Beautiful Impostor
Kael
It had been a while since she entered the bathroom, but I wasn't worried. We were in the middle of the ocean, and it would be difficult for her to escape from me so easily. I continued lying down, calm, awaiting her return.
Sarah was a stunning woman who stirred my emotions in unexpected ways. I knew it could disrupt my plans if I allowed myself to be swayed by her innocent appearance. Despite her evident inexperience and always living in the shadow of her twin sister, I had no intention of fully surrendering to the strong feelings she aroused in me.
However, I planned to enjoy some moments with her and make the most of it, considering that my plan didn't unfold as I wished. Nonetheless, that wouldn't deter me.
Rachel was more cunning than I expected. She got rid of what I thought was the hardest part and frustrated my plans. However, not all was lost. When Sarah emerged from the bathroom, appearing completely recovered, I questioned how foolish I had been not to immediately realize that she couldn't be Rachel.
Although the sisters were very similar physically, their personalities were opposite. I was so obsessed with believing that Sarah was pretending to be fragile and innocent—two things Rachel was not—that I didn't realize the person on the yacht wasn't Rachel pretending to be someone else. The truth is, there was another person on that yacht with me, and only now did I realize the reality.
"I want to leave."
"Why the rush?" I questioned sarcastically. "I thought you were enjoying our time together."
"I've fulfilled my part of the agreement, and I believe you've had enough fun," her tone was serious, and she was visibly tense. "Now I want to go."
"But I didn't make any agreement with you."
Her expression grew even more serious, and she seemed to tremble upon hearing my words and their implications.
"Don't give me that talk!" she was starting to panic, it was noticeable. "We've fulfilled our part, and now you must act honorably and fulfill yours."
"I don't see things the same way you do," I spoke directly.
"What do you mean?"
"You're not the same person who was in the pictures, so I didn't bid on you."
"I don't understand where you're going with this."
Her eyes were fearful, and I felt a twinge of guilt for treating Sarah in that manner, someone who didn't truly deserve it. But from the moment she offered to give up her virginity in place of her sister, she should have been aware of all the consequences of that act.
Even though I didn't know how different the sisters were from each other, there was no doubt that Sarah was truly a virgin. And the fact that I was her first was affecting my judgment of the situation.
I planned that once I realized Rachel was no longer a virgin and couldn't fulfill her part of the agreement, I simply wouldn't pay her any money, and she would be at my mercy because I knew she needed the amount urgently due to the loan shark pressuring her.
Everything changed, and I was fully determined to continue my revenge against Rachel. However, now there was someone else in this sordid story. And that someone had completely enchanted me, but even so, it wouldn't make me give up. The plans had changed, that's all.
"I'm not going to pay for something I didn't purchase. Plain and simple."
Unfortunately, Sarah was now also fully involved in my plan and would pay for getting involved in that story.
"But I... I..." She tried to find the words but seemed too bewildered to do so.
"You offered yourself? That's the word. But I didn't want you. I wanted Rachel."
It was a harsh blow for Sarah, and I knew it, but she didn't need to know the truth.
"And I will get my money back."
"I want to leave."
"Are you sure you don't prefer to enjoy the night a little longer?"
I truly desired to have more of her, but I knew she would never accept that outrageous offer. However, I did it just to show my worst side.
She didn't respond and simply walked to the door, opened it and passed through, then slammed it shut. Despite her calm facade, she was also a bit stubborn, I thought with a wicked smile.
I then got up from the bed, ready to take a shower. As I did, I noticed the discreet bloodstain on the sheet, and it touched me in some way, but I resisted and tried not to dwell on that detail.
After I was done with my shower, I went to find Sarah, unsure of where she had gone. I walked towards the deck where I had been with her, as I imagined I would find her there.
I wasn't mistaken about that.
She was leaning against the railing again, admiring the place, something that seemed to calm her down, as she was much calmer than when she stormed out of the cabin a few minutes ago.
"We're still moving," she commented without looking directly at me.
"I'll arrange for us to return to the pier."
Despite my words, I continued to admire the delicate beauty of her features, highlighted by the moonlight, which made them even more dazzling.
"I hope as soon as possible."
The anger towards Rachel and her selfishness grew even stronger in response to her sad request. I was outraged that she had put her sister in this situation. It could have been even worse if that app existed and if the man in my place were some sadistic pervert.
I considered inviting her to accompany me, but I didn't want her to have any contact with Ryan. Unlike me, who was blinded by hatred, he would immediately recognize that she wasn't Rachel but her sister Sarah, for whom he always had an unwavering defense.
Remembering this detail brought a strange sensation, but it couldn't be jealousy! It couldn't be possible for that feeling to take hold of me so instantly.
I looked at Sarah once again, with regret, and distanced myself from her presence. I went in search of my assistant and found him in the main salon of the yacht, exactly where I imagined he would be. His disapproving expression was evident, and it would surely worsen when he discovered the entire misunderstanding of the situation.
