Always forces her
RENEE'S POV
The girl was smiling, her little clammy hands wrapped around his arm. I frowned. Sensing my entrance, all eyes were on me. Refusing to show my emotion of anger, and jealousy, I pushed to wipe away my look of disappointment, to a emotionless look.
"Hi, you're the Luna's friend right? I'am Scarlet." She seemed happy and oh-so friendly. Especially with her hands on him. I didn't like it too well.
"Yeah hi."
I did not want to speak. I did not want to introduce myself to her. I did not even want to look at them.
I walked over to the kitchen cabinet then the refrigerator to get something to drink. A bead of sweat appeared on my forehead. I could feel his eyes burning into the side of my skull. Feeling uneasy and tense, I quickly grabbed what I came here for and walked out of the kitchen and ran back upstairs.
I walked into my room. My attempt to close my door behind me was stopped. He stepped in and closed the door himself.
"What?" I hissed.
"Whats your problem?" He questioned angrily. I could not give in, admitting my obvious jealousy was something I refused to do. I would look stupid since him and I are not together.
"Nothing." He left me this morning.
Moving around the room, I began doing random things to distract myself from looking at him. I dont think he like that too much. Grabbing me by my wrist, he yanked me into him. I struggled to pull away but he held onto me tightly.
Why did I secretly like it?
I looked at him. The way he looked at me made my stomach tighten and my heart pound harder. I almost fell for it until I remembered the little overly friendly 'pretty girl' with her hand wrapped around his arm. I frowned again.
"Jealousy is cute..but unhealthy." He mentioned. "WHAT?" I snapped. "You heard me." I tugged but he refused to let me go.
"Im running in to town. You're coming with me." "No I'm not."
"Yes you are." His voice had a little warning in it. "OR you can stay here with all the wolves. Your choice."
Shit. "You have ten minutes to get ready. Ill be outside."
He released my arm and turned to leave me. I stood there, angry and fuming from his stupid behavior. He can go fuck himself because Im staying right here.
I probably looked like a eight year old who've just been told that she could not have a cookie from the cookie jar. My arms across my chest, my face frowned up, I stared out of the front windshield of the car as we drove into town. I did not want to come but he forced it.
Literally! Obviously enjoying this, he smiled. I hate him! "You're stubborn." He whispered loud enough for me to hear it.
"You're a dog." I wanted to say that so badly today. An eyebrow raised, he looked over at me. He wanted to say something but he stopped and a grin appeared on his face.
"Whats so funny?" "Nothing." "Tell me?!" "Something that will cause a debate with you. Ill pass." He laughed.
WHAT THE FUCK IS SO FUNNY?
BANE'S POV
Minutes had passed and I realized, giving her the decision to come with me or not was the stupidest thing I could have done. I was leaning against the car, finally coming to terms that she was too damn stubborn to come willingly. Now, I have to force her. I looked at my watch. Ten minutes had come and gone and I was growing tired.
I linked a few people in the house for a favor. They offered to do it. I waited a few minutes before two of the men here came out with a angry, squirmy, demonic woman in their grasps.
"You decided to come?" I toyed with her but she didn't like it one bit. She will get over it. "After you." The boys escorted her over to the car and helped her in. She frowned, flipping us all off before I closed the passenger door. "Thanks guys."
"Bane, you definitely have your hands full with this one. Good luck."
"Yeah." I looked at her. "I see."
She looked like a little girl. Angry, pouty, and down right stubborn. She avoided eye contact and conversation with me as much as possible through out this entire ride. However I still witnessed her steal a few glances. I know she hated how I 'forced' her to come along. But she had to understand that there was no way in hell I was leaving her at the pack house with so many un-mated wolves present.
I smiled. I knew how easy it was just to get under her skin. How she got so angry and defensive. I just need her to put that anger to go use.
"You're stubborn." I mumbled over the humming of the engine. "You're a dog." She spat.
I looked at her. She seemed amused by her statement but she tried to cover it with a stern look. How long was that little insult sitting on the tip of her tongue? I smiled, just thinking about how she screamed this 'dog's' name last night.
"Whats so funny?" I asked angrily. "Nothing." She lied
"Tell me?!" I insisted. "Something that will cause a debate with you. Ill pass." I didn't want to stir her up again so I dropped it.
For now.
After having a long discussion with the girls about the whole ordeal and everything I needed to know, I still found myself in disbelief. If I had not witnessed it for my own eyes I swear I would have taken them for some sort of joke.
I walked into my room with a bowl of popcorn and a wine cooler. My hands full, I kicked the bedroom door shut and laid down.
Tonight, I was originally opting for a movie night with the girls. Sort of a girls night. However, he made sure that it did not happen.
"Pass the popcorn.""Nope."
I flicked a movie on, tossing some buttery, salty popcorn into my mouth. "Yum."
"Are we going to play this game?" "What game?"
I quickly began ignoring him as I focused on the television screen.
