Chapter 94
"Leaving?" Mr. Orion asked.
"Get off my way," Sebastian gritted his teeth.
Zeno stepped closer to him, wishing he could absorb some of the tension from Sebastian.
"Now, now, Son, that's no way to speak to your father in public. Walk with me; your Mamá is here tonight; speak with her," Mr. Orion ordered.
Zeno could see Sebastian balling his fists; he hesitated for a moment before he nodded and walked past his father, heading to the other side of the room, Ida following him behind
Zeno was about to turn away since he wasn't a part of their family discussions but Mr. Orion called out to him.
"Zeno Evander," Mr. Orion called and slowly walked toward Zeno.
Zeno exchanged a short look with Cody, who was standing not quite far away before he turned to face Mr. Orion.
"Good evening, Mr.-"
"Abuelo. I've told you before," He corrected.
Zeno nodded, "Buenas noches, Abuelo," He bowed his head in respect.
Mr. Orion smiled at him. "Walk with me, Zeno," He said and started walking in the direction Sebastian had gone.
"I sent you on a mission, but it turns out you're doing the opposite, am I wrong, Zeno," Mr. Orion questioned, grabbing a drunk from the tray of the hostess who was standing beside a table.
Zeno froze for a second; he froze as he thought that Mr. Orion had somehow managed to discover the relationship between him and Zeno.
But the next question made him release the breath he was holding.
"Is he hiding a girl from me?" Mr. Orion questioned.
Zeno fixed his hand in his pocket and cleared his throat. "No, Abeulo. Mr. Sebastian has been busy with work, that's why he hasn't been attending parties or galas. And it also made it difficult for me to do as you e asked me. He'd suspect me if brought a woman into his home," He explained.
Mr. Orion nodded. "That makes sense; I know my boy; he's as stubborn as the mother, but don't worry, since he had refused to settle with Georgia, we'd find him someone else. Look over there," He pointed to the table beside Sebastian and a woman he was speaking to.
Zeno guessed that was his mother, she looked kind and beautiful, and regardless of how much Sebastian claimed he didn't like her, the way he spoke to her was full of respect and love.
Zeno blinked away from him and focused on the table beside him. He saw a beautiful, slim girl eyeing Sebastian very wistfully.
His first instinct was to go over and block Sebastian with his body then tell the girl to look somewhere else.
But he held himself back because he knew that doing so would jeopardize everything.
"Yes, I see her," He said to Mr. Orion.
"Good. That's Sakura. She's the best fit as a wife and a mother. She's the daughter of the most powerful man in Japan, if you succeed in making her sleep with my son tonight, I promise to release you from every contract and clear off your Nana's medical bill. I don't care how you do it, just get her to his room. You can see she's already interested. But don't worry, if you fail tonight, there are still a lot of chances; she'll be going to the States for business and will be staying for some months; I trust you'd make good use of that time. And please, keep everything low-profiled; if he finds out, it'll be bad, especially for you," Mr. Orion patted Zeno's shoulder and walked away.
"Yes, sir..." Zeno replied as Mr. Orion walked away from him.
Another reality hit him.
He was once again reminded of his position and class.
Sebastian's family would never accept someone like him. Firstly, he was gay. Secondly, he wasn't rich nor was he a son of a president or a billionaire.
Everything was just making him realize that Sebastian was out of his league.
He took a deep breath and marched forward.
Maybe it would be good if he got Sebastian to sleep with that Asian girl, he would heal faster when he was freed from this family.
Zeno reached the table and paused beside Sakura.
This felt like a punishment, speaking to someone and trying to convince them to love the same person you loved. He knew he didn't have to ask twice. The way Sakura had her eyes glued to Sebastian felt like she could get pregnant by just looking at him.
He took a deep breath and called to her, "Hello, Sakura," Zeno greeted.
Sakura slowly removed her eyes from Sebastian and turned her head to look at the person beside her.
Zeno was awed by how beautiful she was; he was already seeing Sebastian falling for her; she was everything a man could ask for.
Sexy, beautiful, rich and charming. He knew Sebastian might be moved to bed her, she was very appealing to the eyes.
Sakura raised her slim, beautiful finger to her face and gently pushed her stray hair behind her ear.
"Hi?" She said in a soft voice as she stared at Zeno with her warm brown eyes.
Zeno clenched his fist inside his pocket before he spoke.
"Good evening. I'm Zeno Evander, Mr. Sebastian's bodyguard," He introduced.
Sakura's eyes immediately lightened up the moment she heard Zeno's introduction.
Sakura turned to the young man beside her and smiled, "Excuse me, Brother, I have to speak to this one man," Sakura slowed and stood from her chair.
Zeno hadn't even noticed the person beside Sakura; one look at the handsome man told him that he was Sakura's brother. Their eyes met for a split second, and Zeno slowly removed his eyes.
"Come, Mr. Evander, we need to talk privately," Sakura held Zeno's hand and led him past Sebastian's table and toward the door that led to a large balcony.
Sebastian, who was sitting with his mother, suddenly saw a familiar figure walk past him.
He frowned and focused on the person, and when he confirmed that it was indeed, Zeno, he frowned harder when he realized that the person beside him was a lady.
What was Zeno doing with a lady? And where were they heading to?
"I see Sakura have caught your eyes, already," Mrs. Orion chuckled.
"Huh?" Sebastian slowly turned back to his mother when he saw Zeno follow the lady onto the balcony.
"You don't have to hide your feelings, son, you're man enough. The lady you were looking at is Mr. Takumi's daughter, she's single too," Mrs. Orion wiggles her brows at him.
Sebastian sighed, 'Not this again.'
"No, Madre, don't start this again, you know how Georgia ended," Sebastian replied, glancing his eyes toward the balcony door.
"I know, I know, son, but you know, Georgia was the best thing to ever happen to you, if only you gave her a chance-"
"So it's my fault she cheated with my best friend?" Sebastian interrupted angrily.
Mrs. Orion sighed and held Sebastian's hands, "Calm down, Sebastian, I know you're still angry, but think of it this way, she's repentant of her actions and she's ready to get back with you and there wouldn't be any better choice for our Kenneth if not her real mother. I'm a mother, I know what I'm talking about; if you really love your son, please, give Georgia a chance, or at least, give another woman a chance," she pleaded.
Sebastian chuckled, "Don't push it, Madre. The fact that I agreed to come to Japan doesn't mean I've forgotten what happened; it doesn't give you the right to speak to me about my life or my son's life. Never mention this topic to me ever again," He removed his mother's hand from his and stood.
"Have a good night, Madre," He nodded to his mother and started walking toward the balcony.
Mrs. Orion sighed and sipped her drink, looking around to check if anyone saw her arguing with her son.
Sebastian had almost reached the balcony door when someone tapped his shoulder.
"Good evening, Mr. Sebastian," A voice greeted behind him.
He turned, raising his brow when he saw the person behind him, "Kenji?" He called with a frown.
He knew Kenji Takumi from way back; they had gone to the same college, and the two of them weren't really the best of friends because there had been a rival about who was the most popular and powerful; plus, Kenji was as pompous as a peacock.
"Long time no see, my dear friend," Kenji stretched his hand to Sebastian for a shake.
