Chapter 267
'Could these idiots really have fallen for each other?' He rolled his eyes, whatever it was as long as it got Andrew's attention decided.
He needed to save himself since Andre wasn't coming to his rescue.
"Are you offering I change for me, sweetheart? You think you can take away the trauma I've faced?" Andrew questioned, his eyes roaming Tony's face.
"I'll try, Andrew. How about you let Cross go and put the gun away and we can talk about it? We can start afresh. I'm ready to forgive everything you've done to me... I think I've fallen for you, Andrew -"
"Ugh!" Andrew staggered back and tripped on his bed as Cross suddenly jabbed his elbows into his side, his gun swiftly pulled away from his hand.
"Love is really powerful, isn't it?" Cross smirked as he now pointed the gun at Andrew, who was now lying on the floor with widened eyes.
He hated to point a gun at Andre's look-alike, but this was the villain, he'd get hurt if he didn't act fast.
"You guys think you played me? Think again!" Andrew suddenly pulled the IV stand beside him and threw it at Cross.
"Fuck!" Cross cursed as he slipped on his leg and fell while he tried to dodge the IV stand.
A slight crack was heard around the room as Cross fell, the gun falling out of his hand as his wrist shifted slightly.
"Shit, it hurts like hell, you idiot!" Cross glared at Andrew who was slowly staggering up to his feet.
Tony was by the side, his limbs shaking. He was witnessing the most violent ever thought he'd see in his entire life.
Cross was too hurt to move, his dislocated wrist was hurting like a bitch and he couldn't move to reach for the gun.
Andrew staggered in his hospital gown and picked the gun up, chuckling darkly, "Seems like I'd have to teach a - Ughh..." he paused, his eyes slowly fluttering, the gun fell from his hand, and then he fell to the ground, unconscious once more.
Tony stood behind Andrew with a folded chair in his shaky hands, his eyes staring at the unconscious Andrew before him.
Cross chuckled, "Ugly Tony to the rescue." He chuckled, wincing at the end as he tried to move his hand, "Fuck... I hope you hit him hard enough." He murmured.
"I still hate you," Cross said, glaring at a shaking Tony.
The door suddenly opened and Andre walked in with a frown on his face, the nurse following him behind.
The nurse gasped and slid past Andre, going over to squat beside Andrew.
"What happened? We just got him conscious and you knocked him out again with a chair?" She sighed and held Andrew's hand, kicking the gun away as she dragged him along the floor to get to the bed.
"I, I... he," Tony mumbled, not knowing how to answer.
Cross chuckled, "Chill, ugly Tony. Can't you see she doesn't give a fuck about the details? A nonchalant nurse I Stan." He winked at Tony.
"Get up," Andre came over and pulled Cross off the floor.
"Ouch, Ouch, baby, it hurts!" Cross groaned, holding his hurt wrist with his good hand.
Andre frowned and immediately looked down at Cross's wrist, taking in the redness and the slight swelling.
"What happened?" He asked.
"Hey! Can anyone give me a hand? This guy is fucking heavy!" The nurse grunted as she tried to pull Andrew off the floor.
Andre sighed and walked over to her, "Let me." He said and leaned over to easily lift his twin onto the bed.
"Thanks," She said to him.
"Stay with him, Tony. This time, you're responsible for his situation," Andre said and walked out of the room, dragging Cross with him and ignoring his hurting groans.
Tony frowned, glancing at Andrew, "I don't want to stay with him -"
"Ah, but you have to. I understand that boyfriends can be so annoying sometimes. You know, one time, I threw my boyfriend down the stairs, he was fine after a few stitches," the nurse giggled, "So I understand you. So, you have to stay until he wakes up, and please, please, resist knocking him out again until you get home. Okay?" She smiled at him and hurried over to the door.
"I'll be back with some meds," she said before closing the door.
Tony huffed, "Maybe suffocate him with a pillow?" He murmured.
At the reception, the nurse ran out er to Andre still dragging Cross out of the hospital, "Um, excuse me, yes, you two," she cleared her throat.
They stopped and turned to her. Cross sighed in relief as he got a momentary relief from Andre's dragging.
"Here's a mini first aid kit, it has everything to treat a minor strain," She pushed the box into Andre's hand.
"It's a gift," she winked.
"Thanks," Andre said and was about to turn but she held his arm.
"Anything else?" He asked, ignoring the way Cross was gripping his shirt.
"Ah, yes... he should avoid heavy use of the wrist, apply an ice pack for 15–20 mins every 2– 3 hours, also, use an elastic bandage or wrist wrap to reduce swelling... not too tight, though," she giggled.
"She loves to giggle," Cross whispered to Andre.
"Stay away," Andre moved his fave away.
"Is that all?" He asked, but he didn't want to be called back when he turned to leave.
She smiled, "You got me, I was about calling you back..." she giggled.
Andre closed his eyes and counted to three before opening them to look at the petite nurse, who had no idea how annoying she was.
"Elevation... yes, elevation, make sure his wrist is raised on a pillow above heart level to limit swelling whenever he's lying on bed... okay, bye you two love birds, I've got those other two to attend to. They seem quite mysterious, don't you agree?" She asked.
"I agree - Ouch, baby, it hurts!" Cross grunted Andre pulled him away from the chatty nurse.
"You're welcome! Don't mention..." she waved at them and hurried back to her duty.
In front of the hospital, Andre let go of Cross as they reached his car.
"Baby, you can't leave me, I can't drive!" Cross said as Andre placed the first aid on top of the car and was about to leave.
Andre paused, clenching his fists and cursing his twin for whatever chaos he had caused in there that had Cross injured.
Now, he had to take responsibility for a result he didn't create.
"Your keys," Andre stretched his hand in front of Cross.
Cross smirked and faced his car, turning his back for Andre, "It's in my ass, opps... my pockets." He replied in a low voice.
Andre sighed and moved in behind Cross, he was bout to slide his hand in Cross's pocket but paused, "Which of them?" He asked.
Cross groaned, "You're no fun, you should pretend to search in the wrong pocket just so you -"
"Cross," Andre called, warning Cross with his tone.
"Okay, okay, fine. The right one," He said.
Andre slid his hand in... no key.
Cross smirked, "Opps, wrong pocket. I guess it's the left one then," he chuckled, enjoying his teasing.
Andre gritted his teeth and quickly took the key out of of Cross pocket, "Get in the car." He said and snatched the first aid from the top of the car, walking over to enter the front of the car.
"He didn't even give it a little squishing," Cross murmured as he used his good hand to open the door for himself.
"My seat belt," Cross said the moment he shut his door.
Andre sighed in frustration, without a word, he leaned over and strapped in Cross's seatbelt. He was about to lean back to his seat when Cross leaned forward and kissed his jaw.
He paused, feeling his heart drum heavily in his chest.
Feeling Cross's lips on his skin after so long got his inside burning with hot, liquid desire. Still, he wasn't falling for Cross's tricks the second time.
"Stop messing with me, Cross," Andre said and started the car, not looking at Cross.
"I'm not messing with you, Andre. I'm trying to seduce you back to me," He whispered in the quiet car.
