Epilogue

Sarah

I looked around, nerves making me tense, even trembling a bit. It still hadn't fully sunk in; I was about to walk into the church to finally marry Kael, the man I love and who loves me back, as he had made abundantly clear in every possible way. The emotions were overwhelming, and I wasn't sure if I could handle so much happiness.

"The wedding coordinator gave the signal for us to start," Ryan announced hurriedly. His anxiety was palpable, almost like he was the groom himself, which made me smile at his amusing eagerness to rush us. Rachel voiced my thoughts.

"Of course I'm nervous!" Ryan agreed with a smile. "It's not every day we marry two sisters. And twin sisters at that!"

"The boy's got a point," Joseph agreed. "I myself feel quite terrified at the responsibility of walking my daughter-in-law down the aisle."

We all chuckled at the relaxed way the men were taking the situation. However, as the organ began to play the wedding march and the coordinator signaled us to start our slow walk down the church's central aisle, I too was feeling quite nervous once again.

Rachel and I had decided to marry on the same day and have our receptions together, considering we had many mutual friends, with few exceptions. We weren't surrounded by a large crowd of friends, mostly because most of the guests were Kael's business associates and partners, as well as Enrico's sports friends. Still, it was a considerable list.

The event was truly grand, filled with luxury and splendor. While it might not have been exactly what I would have chosen, there was no reason to complain. Everything was beautiful, splendidly so, and it was a very happy and special day for us.

"Ready, sister?" Rachel asked, smiling.

"I'm ready and eager to meet Kael," I confessed, genuinely happy.

Rachel

The wedding party was incredibly lively, and I had absolutely nothing to complain about regarding the ceremony. Everything was perfect and exactly as I could have wished for. Moreover, the most important thing happened: I married the man I love, and in a few months, he will be the father of my children.

"Are you happy?" Enrico asked as we danced to a slow, romantic song.

"Very happy," I replied without hesitation.

"To make my happiness complete, there's still one thing that needs to happen..."

From Enrico's relaxed tone and from what I knew of my now-husband, I knew that what was coming next shouldn't be something grave. Still, I pretended surprise and asked with mock concern, "What, love?"

"The honeymoon."

As I had imagined, it was just Enrico being Enrico.

"Oh, something really important indeed," I played along. "And what can I do to hasten your complete happiness?"

"Let's run away right now," Enrico proposed boldly. "No goodbyes to waste any time."

I could have scolded Enrico for suggesting such a thing, but I didn't want to get into an argument over something so trivial on our wedding day. Besides, I was eager to leave and start our honeymoon. Pregnancy hormones were terrible in that aspect, I thought mischievously.

"Then let's go."

Kael

I glanced at the clock for the fifth time in less than a minute, surprised that I managed to do that. It just proves that time is relative. The more you want it to pass quickly, the longer it takes.

"I still don't understand why we had to leave the party so hastily, Kael," Sarah complained. "I wanted to enjoy it a little longer. It was so much fun!"

I looked at the slightly tipsy woman in front of me and pulled her to sit on my lap, which she did with great joy, her smile making her even more beautiful.

"Because I scheduled us to leave in ten minutes, and I like to be punctual," I explained briefly.

Now we were inside my private jet and would soon be heading to Santa Monica, California, where we would spend our honeymoon.

"We could have traveled tomorrow, as we had planned before."

Sarah was full of desires and quite spirited, but I enjoyed fulfilling all her wishes. However, this time, I knew that my desire was also hers, and she just didn't know it yet.

I looked out the aircraft window and noticed a car approaching, immediately deducing that it was our travel companions, whom Sarah still didn't know we were waiting for their arrival.

"I prefer our wedding night to be in our cabin," I whispered in her ear, taking the opportunity to kiss her neck. "I want to spend the whole night loving you tirelessly."

Those words seemed to awaken my wife's libido, as she wrapped her arms around my neck, and her lips eagerly met mine with hunger and desire. However, I couldn't let her get carried away like that. At least, not right now.

"My love..." I said, pulling our mouths apart, even though I wanted to do exactly the opposite. "We have company."

Just as I spoke those words, Enrico and Rachel entered through the jet's open door, which was waiting just for them.

"We're here!" Enrico announced enthusiastically.

"Rachel!" Sarah exclaimed, showing the same excitement as her brother-in-law. "Enrico, my dear! What are you doing here?"

The question was asked with surprise and obvious joy, something I had expected to happen, of course.

"We're traveling together to Santa Monica," I explained with a satisfied smile, watching the two sisters embrace excitedly.

"You didn't even tell me," Sarah complained, but she was happy.

"I didn't know we were going to the same destination either," Rachel pointed out, placing her hand on her extended belly. "I guess our husbands decided to surprise us."

"First of all, tell me one thing," Enrico said, looking at his sisters who were still hugging. "Did you like the surprise or not?"

"Loved it!" Rachel said with a smile.

"Very much!" Sarah added.

"Well, that's all that matters," I said, feeling completely satisfied now.

I was married to the woman I love, on our way to our honeymoon, and she was extremely happy. What more could I wish for?
