RENEE'S POV
Half of his body was now covering me. I stayed still as a stone loss at words to say. I couldn't pull away, his grip on me was so strong. Soon enough, l felt his lips softly touch the center of my back and kissed upwards to the crook of my neck. It's where he stopped and surprisingly fell asleep again. His lips just stayed there in the crook of my neck.
I just wanted to cry because it felt so loving.
It felt tender and yet it twisted me up like a pretzel. The guy was some sort of a master of mind. He was holding me in a romantic way as if we were a newly married couple. I woke up sometime later. The room was dark and he was getting on clothes. He perhaps had something to work on because he left the room quickly. I stayed in the bed. I didn't want to wake up forever. Ever. And his bed was comforting and it smelled like him.

BANE'S POV
I felt a pang of regret at the things l said to her. At the way I took her but in a split second. I wanted the rush of it all. I especially loved it when fight turned into submission. She was beautiful, showing fear. Fighting me and then submitting to me lastly. It was what I needed and she gave it to me.
The next step for me was to get her want me , l wanted to see whether she could be the Luna but she was really stubborn, provoking me everytime the thing which made me to punish her. I knew it in my heart that she was going to get there easily and l was ready to break her again. I felt guilty but she was the chosen Luna, my mate and she had to be more powerful.
My chest currently weighed five hundred pounds. Everything I thought I wanted was in my room.... In my bed but it felt like l was fucking screwed up. I hated the sadness on her face , l hated the way she seemed to be beating herself for enjoying it when I fucked her. Despite the fact that she was an omega, she now had the qualities of a Luna.

RENEE'S POV.
I woke up again sometime later but this time it was morning. Quickly l stood up , put on the bathrobe which of course smelled like Bane and then went downstairs. This time Amara wasn't around, together with my fellow omegas they stopped from working here. I silently reached out and made my way to the kitchen, prepared myself a cup of coffee then stood there patiently.
Last night's sex made me realize one thing , fighting and being defiant was all useless. My fate was this and all l had to do was to accept it. I had to accept that I was Bane's mate , act like one and move freely in his chambers without causing trouble. Still lost in my thoughts, I stared at the guards outside with cups in their hands. Guards were everywhere and this time I didn't want to be stubborn.
But then what will l do when it comes to my mum?
She fully hates the Alpha, my mate.
I ignored the thoughts, filled up the single cup brewer, made the coffee the way I liked it then took it silently. I took my time sipping it, l was stressfree , Amara wasn't around to piss me off. After sometime l walked back in my room, took a shower then walked out. The guards were around but they didn't lay their hands on me as they watched me walk out of Blair's chambers.
Walking calmly, l began exploring most of the places where some of my fellow omegas we're. All the omegas were looking at me as if I had two heads and several menacing tentacles. My eyes fall on the bitch, Harriet who called me a whore in class. She was sweating, filling up the buckets of water.
I felt sad for her this time. I didn't feel as if her gaze was mockery, Superiority or disgust like last time. Her together with her group looked rather shocked and maybe jealousy. They were acting as if l transformed from an extremely ugly caterpillar into a multicolored butterfly.
Ignoring them , l continued to walk silently.
I reached an office with big cherry wood, bookshelves, billiard tables, and a good sized conference table with a dozen chairs , this was the dining room l bumped into. Shrugging my shoulders l made my way to the hallways that led to the basement. Guards were still around but no one stopped me.
in the basement l found a huge man cave with a pool table and a ping pong table. That was all fine but there was shockingly big canine teeth of some animals, of course they were teeth of wolves. They were perhaps the teeth of strong ancestors of Alpha. Before I could walk towards the teeth, my eyes fall on some boxes l quickly made my way to them and began to open them. I i'mmediately started going through the items without giving it a second thought.
"As expected there was fur of the wolves but there was also a photo album that seemed to belong to his mum, l did remember seeing this lady, when I was still so young , the first day l was told to work in Bane's chambers.
Whatever happened to her was all I didn’t know because I no longer saw her anywhere.
I kept going through the photos, I obviously didn't know who the hell some people in the photos were. They looked so old and they might be dead by now. I ignored them and sat down. I flicked through the other album and in the back there were few loose photos that l felt like l had seen before. Some of the photos were for currents elders of this pack.
I kept looking through them and saw most of them , where his mum was still young and was standing with a man holding her hand. Then there was another one where three kids were , two boys and a little girl. I did recognize their faces too, the little girl was Amara , Bane but I didn't know the second boy.
"Who is this third kid? Did he die?", By the looks he seemed to be older than Bane.
Just as l was still staring at the pic , I all of the sudden heard someone coming down the stairs.
