He's Different
**Sarah**
Upon waking up on Sunday morning, the first thing I noticed was that Kael was no longer by my side in bed. I didn't feel surprised, though. Perhaps a little disappointed and sad, but not surprised.
After the wonderful night we had spent together, maybe I had believed that something had changed between us. But I shouldn't deceive myself with such a misleading fantasy, no matter how much my heart wanted to cling to every detail and make it real.
The reality was that the agreed-upon time for my presence by Kael's side had come to an end, and I was finally free to move on with my life. Rachel and I were also even in terms of any debt, ready to adjust to our newly-discovered reality.
Now, we had the security of a place of our own, where the constant fear of being evicted due to rent non-payment no longer loomed, and that was truly invigorating. Now, I was free from Kael's absurd demands, which made the situation even more gratifying.
Tears continued to stream down my face like little waterfalls, but that was just a passing and understandable detail. After all, I had spent thirty days completely at the mercy of Kael's whims, catering to all of his fancies.
Soon, these moments we shared would fade away. As I curled up in a fetal position, immersed in my distress, I was abruptly pulled from my thoughts when I felt an unexpected weight on the mattress beside me. My heart momentarily skipped a beat, almost leaping out of my chest.
“Hey, lazy girl!” Kael spoke, throwing his arms and legs over my body. “It's past nine. How about a yacht ride today?”
Kael's unexpected presence in the penthouse caught me off guard, especially on a Sunday, which was truly surprising. With a movement, I turned in his arms and found myself face to face with the most unpredictable and intriguing man I had ever come across.
“I thought you had left,” I commented, wrapping my arms around his neck as my face lit up with a smile. “Today is Sunday.”
I tried to contain the overflowing joy, but I couldn't. His mere presence at that moment was enough to flood my heart with contentment, and that was something I couldn't hide, no matter how hard I tried.
“This Sunday will be entirely dedicated to you,” Kael said, his words echoing in my ears and causing my heart to race uncontrollably.
If I was happy before, his words propelled me to a new level of joy. He made me feel special, and I kissed him, smiling.
“I think we should save the kisses for later, otherwise, we won't leave this room anytime soon.” He said, our mouths still pressed together.
Despite his words, Kael proceeded to kiss me passionately once again, leaving me fully aroused, even after the torrid night we had.
“Shouldn't we get up?” I teased, pulling our lips apart when he rolled on the bed, hovering over me.
“It's okay to linger a little longer here,” Kael replied, resuming the kissing.
I couldn't help but enjoy it when his hands roamed my body, caressing my sensitive and throbbing spot, arousing in me the anticipation of the wonderful sensations he always managed to evoke.
We only managed to leave that room much later, and when we arrived at Kael's yacht, which I was already familiar with, it was already lunchtime. We headed directly to the table set for two on the deck.
I was so engrossed in what I felt for Kael that being on the yacht again, after everything that had happened the first time I was there, didn't cause me any discomfort. The situation was completely different, and the only emotion present in me at that moment was pure happiness.
Being by Kael's side, with him acting so gentle and affectionate, was extraordinary. I was sure a smile was plastered on my face the entire time.
“Where's your bikini?” Kael asked after lunch.
He circled the table and approached me, causing me to stand up as well.
“I didn't bring it. Actually, I didn't even think I'd need it.”
“I thought it would be nice to spend some time by the pool on a hot day like this,” Kael explained, surprising me once again.
“What a shame then.” I lamented, feeling a little sad that I wouldn't be able to enjoy that experience by his side.
“But we can still make the most of it,” Kael said, pulling me to follow him down the stairs that led to the lower deck.
He led me to a spot where a moderately-sized pool was installed, surrounded by elegant blue loungers, expertly upholstered and strategically arranged. The chairs were adorned with colorful cushions in shades of orange and green, adding a touch of vibrancy to the scene.
“Are you thinking of getting some sun?” I asked, expressing my curiosity.
Kael had let go of my hand and, after glancing at the pool and the sky, began to remove his basic white t-shirt, smiling at me conspiratorially, which I couldn't help but laugh at.
“What are you planning to do?” I persisted when he didn't say anything.
“Take a dip in the pool.” He replied.
In reality, I was being silly, as it was quite clear what he intended to do when he started to undress. Now that he was only in black boxer briefs, I looked at him slightly confused.
“That's not swimwear.” I pointed out. “Are you planning to swim in your underwear?”
“What's the problem?” He retorted. “Come on!”
He said that, gesturing for me to come closer to him, but I would never go swimming without proper attire, and I shook my head to decline.
“No, thanks.” I declined. “I'll just watch you.”
“Are you sure?” Kael asked, smiling beautifully.
He seemed so different from the man I was used to that I felt a certain hesitation in turning down his offer. Looking around, I realized we were quite far from the marina where the yacht was anchored when we arrived, almost two hours ago.
