Tension
**Rachel**
After Ryan left me in the room, I took a quick shower, not even using the inviting bathtub in the bathroom, and put on a plush robe I found in the closet.
There was no way I was going to the building's garage to get a suitcase, and I was sure Ryan wouldn't do it either because he seemed determined to oppose me. I was determined to find a way to irritate him enough to make him bring the suitcases in the end.
In the end, the tense atmosphere between us didn't bode well for the rest of the night.
When the meal arrived, we gathered in the dining room and ate in silence for long minutes. Back in the living room, I tried to convince him once again to fetch my suitcase.
"The car keys are right here with me," Ryan said, dangling a key in front of my face. "You just need to go get your things from the garage."
"I'd rather sleep in a robe than go to the garage," I replied.
"You don't have servants at your disposal anymore, Rachel."
"Soon enough, things will go back to how they were before. After all, I'm going to take a lot of money from that wannabe all-powerful boss of yours."
Ryan acted as I had imagined and seemed to be quite annoyed by my statement, as he didn't fight back, but just turned his back on me, walking over to the panoramic window and seeming to admire the cityscape.
Perhaps Ryan needed a little lesson and I decided to tease him a bit so that maybe he'd get upset and leave the apartment, if not to get my things from downstairs, but maybe to leave once and for all.
An idea formed in my head and I concluded that, in the worst-case scenario, I could have a bit of fun with that starched asshole's face. I took advantage of the fact that he was standing next to the window and walked slowly over to where he was standing, stopping right next to his back.
Ryan seemed to be lost in thought and didn't even notice me approaching, and I was going to take advantage of that fact to surprise him. I put my arms around his body, hugging him from behind and leaning my body against his, gluing my breasts to his back.
“What do you say we forget this silly disagreement between us and have some fun?” I whispered in his ear, running my tongue along his earlobe.
As I'd imagined, Ryan tensed up completely, and his hands took a firm hold of my wrists, squeezing them in a very rough way.
“Are you crazy?”
He shouted, out of control, facing me and looking at me with an expression of true horror, which I found very funny.
“What's the matter, Ryan?” I continued with the teasing. “Why can't we have some fun?”
I managed to free my wrists and move a little away from him, looking at him with amusement.
“I'm sure your boss won't mind you having a bit of fun.”
I said this while looking at his body and staring directly at his navy blue suit pants, where I noticed that there was no bulge forming in that area, which indicated that he had no interest in me.
That wasn't a problem for me, as I didn't have any sexual or romantic interest in my enemy's faithful assistant, but it's amusing to see how panicked he looks when I'm teasing him like that.
“I would never go to bed with you, Rachel,” Ryan said, in a very determined tone.
"I don't excite you at all, Ryan?" I pressed, and I could observe the growing desperation on his face.
"Not at all!" More conviction than before.
"Maybe I can prove you wrong..."
I was bluffing, but I placed my hands on the sides of the robe and pretended to be about to open it, which made his eyes widen even more, horrified.
"Don't do that!"
"Why not, Ryan?" I continued with the teasing, pretending I was going to open the piece of clothing. "It'll be fun, I guarantee."
"No!"
"I'm sure I can change your mind..."
"No! We can't do this. We're siblings, you crazy woman!"
"What!?" I stopped my hands in their tracks at that very moment.
"What did you say!?"
The final question was posed by Kael, who surprisingly appeared in the room and looked at the two of us with a questioning look.
**Kael**
Ryan and I had planned to have dinner together and devise a strategy to get Rachel's effective cooperation in the investigation. However, upon receiving Ryan's call, I was informed that we would need to find another place to accommodate her because her apartment was not available at the moment.
Once again, Rachel had disrupted my plans, even though it was something trivial that could have been easily resolved with a hotel. Nevertheless, I was extremely irritated. I already knew about this situation since I had been monitoring the two sisters, but this information had slipped my mind.
I decided to have Ryan take her to the penthouse; it was not the right time to search for a hotel. Although I was not one to usually sympathize with Rachel, she had arrived from London without resting before coming to my office.
Unfortunately, I had to once again abandon my work to keep an eye on Rachel. I didn't want to leave her alone to roam around my apartment, and I also knew that Ryan needed some rest.
When I finally reached the hallway of my penthouse, my steps slowed down as I heard the voices of Ryan and Rachel arguing, once again. However, this time the argument was about something entirely different.
I remained near the beginning of the corridor, but they were so engrossed in their argument that they didn't notice my approach. Rachel was wearing only a white robe, face to face with Ryan, who was almost pressed against the glass window, which was quite dangerous. I assumed he was trying to keep his distance from her, but Rachel took another step in his direction, and he backed up another step.
"I'm sure I can change your mind..." Rachel suggested, and I noticed that she was about to remove her robe.
Ryan's horror was evident at this moment. I would say he genuinely panicked, which I considered a bit of an overreaction on his part.
"No! We can't do this. We're siblings, you crazy woman!"
"What!?" Rachel shouted in shock.
Completely bewildered by Ryan's words and not understanding what he meant by that statement, I walked to the center of the room, revealing my presence in the area.
"What did you say!?" I asked, seeking an explanation.
