the restroom and waited and stood beside Nicholas' closed door; the moment the door opened, he pushed Nicholas back in and entered the restroom, locking the door.

Nicholas was rendered speechless as he never expected Ezra in his restroom, "What the fuck, Ezra?" He slapped Ezra's hand away but got pushed back against the wall instantly.

"We need to talk, Nicholas," Ezra's voice was low and electrifying, his eyes dark and searching.
